Kim "Nose" Change
Kim discusses why she wanted to make a change in her life and why she missed Sophia's graduation.
Jan 30Hi everyone! I miss you all! As you know I been diving and traveling. Hope you all caught WWHL! It wasn't like there wasn't a lot going on here at home in Beverly Hills. Sometimes you just have to let the dust settle. Or has it?
I've got some pretty exciting stuff coming up. Changes, Changes! Which of course you'll see. . .
When I was getting settled in my new home, I was looking at pictures of my children and thinking about them as babies. How they have grown, and how I have grown. How our lives have changed! And I'm realizing that changes are okay! And I have made many. This is a whole new phase in my life!
I get up in the morning. I have my coffee and I listen to the birds. I say little prayer and a count my blessings. That is how I start my day, a whole new way!
It's a new start for me. My old friends and my new life!
I took a friend for a nose consultation to Dr. Grigoryants (VGPlasticSurgery.com) who came highly recommended from my sister Kyle. After watching my friend decide to do this, I decided to take a consultation of own! Not that a new nose was going to change me! But each time I make a change it helps my sense of courage! And it seemed exciting! A new nose to go along with all my new changes! When you do something on the exterior sometimes it gives you a sense of confidence too!
Kim, I am not sure which program you are working for your recovery but I was told at rehab that I am to worry only about MY sobriety, not to get involved in others addiction problems. It pulls you back into bad places. You do seem to be on a dry drunk a lot and get into other peoples business. Just stay out of the drama, do not stir any pots. Your recovery depends on it. You are hiding yourself away again (bad sign), not remembering that you made plans with Yolanda, making excuses for not coming to an event or party. The old Kim is very close to the surface. Leave the show and get better!
You're going to need a lot of nose jobs....you lie, then stick it into other peoples business. I still think you owe Brandi an apology for game night instead of acting like the "victim".
so proud of u Kim, take this jouney one day at a time and all will be well. Do not allow ur self to be drawn into any crap put u and ur house first now u need that~You are a beautiful and careing woman who lost her way but has now found it God b with u~love

Good for you proud of you for not taking pain killers after the nose job. I don't think I could have done that.

@liz.regan1 I believe she took them or she sure did save them, not sure she really did tell the doctor about her pass addiction problems. I think he would have told her to wait a bit longer into her recovery. He would know that she would be in pain and that most people need to take the pain meds, that the surgery could mess with her recovery.

Kim, I really hope you don't return next year, not because I don't like you, but rather, because you look like you're struggling and need to take some time to work on yourself. You seem disconnected from everyone, your decisions appear to be random and impulsive and, I'm sorry, but you sounded like your pre-rehab self. I don't understand why you are on the show but suspect it may be because Bravo wanted both the Richards sisters and Kyle pushed you into doing it. Your issues probably go deeper than alcoholism, but whatever is going on with you, you're too fragile right now to put yourself through the type of scrutiny that goes along with a reality show. Please get yourself a Qualified doctor and get the help you so desperately need.

I have never seen anyone with so many excuses... You are something else... I think you need to find a excuse and exit this show... You can only yell wolf so many times, and the viewers aren't buying it anymore...
Kimmy i just can't believe your puppy hit you in the face ! You poor "baby" maybe you need to quit the show because "something" ALWAYS happens to you when there's an event ! Well you did manage to make it to Mauricio's event but that's because you had something special planned you "naughty little girl"!!! and you love to "Act" !

@VAmaryann Have you ever had an addiction problem? I have and a few pills CAN change EVERYTHING! Her recovery for one. I can not have one drink or take one pill without knowing that I might not stop at one. Kim needs to sweat others opinions, they may be recovering from their drug or drink of choice. They may have relapsed and know how and why. That is why they tell Kim their opinions. So she won't have to go to rehab a forth time!
I don't understand how you could be on your way to Lisa's party and have your dog "hit" your nose. Was your dog in the car with you? When you called to tell Lisa you weren't coming, to be honest, you did not sound "right"......
I love this housewife. Hope she never leaves the show. It would never be the same. I was a fan of Tia, and Ruthie.

Kim, I have always liked you on the show, and I am glad you are doing well. One thing however... you sometimes comment on Brandi's hurtful words to you. You need to apologize for the way you treated her last year. I don't think you ever have. That whole thing was your, and your sister's, fault. You were horrible, and you were definitely on SOMETHING, and you've never addressed that. I don't think Kyle was on anything. She doesn't need to be under the influence of anything to be mean and rude. Still, I like you tho... can't stand your sister.

You were so beautiful in the movie Tough Turf. I mean really amazing!!! Did your nose change as you got older? because you were really perfection with the amazing long hair and all. Was that your real hair in the movie?
Hang in there Kim. When someone like you who has been so devoted to her children becomes an empty nester it is a major adjustment. Getting Kingsley is a good step in the right direction. I am going through the same thing and just adopted a dog too. Kingsley seems adorable.

Kim I sooo adore you!! You are the only real person on that show and you arent afraid to show the bad and good. Because of you I kept watching the show. I dont think you needed a nose job but I hope it came out good. It probably didnt hurt that much cause all the emotional pain you have had in the past numbed your pain sensors j/k I appreciate your down to earth attitude and I bet you could be friends with all financially classed people. Cant wait to the next phase of your life. Would love to see you get a jeep wrangler and drive around town with your dog!!!!!!!

really...sad. While we aren't all child stars and celebrities, and a lot of us have had tough childhoods... we do eventually manage to mature, and grow up.

I was so pleased and happy to see how excited Kyle was to see you after your Nose Operation. And, when you called for her as you were going under, that was sweet. I can see how much you both love each other, I'm so happy that things are getting better. It was very touching. I think your new nose is going to be fantastic, I'm so happy you did it, because that's what you wanted. You were always beautiful and a little touch up here and there is good every now and then, after all, this is the good life. God Bless, for a speedy recovery. You have a dog..wow..how great. He looks like he will be a tough one when he grows up. By the way, did I mention....My sister and I fight all the time, it's on again off again. LOL, right now it's off...I'm sure in a few weeks I'll be hearing from her, I hope...Oh well,

I love my sister...she is my best friend even though in some ways we are completely different. Trust in God and just wait to you see where He will take you....Love
Kim, congratulations on your recovery. You display commitment to focus on those things in Life that are so important to successful recovery. I admire and applaud you in standing by your convictions and stating the truth as you know it. These aren't always popularly accepted behaviors but at the end of the day enpower you to hold your head high and believe you've done the right thing for your Life of Recovery and those you love.

I know your nose will look amazing! One question, aren't you concerned, since you are such a good friend of Adrienne and Paul's, that he might get his nose bent out of shape because you didn't go to him for the rhinoplasty?? You realize Adrienne and Paul are still mad at Lisa for not having their daughter's party at the Palm's, which Adrienne owns 2% of, or used to, so
what do you think Paul's reaction will be. There shouldn't be a conflict of interest because he's
a friend, you can always sue him!

Hi Kim, glad to see you made it through the surgery okay. I really like you and wish you well in your recovery, I too am in recovery and know how hard this can be. I will keep watching and you keep growing. I think you add a unique perspective to the show, I sure see a difference in you this season. The trip you organized to Ohai (sorry I don't know about the spelling) was delightful.

lynnwhitlock My bad. I thought you might be Happy_Puppy. No, I don't read everything you blog. I think that Kim caring for a pit bull is a mistake. It is apparent that the dog is untrained and is growing. Kim is not strong enough to adopt the alpha position between dog and master nor will she properly socialize the dog since Kim isolates. A cute puppy can end up being very dangerous through no fault of its own.
Kim I know you have some bad problems but you are so mean to the people who care about you the most.It's always about you Kyle and her husband have done nothing but support you and you are rude and mean to them.Please get off the pour pitifull me train it's getting old.Sorry i am just tired of you thinking it is all about you it's not.You just can't be happy for anyone it's sad,just because you don't have everything they have.Get off your butt and make your own life.I am sorry you have problems but i for one am really tired of the crying,and the way you think everything should be about you IT'S NOT get over it thank you.
