Dance! Dance! Dance!

Taylor Armstrong has some advice for men, and defends her cotton candy-eating etiquette.

By Taylor Armstrong

On this week’s episode, the ladies and hubbies took a trip to the fabulous Palms Casino in Vegas courtesy of our friend, Adrienne. When you travel to Vegas a la Adrienne, you know you are in for some serious fun. We gambled, dined, and danced our way through the weekend, and even found time for relaxing in the spa. I was so impressed with Jay-Z! He is an incredible entertainer and although I didn’t know much of his music prior to the show, I am certainly a fan now. The one thing I know for sure is that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have no future in the WNBA. Watching us shoot baskets in the fantasy suite crushed that dream once and for all … we got NO game.

The best part of the trip for me was having the chance to dance with Russell. Dancing is something girls love to do from the time they are little until they grow old. My daughter and I have a great time dancing at home while we karaoke. Now here’s where the men are from Mars, women are from Venus thing kicks in … most men don’t like to dance (news flash, I know.) It was a blast having all the guys and gals out on the dance floor enjoying the music and the energy of Rain. So, come on guys … dance a little, women love it!

Russell’s business trip to Phoenix was quick and painless. In this economy, you need to take business opportunities as they come. He was back by dinner and had a productive day. And, it gave me a little time to have a spa treatment with Adrienne -- so relaxing.

I had to laugh out loud when I saw the cotton candy sequence, hilarious. Is there proper etiquette for eating a giant bowl of cotton candy? Do you use a fork and knife?  Do you fold it into bite size pieces? Clearly, this is the reason cotton candy is served on a stick! And Lisa, what kind of books are you reading that describe such activities, my dear? At the end of the day, I am a grown-up enjoying cotton candy in Vegas. YIPPEE!
