Something must be in the water —or the genetic pool—because there's yet another young lady spawned from one of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills getting her big break in the fashion industry. Camille Grammer's little girl, Mason Grammer, just graced the catwalk of her second New York Fashion Week show. But, it seems, her modeling career started by accident. It all kicked off after a chance meeting with a fashion insider at Watch What Happens Live when Camille was in the Clubhouse for a sit-down with Andy Cohen. However, at the time the teen was more interested in kicking soccer balls than wearing couture.
"It wasn't something she was pursuing; it just came around that way," Camille told The Lookbook. However the former dancer/model/actress wasn't sure if she wanted her daughter to follow in the family business in the entertainment industry.
"It's a tough business so, of course, at first I had reservations," Camille said. "I wasn't sure. She was just 14 at the time [of her first show] but my daughter's very together. She's much more mature mentally at her age. She's been through a lot and she's very grounded. She's very balanced. She's just got a really good head on her shoulders, very bright. She's a solid person, so I said she can handle this and, of course, I would be by her side to help her and support her through this and also navigate the waters."

In addition to having her mom's knowledge of showbiz to help her through the ups and downs of modeling, she also has her dad, Kelsey Grammer, who had to warm up to the idea of seeing his daughter in the industry. "Well, my mom's a big supporter. I love her for that. I'm really thankful for her to be here and be support me all the time," Mason said. "My dad was a little shaky at first, but then he caught on and he's really proud of me." And the proud parents have offered the teen some important advice. "They've told me to stay strong and just be open to really anything 'cause anything can happen," she said.
Designer Malan Breton has also been incredibly supportive of the up-and-coming strutter, who invited her to grace his runway back in February and again last week. "He's really nice," Mason explained. "He's really lovely. I really do like working with him. Everyone I've worked with there, they're super nice. They're really kind."

And while it might be easy for some people to say that designers are knocking because of her famous last name, mama Camille says her burgeoning success is all because of her own "it" factor. "This is something that's her very own," she said. "It's because of her look that got her there."

As for her own model inspirations, Mason credits two of Malibu High's most famous grads. "Gigi's just gorgeous and I do look up to her 'cause she's so pretty and she's my inspiration 'cause she's beautiful," she said. "Same with Bella, too, they're both just gorgeous, and i really do look up to them."
While Camille notes that she's got some skills on the soccer field in addition to the catwalk, Mason's focused on being a teen. "I love runway shows. It's so much fun [and] if I ever get the chance to do magazines, of course, I'll do them, but I'm fine just sticking with runway 'cause it's really fun. And I enjoy it a lot," she said. "I'm really about my school, actually. I'm really excited about that and I'm excited about my soccer team. I'm just excited about life in general."
