As for the Planet Hollywood bachelorette party: essentially my feelings were hurt by how that unfolded. I especially love entertaining people I care about at The Palms, and everyone around me knows this. Being able to do so is a great source of pride for my family and me. Even though I had been Lisa’s neighbor for years, I ended up having to hear from someone else that Pandora’s bachelorette weekend would be held at another hotel in Vegas. I was hurt because I didn’t hear it from Lisa first, and more importantly, had I known Vegas was Pandora’s destination of choice, I would have rolled out the red carpet for her. I know Lisa said she didn’t want to ask me, but there have been times in the past when she has wanted something at The Palms and I have always gladly accommodated her. I understand now that the party was a gift from another family friend, but it would have meant a great deal to me to help their family have a great time as they celebrated such a special occasion, especially since the party was going to be held in a city I consider to be a second home at times.
Lastly, you have to love a man who is willing to try and get on the bull like Paul did. I could not stop laughing. Bless every athletically challenged bone in his body for making me laugh, even in the midst of all the tension. This is one time when I wouldn’t encourage someone to just get back in the saddle. One time was more than enough….
P.S. I will be making some appearances around the country in the next few weeks as we debut my new footwear collection, Adrienne Maloof for Charles Jourdan. I will be at the Belk in Charlotte, NC on Sunday, December 4th from 1-4 p.m. and at the Macy’s Sherman Oaks store in CA on December 5th from 6:30-7:30. More dates and locations to come, including appearances at Lord & Taylor on 5th Avenue in NYC and more events in Vegas… Come out and see me! Check out my website for more details!
