In Her Shoes

Dana explains the right time to apologize, but admits it's not that time for her.

By Dana Wilkey

From ass kisser to play date partner, what a change a week makes!

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

This week's episode got me thinking about apologies and when and why you should make one. When I contemplate whether to apologize to someone, I try to put myself in the other person's shoes to understand how I hurt the person, because that is never my intention. If my negative action was coming from a bad place, I generally think I should say I'm sorry. This is not just for the other person's benefit, but also to continue an effort in becoming a better person. There is an exception for me, and that is if a person insults me the first time I meet them for no reason in a personal way.

That said. . .let's just say. . .I'm not sorry for anything that happened on game night. (Wink.)

I'm in NY with Brandi and am very excited to be on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen tonight. I have a feeling I'll need to say I'm sorry a lot after that! LOL.
