God bless, Linda Thompson (mother of Brody Jenner!), for trying to talk some sense into our gals. "Look at this big white ocean. This ocean is going to be here long after we're all gone." Unfortunately, even a beautiful body of water could not distract them from the disagreement. And then bad went to horrifically worse when Brandi decided to remedy the situation by sending Taylor home.
And so Taylor and Kyle head off into the night with Taylor nearly burning the limo up with her wildly lit cigarette (In all my years of life I’ve never seen a cigarette do that. It flamed up like a Roman candle. That pack was faulty somehow). Here's hoping the gals don’t have any "fun parties" for a few days so they can cool down.
I have always thought of reality TV as a waste of time, and felt a bit guilty about watching this show. However, I have to say after reading the audience responses to the Housewives' blogs, I sure do have a new outlook! There are so many intelligent, REALLY insightful comments, far above what is usually seen on reality sites. In addition, most folks can actually construct a proper sentence. Bravo(pardon the pun), RHOBH viewers!
HA! Funny recap. I've seen cigarettes do that before, it's when someone's hammered and lights up the wrong end! The filter burns up like a torch! I laughed.
the cigerette was lit on the wrong end. you can see the label when the limo driving is lighting it. It's near her hand when it should be here her mouth!! DUH! lol I am not even a smoker!
Me hopes there was more in that cig to calm that crazy down. Can we say dem er ol?? That would not be enough for her pent up emotions.
Such a sad episode. If you looked at the motivations of every woman in the room, nobody was really wrong. I felt bad for Taylor.
I would love to ask Bravo a question....Your Real Housewives shows all revolve around people with money. Do you remember Roseanne and how incredibly popular it was because it was so relatable? Money obisouly doesn't buy you manners or class as the song says. I agree it's fun to watch, but would love to see some REAL people....not the size 2, self absorbed, mean girls...getting really old!
Taylor's cigarette lit up like a tree because she lit the filtered end. Notice she only took one puff? I died laughing!
Actually, if you look close, you can see that taylor accidentally lit the wrong end of the cigarette the first time around. That is why it burst into flame.
This episode is so sad that it made me cry. I used to watch this show with my daughter just for fun, but the drama has become so sick that I don't watch it with her anymore.
I really don't know where Dana gets off on making any kind of judgement about Brandi. I don't know how anyone could watch this show and make judgements about this disaster except to feel totally and utterly saddened. The person I felt the most sympathy for was Brandi. I think she is sweet, and I wish I had a friend like her. I would've had so much fun at a party like that. There is so much suffering on this planet, and to have an opportunity to be in a gorgeous house on the beach, with amazing food, belly dancing, and my friends.
I've seen a lot of tragedy in my life, and I know everyone tries to get through these hard times the best way they can, so I really don't want to pass judgement. It's truly disturbing.
You all need to keep DeeDee off the show. She causes problems and sticks herself in situations that don't or shouldn't concern her. Camille didn't ask her to fight for her. I find her totally obnoxious.
I love the way you write, you are so funny, sarcastic, and on target. You say things without actually saying them and I assume there are an awful lot of peole that actually agree. Thanks for writing :)
Her cigarette caught on fire because she lit it backwards! LOL if you look closely, you can see that she's lighting the filter end.
Has it gotten to the point yet that when you know these ladies will be spending a couple of hours around an open bar you break out the helmets and kevlar and have the fire department and SWAT team on standby?
Taylor looks like a smoker. I had always thought so, even though smoking is so non-pc in california. how else could she stay so thin? I found her crying really really odd. Contrived, maybe? She was making all the crying faces but didn't seem to really be crying. I don't know, when I cry, I cover my face, shed tears, etc. but she was just making strange faces, as if she was going through the motions. For whose benefit? I'm not sure- perhaps to exaggerate her mental status as an excuse for her going off the deep end. I found her comments at the bar about Camille to be SO passive aggressive. I cannot stand when people make comments like that within earshot. She is so trashy, I am sorry to say. Definitely OKALAHOMA. Girl be representing. It is so clear in these episodes that the women are aware of the camera. Obviously, Kyle would have asked about the abuse in the limo, had the cameras not been there. Why can they not just use the word "cameras" on the show. To pretend they are not aware of the cameras is silly, and it made for awkward television with regard to the Camille reveal. Had she just been able to say "why did you say that on CAMERA!!" it would have made more sense but everyone had to skirt around the issue, even in their supposed emotional state. DD is a nutjob. Camille should be embarrassed. First, the demented psychic(o) and now this? None of this would have happened had DD minded her own drunken business.
I love that Taylor continued to smoke the ciggie, despite the fact she was smoking the filter. Kim's comments in the interviews where she is wearing the peach floral turtle neck extravaganza are simply classic. What a meth head.
Has anyone ever commented on Taylor's daughter? Even in the beginning season she comes off as a spoiled brat who is manipulative and ornery. Given the craziness surrounding her now, I can only hope she is getting intensive counseling therapy. Taylor is definitely not the qualified person to handle the problems this little girl is going to be going through.
Your blog is sooo much better than the show. It is funny and snarky(which I love). I want to see the women try to accomplish Eat, Pray, Love for season 3. I think it would do them a world of good. I thought at first Kim was the fool but now I see she is the smart one to avoid the embarassment of stuff like this episode. Have you noticed how skillfully Camille winds people up and then stands backand lets her wingman/gal weild the hatchet? She did it last year at the dinner party with the psychic saying/doing her dirty work. This year she got DD to do it. Then Camille walks away with clean hands and her little MONA lISA SMILE.
Alcohol seems to be a common denominator for many of the spats that these women get into; that and easily bruised feelings and egos. One would think that if they reviewed some of the episodes, and read Bravos blogs it would be apparent to them that a cocktail or two less would be a good thing.
The world is a tough place for many folks these days . I do get annoyed with myself sometimes for watching such frivolous TV...I liked this show at first because it was funny. It took my mind off the fact that I have a fighter pilot son, that my 401K took a BIG hit, and my daughter has been out of work for 2 years. These women with their big makeup, big homes, and big checkbooks are a scream! Can they get a little happier and less witchy to each other? I think they could use a a perspective adjustment.
