Lisa VanderPump tries to wrap her mind around how the Housewives' lives will change, and the ladies' first trip together.
Well finally after all this time we get to see a part of this story that has overtaken our lives these past few months. As we boarded the plane to Sacramento I remember feeling this was a trip that I was taking not just for that day but that I was embarking on a journey that would forever change our lives, an adventure into an abyss of experiences and emotions that would be recorded for all to see. I remember looking to Kyle and hoping that our friendship would sustain regardless of the hurdles we had to overcome. As a group of women we all seem vastly different, opinionated, passionate women who I envisage will butt heads in the not-too-distant future.
The funniest thing to me was the fact that I at 5'5'' and a 120 lbs seemed like a heffulump to the the rest of these women. I've seen more meat on a butcher's pencil! They are all miniscule --a diminutive bunch that is for sure!
I had no idea of the magnitude of Kyle's fear of flying, which did not make the ride any easier that's for sure. Throughout the day I noticed subtle dynamics that were beginning to form. Kim seemed often detached and I could feel a definite attitude towards Taylor, who I had also just met. It was a day full of laughter, but each of us were slowly integrating and observing each other.
I took my little dog Jiggy, and know for sure that I will be criticized for that, but he normally goes everywhere with me and that day was no different. The relationship between Kyle and Kim is one to watch, as even though they are sisters they appear to be polar opposites, so I am interested to see how that plays out.
I do tend to see the humor in many situations and I predict with this group of women I will need it to maintain my sanity in the forecoming months!
