Marisa Is So Over Taylor

Maris comments on the Moroccan dinner gone wrong and why she feels like Brandi deserved to speak up for herself.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a nice week. The kids and I are happy that Dean is back home. He was away shooting a movie with Matt Damon and oblivious to all the drama happening in Beverly Hills. LOL. This episode annoyed me so I'll just get right into it. . .

Tonight we saw Brandi's vulnerable side behind her strength. Brandi has been through a lot and it is great that she can be so open and honest with all of us. I think Brandi and Lisa are very cute together and it is nice to see this side of both of them.

Kyle and I decided to set up a dinner to break up the monotony of all the drama. I also wanted to get to know the ladies a bit more. It seemed like a good idea to make it a Moroccan themed dinner to add a fun element to it. Everyone was invited, including the men because the hope was that this would be a fun and easygoing evening. Little did I know that with this group, that is almost impossible!!!

In walks Brandi looking so damn gorgeous as always, I cant stand it! Brandi announces that Adrienne is suing her! WTF! Kyle and I are shocked! I didn't get into it because again, this issue doesn't involve me, but that didn't stop everyone else from jumping right in.

Let's talk about Taylor; she seems to be a walking contradiction. Honestly, how does Taylor tell Lisa to find her a man in one breath and then in the other she starts playing the victim, talking about how she feels guilty dating, etc.? I think it B.S.

Yolanda then makes the mistake of asking Lisa about what's going on with Brandi and Adrienne and the fire is now fueled. Brandi admitted that she shouldn't have said it, but unfortunately Mauricio starts to ask questions and then all hell breaks loose.I don’t blame Kyle for pinching Mauricio as a sign to stop engaging with Brandi; I would have done the same to my husband if he engaged!!

Then whom do we hear from again? You guessed it, none other than Taylor, who is so desperate to get some attention on herself that she starts sticking up for Brandi and yells that they are both are single women and need to stick together. Taylor goes on and on about how her deceased husband left her with a mountain of debt and problems..OMG.. how often do we have to hear about this!!! Who cares! So over Taylor! The thing that pisses me off is that Taylor is just fake, she is the Queen of inauthenticity.

Finally, after all the yelling has subsided, my husband Dean, as always, has to make a joke so he asks what we want for desert. I think that sums all of this up.

As I get to know these ladies more I am taking this drama less seriously, honestly some of it is so over-the-top you have to laugh at the end. If nothing else, at least we are entertained.

xx,
Marisa

Lisa V.: Everything Is About to Boil Over

Lisa V. thinks she was lucky to miss the plane ride over with the rest of the group.

Hello and welcome back. Firstly, the dream team charging 'round BH I could've done without. It was fun, but a lot of running, and my mind is useless with clues, so it was challenging. Too funny that Brandi was with Kyle, as they weren't even talking!
Anyway I got on the tour bus, back of somebody's bike, whatever it took...We lost our envelope at the beginning--oh, dear. Anyway, it is good to see all of the women having a laugh--very tiring, though. Our last destination was Villa Blanca--finally a glass of rosè! A trip was decided, so off we trot to Holland.

Remember how Brandi was saying, "Yes, Holland, we can all smoke pot!" Well that changes real quick! Having been raised by strict but liberal parents sounds like an oxymoron. What I mean to say is that manners and respect were essential, but as parents who lived in London through the '60s, pot was not a huge deal. The lighthearted banter later takes a dark side...

So I couldn't leave with the others, as I was working then judging the Hero Dog Awards and was already committed--after seeing the journey, I realized how fortunate I was--so Eileen and I joined a little later. David and Yolanda's event looked fabulous, though. To raise that incredible amount of money for such a good cause, I salute that wholeheartedly.

I really felt for Lisa as she explained her feelings in regard to Harry quitting drinking and the death of his brothers on the way to the event.

Lisa Vanderpump

I really felt for Lisa as she explained her feelings in regard to Harry quitting drinking and the death of his brothers on the way to the event. I feel that is absolutely why she is so concerned.

It was a difficult episode to watch as this subject of Kim's sobriety came to the forefront. I knew from experience and reiterated this to Lisa and Eileen that the possibility of this ending well was non-existent, as I had experienced her aggression in Paris, when I gently probed as to whether she had taken a sleeping pill, as that would explain her bizarre behavior. I still can't quite compute the difference between me asking whether she took a sleep aid, which she interpreted as contesting her sobriety, and her taking a pain pill at the poker night, which apparently had no bearing in breaking her resolve to abstain.
I had visited Amsterdam several times, and as I was visiting my family in London, it worked out perfectly--well the logistics did. The trip? Not so much.
You can see the tension between the group--like a pot simmering, then the lid is put on, and next week everything boils over.

Not too much for me too comment on, oh apart from, yes, the Dolce & Gabbana shirt is actually called " The pussy bow shirt." Go figure.
Until next week, my darlings, brace for the storm. As always...Love, Lisa.
