A Wild Child

Brandi discusses the medication she took to fly and apologizes for her comments about Kim's boyfriend -- but not her swimsuit.

By Brandi Glanville

Wow, I'm pretty embarrassed by my actions in this episode to say the least. (I told you it gets worse before it gets better. Thanks for sticking with me!) Let me clarify, I have an extreme fear of flying. I have all my life. In fact, I have a prescription from my doctor for anti-anxiety medication that I use for long flights and smaller airplanes. It is the only occasion that I take them. While I did do a small toast for Mauricio’s birthday when we boarded, I avoid mixing my medication with alcohol, as its very unsafe. I now see how terrible this looks as it played out. Also, I did have a glass of wine once we had already landed and the medication had worn off.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

While there have been many things being reported and written about me (especially of late), I would like to reiterate something to my fans: I have always been a free spirit and a bit of a wild child, but I am always the one in control. I am a mother of two lovely boys and that is my priority. That is why I only take anti-anxiety medication when flying; I hate the feeling that I am not in control of my own mind/body.

Moving on, I really liked the Hawaiian group. I really started to understand how hilarious Lisa and Ken are together. I'm a flirt by nature, so everything to me is in good fun. Lisa and Ken are an amazing couple and have a wonderful marriage -- something many of us admire.

I do however feel bad about my comment about Kim's boyfriend, but all you can do is apologize, which I plan to do.

As far as my bikinis go, well they are all very little. I feel like I only have a couple of years left until my butt finally drops so I am going to wear them until that happens. What does Julia Roberts say in Erin Brockovich? "As long as I have one a-- instead of two, I'll wear what I like if that's all right with you." I've never seen an age limit on a bathing suit tag anyhow. I feel if you're confident and comfortable in your own skin then you should wear whatever you want to.

As for Taylor, I was shocked when she called and said her marriage was over. But again -- that just isn't my business. I was feeling really bad for Kyle having to deal with all of Kim's drama and kind of putting a dampener on all of Mauricio's birthday activities.

All in all it was a fun trip. Hopefully next time I fly with cameras, everyone (including me!) will be more prepared.

Xx,
B
