In the wake of her divorce and ongoing battle with Lyme Disease, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum Yolanda Hadid is taking some time away for what she calls a "spiritual adventure." She's also ready to break some news: After reporting just last month she felt she was nearing the end of her illness, now she says she is finally in remission.
The first stop was Northern California's beautiful Mount Shasta, a former mining town that now offers luxury resorts as well as wilderness adventures.
She discovered stunning fall foliage, and called Mother Nature her "greatest teacher."
She communed with nature in the forest in pursuit of a "higher consciousness," and noted: "There is no Wi-Fi in the forest, but you will find a much better connection."
She shared a stunning selfie with Mt. Shasta in the background and nodded in hashtags both to "healing" and — at last — "life in remission." That's a new and welcome update for fans after her long battle with the disease.
She also wrote, "Lost my mind but found my soul."
Next up, Yolanda will continue her spiritual journey somewhere much farther from Beverly Hills: Australia. She posted a shot of her plane landing in Sydney, and wrote, "It's not until you have the courage to close one door that a new one opens."
