Live and Learn

Kyle discusses the difficulties of navigating Spa Day and her relationships with Kim and Kyle.

Oct 24, 2011

Hello everyone! Well, this week we start off watching Lisa try to teach Adrienne how to cook a chicken. It was hilarious to see Adrienne so out of her element. Soap on a chicken? My daughter Alexia asked "What's wrong with that?" I started thinking maybe it wasn't that bad of an idea after all. When Lisa called to tell me that I laughed so hard! Now I may just have to try it.

Watching Lisa walk through Mohamed's home is truly jaw dropping. There are many incredible homes in Los Angeles, but Mohamed's really does take the cake. Whenever I am there I think to myself "Would you just lay around in your sweatpants in this house?" I feel like you'd have to get dressed up just to get your coffee in the morning! It's spectacular, and I think you will enjoy the episode with Pandora's engagement party.

Oh, it's a notpology. Color me shocked.

I think you're a great person & a great mom. I love you on the show . You and Lisa are my favorite.

Glad to see you apologized to Brandi.

Kyle thanks for admitting you and Kim were bullies on game night. I respect the fact that you are taking responsibility for your actions. That being said, you and Kim were both horrible to Brandi and should be ashamed of your behavior.

Lastly, I can now see that Kim is not some innocent wall flower like I thought after watching her last season. I can see why you blew up in the limousine the way you did.

After what I have seen thus far, I wouldn't be surprised if you did make those disparaging comments about Camille in Season 1. As far as I am concerned it wouldn't be out of character. After all, when Brandi confronted you during Game Night, you pretended as if yo didn't know what she was upset about...

Kyle, I heard you tonight on Watch What Happens when you apologized to Brandi. You are truly a class act.

People are accusing you of hiding the crutches because you laughed and went along with it. I would have more respect for you if you just admitted you and Kim were mean girls that night instead of making multiple excuses for your behavior. I no longer think Camille was lying about your actions. They speak louder than words!

I just finished watching the current episode and had heard about this blog explaining your story and that you had apologized. After reading this, I see a myriad of excuses, rather than a sincere apology. I do understand the bond between sisters and standing up for family, but it is your responsibility to call them out on their mistakes as well.

Hi Kyle: Saw "Watch What Happens Live" this evening. I knew you had it in you...Glad to see you and Brandi sort things out.

Kyle, my esteem for you raised when I saw how uncomfortable you looked when your sister refused to acknowledge your honest statement that you two where not innocent either. What's with Lisa though? She's got nothing to do w it but she stuck her nose in the middle of your conversation w/ Brandy. She wasn't even there. You could have straightened her out too. Sorry to be a stickler after you did do some good things tonight, but when you watch it back can't you see how you seemed to keep adding one more line when Brandy was trying to apologize. I thought she was more generous in accepting responsibility than you were. Thanks for the positive moves you made tonight, though. No one enjoys the nastiness, and I hate to have the show ruined like that. I've enjoyed watching all of you.

First of all I do watch all of the housewives. You are my favorite from the Beverly Hills Housewives, but I do have to say I am so disappointed in you. I don't like the way you and Kim treated Brandi. I felt like I was back in high school again and you guys were the MEAN girls. I do not like Brandi at all. It is true Camille was treated a little like that last year as well. Yes the dinner party from hell was awful. I liked the show Medium. Thank god the true person is not on the show. You know what I mean. Maybe she can tell us what actually happend to Caylee Anthony if she can truly do that medium stuff. Anyway I am worried about Kim you have to admity she is not acting or looking good this season. I don't think I have ever seen anyone act that wacky ever. You truly have it all and I admire you for that. Just disappointed in your actions sometimes please don't let any of this fame get to your head. I hope the best for you and your family. I do support you.

Kyle, I think that people are being incredibly harsh. Something that is surprising to me is that the show is teaching me things. I believe I've been a person who has looked at people as either good or bad. And, I've learned that people can be good and make bad choices. Sounds simple, but it's so easy to judge and write someone off. We all make choices, but most of us don't have to relive them over and over and over with so many opinions. I only know the you that I've seen on the show, but I believe you are a good person. It takes a lot of courage to be honest with ourselves and own up to our imperfections, but it's REAL!

Kyle, way to go sister!.. Don't ever apologize for sticking up for you're sister..what Brandy said about Kim was totaly unacceptable..She should NOT have said anything about her, she didn't even know her yet..Kim is just quirky in her own way, that is what makes her neat!.. As for Brandy, What a TOILET mouth..she gives me the creeps..

Its pretty silly for you to blame Kim for the way Brandi was treated. Kim hadn't even met Brandi before. You met her and you obviously decided you didn't like her and you clearly let Kim in on your opinion and Kim was following YOUR lead, not vice versa.

Apologizing is the right thing to do. It isn't easy but it shows you have character. But the one thing you need to consider is this is a part of who you are and instead of denying it, accept it and learn from it. Kim didn't make you behave like a mean girl, you did that on your own. The sooner you do that, the sooner it will change for the better.

Adrienne is a wonderful person and a very good friend to all. The richest and the most sympathetic of them all.

i personal experianced what i was told eventually your true personality comes through.

Hi, I just started watching this season. You all are fabulous. I have to ask why doesn't Kim blog? We would like to hear from her and what her thoughts are on the episodes as they play out.

Your sister comes first and you should always stick by her; the reason that you felt torn is because your relationship with your sister as you mention IS rocky. and this has alot to do with you and they way you can turn on her in a moments notice...we saw you do it last season and this season you are still not being supportive of her - you want to control her - you want her to do what KYLE knows is right and you know what maybe you have your life all set but she doesn't and it's okay; she will do better just stop standing in her way!!

I thought you were really mean Kyle. I have loved watching you, and liked you the most until your fundraising event when Brandi made her appearance and you gathered your friends around and made fun of her before you even had a real convo with her. THEN at Game Night you ganged up on her and alienated her...if I were in her position I would come out fighting too. You and Kim WERE mean girls. You were like the popular girls in high school that gather all their friends around them and throw darts at those less fortunate than you. You had your sister to back you up and you also had friends there that night, but Brandi didn't have anyone. I understand from Watch What Happens Live that you said you apologized to Brandi which I think was the right thing to do. It makes me sad to have seen this side of you because it came off like you were insecure and petty and you become mean-spirited if someone comes in and threatens your little fiefdom. Certainly something to think about. It's easy for all of us to judge of course sitting in our living room, but by being on this show you have to take the good with the bad I guess. I sure hope to see the better parts of you in the coming episodes.

I love you, I am still a huge fan.

God Bless

Love you! Don't worry... This too shall pass. You are so great to watch. Thanks for opening your home to the cameras. You are a "real" mom, sister, wife, friend, and daughter!

Kyle, You were my favorite in all the housewive series. You seemed to be the most "normal" and down to earth out of all the ladies. Unfortnately, this season you have been mean and childish. I truley hope you redeem yourself in the rest of the season.

I do hope you can be the bigger person and set an example for your sister. You both acted like mean girls on game night and at the spa get together.

I am kind of appalled at the behavior over the last couple of weeks from, Kim, Kyle and Brandi. While I enjoy watching the shows, lately I am cringing. It has been hard to watch.

We can only aspire to be better. Make the show fun to watch, not to turn off.

If I remember correctly, you weren't the "target" at the Dinner Party from Hell. You brought up New York and you were the one who asked for a reading. Then you made fun of alison for not giving you one (remember? "I'll get my credit card"?). It was a two-way fight, definitely, but don't deny that you brought that on as well. And for you to show naked pictures of Camille in the limo (which you admit you did at the reunion), puh-lease. You make excuses and ignore the truth at times. Your behavior isn't the best. I'm not saying you're a horrible person, but I am starting to see things for how they really are...

Kyle, you and the rest of the girls didn't give Brandi a chance from the very beginning...she was on crutches and tall and you and the rest of the girls acted like mean girls...Brandi is the one that was treated wrong from the beginning. All the girls owe Brandi an apology for acting so rude from the beginning...you knew she was going to be in the show and thats how you welcomed her.

I meant you two ladies were bullies to Brandi and to be a better human being you should have accepted her apology and embraced her friendship. We need more to give out more positivity and less animosity

I understand you a bit more, but still disappointed. I hope it plays out better, because I did like you the most. But now you are so catty. I completely get you want to protect your sister, however right is right and wrong is wrong! Everyone that night (everyone, all 6)was wrong. Some said things, some didn't help people being attacked and a hostest was too busy trying to be a permanent cast member that no one acted like a mother, friend or lady! Bad bad bad!

I love your sister Kim and I love that you are supportive of her. I love to see you two laughing together and I loved watching you two jump on the trampoline. I believe Brandi did owe Kim an apology. I realize Kim said she didnt want to be on her team. Kim just takes a while to warm up to people and find out if she can TRUST them. You cant really BLAME Kim for what went on. You didnt seem nervous, you were FULL OF LAUGHTER yourself. You looked like you were having fun and enjoying yourself.

I know you're a great person Kyle, a great friend and sister! I'm sure plenty of people have been in the same situation where someone was accusing a sibling of theirs and they defended them no matter what. Even though things are different now, Brandi had no right to make those accusations against Kim and she didn't even know her. It's great that you two have made up and are moving forward in your lives! I love you and your personality, always have!! You make me laugh every week!! I wish you all the best!! xoxo

Don't sweat it. So not worth your time. I for one, admire your honesty!

Kyle, you are totally trying to place the blame on Kim...just own up to it yourself. Kim may have said she didn't want Brandi on her team, but you took it to the next level about her kids (which is not really a big deal). I am not necessarily Team Brandi...but let's face it, you can be really, really mean. You were mean to Camille and your sister last season and this season its Brandi.

I don't care what anyone says, I love you and you was just defending your sister that is what family do. I love your sister too and understand what she told your sister was not right but if god can forgive so can she. ;))

I am a huge fan of RHWOBH! As far as the Game Night incident, I think Brandi went WAY off the reservation!! She even later said that she had only met Kim that night. I loved that Adrienne said," There is your version, their version, and the truth." I hope that if she is a decent person that you all will come to an understanding, but if it turns out that she showed her true colors right up front, then I think you should all be thanking your lucky stars that you didn't get mixed up with her.

Just my opinion.

Melanie

Anyone who saw the show knows that it was Kim who said she hid Brandi's crutches (on Game Night, Kim told me she had put them back when I asked her what she did with them). As a sister, I guess I am immediately guilty by association -- which, I think is why I get so nervous.

You are guilty because you thought it was hilarious, encouraged Kim's behavior, and failed to tell anyone how they could find the crutches when Brandi was trying to leave. Low, really low and of course, more excuses.

Okay...I just heard you call into Watch What Happens Live and I love you again.

One can't help but feel sorry for Brandy watching this all unfold. Everyone is acting like she's the crazy one, when in reality, she is the only one who makes sense. It's sad to see middle-aged women jockey for position this way.

I am glad to read that you apologized to Brandi. It infuriates me to see Brandi made to feel as though it was all her fault. In reality she was reacting to you and your sister's mean comments.

Yikes! You are mean! Used to like you mean mean mean! Learn from paris's mistakes mean girls finish last!

It is so hard to watch you this season. You were my favorite. im so disappointed in you.

This episode just made me sad to be a woman. Too much mean girls all the way around. I hope all gets ironed out in the future - I've heard you on the after show and it seems to get worked out in the end. Good luck with your sister. That's one of the hardest, but can be one of the most rewarding, relationships around.

Beautiful Kyle....I hope you have yet another bicycle trainer who is helping you back pedal right now. It's all down hill from now on. Let's hope ;)

I love Portia. She is so adorable. All your daughters are beautiful. Just please stop the ugly. Sisters. Sisters are sisters. You just can't explain it. It just is.

I could see how your torn between making the right decision. In the end it would have been best for you to do the right thing and apologize to Brandi. It wasn't right how you and Kim treated her that night and she was trying to make things right with both of you. I hope all goes well in the next episode.

You're gorgeous, Kyle. I am so glad I saw a better side of you and I can see you and Brandi becoming good friends. I hope we don't see another fight like that.

Kyle I think you are the only "real" person on the show, and I don't care what others taught of you of what you said to Brandi or what took place during game night. Someone had to put her in her place. You are awesome Kyle

I think you need to hold your head high and be proud of the person you are. That said I also think you need to admit fault when you see it and I don't believe any honest person can watch Game Night or Spa Day and honestly think your behavior was 'right'. Mistakes happen, unfortunately one of yours was caught on national TV. But to do it again...fall into the giggling with your sister, the catty chat about how Brandi is crying (like that's something to laugh about...who does that?) on Spa Day. Once is a mistake, twice is a fool or you're just showing your true colors - so which is it? Because you are starting to make viewers question your true integrity.

Accept the fact the world knows and understands your sister is going through 'something' but this in no way means you become the mean sister and attack anyone who in truth was only defending herself from an attack such as the one you and Kim gave Brandi. I think you are getting so much grief over this because your actions don't show you have any remorse. Make it right and move on from this.

Kyle I am so disappointed in you this season. I was a loyal fan of yours last season and now I see your true colors. You and your sister are like children picking on the new girl, I use to think you were so secure and nice. Now I see how mean and inappropriate you both are, it was very clear who started that fight and you and Kim should grow up.

Just read your blog and heard your phone call to WWHL, I'm glad you regret your part in it. Please do LEARN from this.
