Now that Kyle is back in the Hills, she can rush to Kim's bedside. Kim's not alone of course. She has her giant dog Kingsley to keep her company. And Kim's new nose is adorable (at least it looks to be from the way the bandages are shaped). And Kim's trying to not take any pain medication. Her doctor even said that he knocked her out with a child's size portion of medication. She's enduring this whole ordeal with an electronic cigarette and a dream. Allison DuBois would be so proud.
However, Kyle's visit wasn't all nose talk. She relayed the events of Vegas back to Kim. Meanwhile Lisa told Ken her side of the story. And the two ladies seem supremely divided. Kyle's leaving matters to Lisa, and hearing how disappointed Lisa feels with Kyle's actions, I don't predict great things. . .Perhaps a sit down at SUR is in order?
What do you think? Will Kyle and Lisa make amends? Can they drink enough "Giggy-tinis" to remember the good times. Did Adrienne really not sue Brandi? Well we’ll have to wait until next week to find out about that last part.
I want to see a profile of Jennifer Gimenez included in the cast of Beverly Hills housewives. She has been part of the cast in Season 2 and season 3. Why is she not profiled? She is a great addition to the show. Please include more of her in the show. She is intelligent, well spoken, can hold her own and most likely has a fascinating back story. The fact that she has dedicated her life to helping addicts makes her a treasure in a swamp of self obsessed women. Believe it or not, viewers want to see some do-gooders and nice people to offset the mean ones.
I whole heartedly agree with you and you comment regarding Jennifer I respectfully feel the need to correct you on your misinformation about Pit Bulls and all Bully breeds. All Bully breeds are direct decendants of Molossers originating in Ancient Greece. They were big dogs with large bones and muscles with pendant ears and short muzzles. They were breed to protect live stock and property. Evently they were cross bred with other breeds such as Old English Bull dogs and Mastiffs which resulted in the bullies that we know today. It wasn't untill the 19th century that some breeders began to use the other unsavory purposes. I will send this now but send another comment in which I will debunk myths that you, like Kyle disemminate as truths. My info comes from studies by the AHA, CDC and National Canine Research Council.
YES,YES, YES!! Maybe the ladies could take a lesson on how we, through listening and respect, resolved and moved on.
Here we go: MYTH - Bully breeds are naturally aggressive and mean. TRUTH - According to the AHA (American Humane Association) on tests conducted by the American Temperment Test Society, bullies scored better than several breeds that are rarely associated with aggression, including beagles and collies. Additionally, research conducted in 2000 by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that no specific breed of dog is inherently vicious. And, National Canine Research Council director Karen Delise says that, in most cases, any dog that has a tendency to attack is responding at least in part to woners who have either neglected the pup or failed to give it proper socialization and training. That refers to all breeds. MYTH - Bully breed attack more humans than any other dog. TRUTH - The CDC estimates that nearly 4.5 million people in the U.S. are bitten by dogs each year, but bully breeds are less often to blame than many other breeds including Chow Chows and German Shepards. In another study conducted by the CDC from 1979 to 1998, researchersfound there is no scientific proof that bullies are more comonly involved in fatal attacks than all other dogs. BIG TIME MYTH (one that you refered to) - Bully breeds have a stronger bite that any other dog. TRUTH - Research conducted by Dr. I Lehr Brisbin at the University of Georgia shows that bully breeds don't show any mechanical or morphological differences in jaw structure when compared to other dogs - Nor do their jaws come equipped with locking capabilites. further more, a 2005 National Geographic study measured force of bite for several creatures as pounds of bite pressure. On avarage, dogs exhibited about 320 pounds of pressure, while humans came in at 120 pounds and great white sharks at 600. The study also included a simulated bite sleeve test with a German Shepard, a Rottweiler and an American Pit Bull terrier. The Pit actually registered the least amount pressure among the group. Last MYTH I will address - Bully breed brains grow continuously, causing them to go crazy. TRUTH - This rumor is actuaally a hand-me-down from Doberman's in the 1960s. Accordi ng to Delise's book "The Pit Bull Placebo" Bully breed brains grow at the same rate as any other dog's brain. Brain swelling typically develps only as a result of a head injury. Hope this helps.
tuscanyres Mona_Munaki Can we agree that we are both dog lovers? No where in your lengthy description of pit bulls, do you concede that they must be thoroughly trained by an expert. The same applies to other breeds but more so for pit bulls and other breeds used for fighting or taking and holding down prey. As a dog breeder/owner of many breeds (and mutts) I can attest that terriers (that includes pit bulls) often fight to the death. Usually females. I have broken up many a dog fight but my hands/lower arms are scarred from breaking up female terrier fights. I have no studies to reference. Just my experience, $$ vet bills and scars. Tell me that I'm wrong....when a terrier locks in on a bite, it does not let go. The same cannot be said of other breeds. Do you not agree that terriers can be more dangerous than other breeds, that most owners are ill-informed and that all dog lovers should train and socialize their pets? Lastly, Kim does not possess the dominance /socialization skills required to lead a pit bull.
Yes, I can totally agree that we both love and respect dogs. I am now enjoying communicating with you. The one place we can agree to disagree is the Pit, all bully breeds and terriers are no harder to train and socialize then any other breeds. As far as my opinion of Kim, she does not have the socialization skills to cross a street. ALL dog owners must understand the importance of training and socialization as well as the responsibility of having a beautiful life depending on you to teach them, nurture them and love them. I wish you well.
tuscanyres Thanks, Tusc. I love dogs, period. I loathe owners of dogs who think that their dogs can read their minds. That said, I watched the video of Kim and her puppy, Kingsley. He is a sweetie but is it apparent that Kim is not in charge. For his age, he does not know basic commands and basically has the run of the house and yard. With all of the remodeling Kim is doing to her house, I suggest she set aside $1K for training. If she is unable to leave her house because King hit her in the face, I suggest she set aside more dinero to pay someone to walk the dog twice a day.
Please get rid of Kyle, Adrienne, Taylor, Kim and Faye (the Kyle Clique) and find some women on par with Lisa, Yolanda and Brandi.
If you have anyone's ear at BRAVO, as I'm sure you do, please, please, please have them find a way to clear up the hurtful, stupid, DANGEROUS comment that Kyle made regarding Pit Bulls. It was incredibly irresponsible! There is an national battle happening over this wonderful breed fuled by the exact likes of these uneducated dispicable public claims. I get that the majority of viewers are awakening to Kyle's stupidity but that comment went out over the air ways and was heard. Real damage was done. Costly damage.
tuscanyres Nice try. Pit bulls, like any breed have inherent instincts linked to the intention of the breed. The pit bull origin is a dog created to bait (torture) bulls and for bringing down large prey for example wild boar hunting. Most pit bulls in America today are used to scare strangers from property by appearance alone. Also, most are not formally trained. Any dog can be dangerous but untrained pit bulls can be lethal. Once they bite down, they do not release their grip. Their bite is usually for soft spot that can inflict the most damage such as the gut and throat. It is incredibly irresponsible for Kim to have a pit bull when the woman clearly cannot take care of herself. A dog understands who's in charge through training that must occur every day. Kim herself is a target for the dog. The Happy Puppy can easily turn on her once it understands that she is not the alpha between the master and dog. I highly doubt that the dog will be socialized (another dangerous point) since Kim rarely leaves the house. That means that Happy Puppy is dangerous to other dogs, children and adults.
Ifind myself fast forwarding past Kyle, her buddy Faye, Adrienne, Kim, Taylor and when the film shows Brandi, LIsa, Ken, Yolanda, David it makes tuning in worthwhile. I would love to see just the last five with a series called, "The Fablous Lifestyle's of The housewives of the Rich and Famous". Bravo wouldn't need another show because everyone would be tuning in to this show every week. Who wants to watch a bully pulpit from every show from the housewives. Bring on the sunny light hearted views. I love Yolanda's interior decorating skills, and Lisa' light hearted comedy quips she comes off with. Ken and David are great husband's. Love to hear David and his music. I feel better just thinkig how a show like this would improve the ratings and shut down all the others who fight and bully.
I just wish for once Kyle would get the same gang up treatment she so enjoys starting. But then the mean girls never do get their just desserts.
I used to feel sorry for Camille, especially when the kids couldn't say her name. After last weeks episode I'm not so sure she deserves any empathy. It was very apparent that Missing Adrienne didn't just pop into her head. It was obvious she had lines to deliver. Thats why Kyle ran after her. Kyle couldn't say it because we are on to her. I think her saying that Lisa didn't own Sur was the Coup de Grace, but it didn't work because Lisa was open about it in last seasons episodes. I wish Adrienne's minions would stop treating us like we're stupid!
Seriously! Faye is going to be on again tonight! Well, thanks for the heads up. At least I won't be blindsided like I was week before last. The up side is, I just saved an hour where I won;'t be watching the housewives. The down side is, I was looking forward to tonights episode. Oh well not watching is worth not seeing Faye. I hope for the rest of the season someone will give a heads up if she is going to appear.
BiloxiBelle Trisha2013 Simone_12
I just absolutley KNOW what you mean...Faye is just a waste of space (and a paycheck) on this show!
The common denominator for all of this drama is Kyle. She can't forgive and forget and loves to stir the pot. She's so smug....I can't stand watching her.
Producers....please clean house and get rid of Kyle (then Faye will disappear) Kim, Taylor and Adrienne. Just so tired of the needless drama Kyle instigates. This viewer actually enjoys watching these ladies have a great time.
BRAVO -- please! Please listen Kyle needs to be shown the door. It's already a given with Adrienne, with her litigious behaviour, and without Paul, she's a snooooze fest informercial.
Kim is already phasing herself out.
Please find a replacement for Kyle - she's of the same ilk as her friend 'fake' Faye.
I really miss the first season;it seemed to flow so much better. I'm just not buying Yolonda's lemonaid. She makes her life seem picture perfect. She think she's above all the other cast members and just doesn't fit in with the other ladies. And the name dropping has to stop!! I really hope Camille comes back full time and maybe Yolanda could be part time.
@hollykid Yolanda does not act like she is above everyone it's just that Yolanda has CLASS, I know it is difficult to recognize, under the circumstances, but Yolanda has managed to turn lemons into lemonade, she has had to struggle with some terrible health issues!! As for the name dropping, look at this way, if your husband hung and worked with Celine and Bab's ,etc. then it is all relative to your life , she doesn't brag about it, or throw in anyone's face.... that is HER LIFE . It is Beverly Hills, after all.
hollykid So you liked the first season because it did not include Yo? Of course the first season would flow smoothly because Bravo had a show to sell to its viewers. One cannot blame the fights in season 3 on Yo. Illogical. The fights in season 3 began in season 2 when two entitled wench sisters tried to verbally beat the ap-cray out of a woman on crutches that they didn't know. Are you saying that you liked Camille in season 1? Really? Then you are one in a million and perhaps Cam will invite you to Hawaii.
I thought that Camille was only going to on this season occasionally? She has been in every episode so far. It seems like the Camille from season one is sneaking back in. I hope it is just a fluke and she continues to be nice and stay as neutral as she did last season!!
LisaB24It actually DOES seem as if the old Camille is sneaking back, especially as she did not want to own up to a phone conversation with Brandi. What happened to saying it, and owning it? The truth that is. Only when it's convenient? very dissapointing...
I REALLY hope this is addressed at the reunion.
It's hard to judge the severity of Brandi's comment re: Adrienne, since we don't know what was said. However, I'm surprised Kyle has been so judgemental towards Brandi for revealing this secret about Adrienne's family; she revealed her sister Kim's alcoholism (presumably, a family secret) on camera.
Further, she was so indignant towards Brandi during "shut the f$&k up-Gate," enthusiastically agreeing with Adrienne's outrage over "who says that to another woman?" Well, Kyle called Camille f@#$%^&g liar during season 1. What's the difference?
Wonder how Kyle would respond to this?
I am sure it will be addressed unless Adrienne has threatened to sue (only so she can deny it later lol),
The thing is a lot of viewers have a pretty good idea of what this big secret has turned out to be. If it is what several tabloids have clamed it to be than Adrienne made a mountain out of a molehill (ironically the way she descibed Paul in this episode lol).
Mostly, I'd like to see Kyle respond to some of her hypocrisy. I was always a fan but lately...not so much
The show has become as boring as the rest. We have the dinners from hell, the stripper poles, the trips. I suppose next is someone who cannot sing will record a song and a renewal of wedding vows.
All this hostility is coming back from last years reunion show?! Seriously?
Bravo, I would seriously re-think your reunion shows. By the time you tape it, these ladies have already made piece with their issues and bringing this all up...AGAIN... does not make for some happy housewives. Nor does it make for great tv these days. It opens up all the hurt and anger all over again. Best thing would be to tape the reunion the next day after you wrap for the season. And I do not mean like you did for RHONJ season 3/4.
Your reunion shows don't bring out the best in your housewives and it seems to ruin friendships and families.
zookeeper93 Oh that's cute! MOOloof bag! Bet Adrienne will totally see the humor in that! She'll probably credit the label to Lisa...
I would like Taylor, Kim, Hoof and Kyle off the show. I fast forward through Taylor, Kim and Hoof. With one in particular, it just seems like an endless infomercial.
Are you kidding me !!!! They are what make the show exciting and fun to watch. How boring would it be without them!!!!
macliz Hulali @irisdan @charmed4life I just think this show isn't fun, no matter who is on! It's so sad that these privileged women are so deceitful, mean, empty, and pathetic. I could go on....I'd rather watch Yolanda pick lemons, Lisa get wooed by her husband and Marissa get stains out!
What is up with the new crap Kyle is spewing about Viewers turning on Faye all because Lisa said Faye was Kyle's Mouth-Piece?! What a load of CRAP! What else could they possibly blame on Lisa? Lisa saying that line had nothing to do with not wanting to watch the morally corrupt Faye on RHOBH. Get a clue, Kyle!
BeachBunny23 So true. What's not all Lisa's fault is all Brandi's fault. North Korea? The war for oil? Mitt Romney? All Lisa and Brandi's fault.
@BeachBunny23 "Turning on Faye" , would by the very definition mean, we actually LIKED this person to begin with, and we all know that is NOT true.
Brandi, Yolanda, Lisa, Kim, Camille - Season 4 cast...... just wishing... Always has to be at least one demon - that's why I vote for Camille for Season 4.
First, Camille's statement that Lisa does not own her business is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. If you are a partner in a business, YOU STILL OWN THE BUSINESS. It is like saying to her - "Do you own your house?" What is she going to say - "NO" because Kelsey Grammer owns half. There seems to be too much Lisa bashing - just because she seems stronger than any of the others.
Second - the only voice or reason seems to be Yolanda. I too would be fed up of re-hashing the same crap every time the group was together and especially at a nice dinner party.
