I don't know Adrienne very well because she never reached out to me, but I have observed her behavior and she comes off quite arrogant. Again she is belittling Brandi's business to empower herself, and I find it very unattractive and unproductive.
Even though they don't get along, they should not be dismissive of each other's success because at the end of the day we are all working for the same reason -- and that is to help support our children and family.
I took the same pride in my dishwashing job as a child as I take in running my company today. When done with heart, commitment, and integrity, every job is equally important.
Kim's phone call was a big surprise. I wished she had come to Vegas instead of having plastic surgery, because I was really worried that the anesthesia and medication would throw off the chemical balance in her brain and jeopardize her sobriety. It looks however, like she pulled it off, and, as always, I am rooting for her. If the nose job makes her feel better about herself, then how can we say it’s right or wrong?
All of us who have suffered from lost love can recognize the negative body language between Adrienne and Paul. It's sad when you get to that point where, for no valid reason, everything your partner does bothers you. I am sorry to see this and it's unfortunate for their children, but this looks like it might be the beginning of the end.
Yolanda, again like I said with Brandi, I don't care about anything that anyone has posted. I just watched the episode for lastnight and I have to say that I LOVE YOU even more then I did when I first saw you... I can relate to both you and Brandi on many levels The fact that Faye gets her confidence from the money she comes from and that alone makes me hate her more than I did before she even started appearing on YOUR show (quite frankly, WTF is she on there for anyway- bc of Kyle?) ANYWAY, I love that you are GORGEOUS and real and that you have been confident enough in who you are and how beauitufl you are to take Brandi under your wing. Lisa too. You and Lisa have proven your self worth EVEN MORE by being able to be friends with a beautiful younger girl like Brandi. I think it speaks so positively about both your personalities to be able to take a younger version of yourself under your wing and not be threatened. Both of you (you and Lisa) are my heroes for being such AMAZING examples to women of all ages.... I'm so happy to have another REAL woman on the show. Real meaning not fos and two faced. You are amazing... wonderful.
Thank you Yolanda for telling it like it is. You really see how people are and you call it.
You have gumption which some of the women do not have. I really dislike Faye. Glad you put her and her minions in their place!
Yolanda... You are amazing! I don't know how in the world you make it work with the other women. You seem to hold yourself to a much higher standard personally then the other women on the show.
I quit watching because of all the highschool behavior/drama from grown women. You joined the show and my girlfriend mentioned I might like the show again.so I tuned in. I have to say you are truly a breath of fresh air! Classy, beautiful and intelligent and you don't stoop to the others levels... some very low and redundant levels. Just shows money can't buy class, manners or grace. You either have it or you don't, You have it all!
You're a great example of how a lady should behave. I liked that you called out Marissa and you are right when you stated the night before "If you have a problem with someone say it to their face, what's stopping you?" They could learn so much from you! All the Best and thanks for keeping it real!
Yolanda, I hope you have the time to read this--I just wanted to say you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen on reality TV--both inside and out. You are refreshingly honest, beautifully humble, intelligent, well spoken, and a wonderful example of a strong, hardworking lady. Keep it up--I know it must be extremely difficult to keep your integrity with some of people on your show. You are my favorite! Keep your beautiful smile and wise words coming!
Hi yolanda. My name is hannah, im 14 years old and have been battling lymesdisease since i was 6. Im so sorry that you have to deal with this illness too, it makes everyday a struggle. I watch RHOBH every monday and you are my favorite housewife by far, not only are you the most down to earth person, but i can relate to you. Knowing you have lymesdisease and your so open about it really makes me look up to you. I know from twitter you havent been feeling well, i havent been feeling well either. I wish i had the courage that you have to be so open about having lymesdisease. I havent told any of my friends that im struggling with this illness, i guess its because im scared they wont understand, all i want is for them to keep seeing me like im just like everyone else. Seeing you be so open about it though has really made me think about telling them. Everyday with lymesdisease is a challenge and i just want you to know that i know what your going through and your in my prayers every night to feel better. Keep fighting, we will both get through this. I hope you feel better very soon(: xxoo, hannah.
I like your style, Yolanda! From healthy eating, your lemon water, how you nurture your marriage to David, to not lowering your standards to the drama. You can teach these highly emotional women (except Lisa) a thing or two. Who speaks to other women like this, no one I know, thank goodness. Keep on keeping it classy and I am so thankful you joined the cast. Please return and continue inspiring us next season.
Yolanda you are such a pleasure to watch! You are what I would of liked for all the Housewives shows to be about. Advice, life lessons, and how you live your life not all the bitter drama life is hard enough much less watching it on TV.Thank you for joining the show! I hope the immaturity of the show doesn't change your mind.
Yolanda, i really like you on the show. I think you are wrong in supporting Brandi, she is an alcoholic, into drugs, swears like a sailor. not a nice person. she constantely talks about how her husband cheated on her. that definitely went both ways, not even sure who did first. she also gave the girls a try. Lisa took up for her last season and no one cares for Lisa anymore. i know i loved her, now she is a liar as well and very greedy. please don't become another Lisa. I adore your husband, i have been a fan for a good 15 years or so.
you are amazing - thrilled you are on the show. The show needs more people like you, lisa and can't forget Brandi:)
Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future but concentrate the mind on the present moment.- lOVE THE COMMENT YOLANDA YOU ARE A GOURGEOUS CLASSY LADY XOXO
I loved how when you were tired of the drama in Vegas you got up from the table, announced that a private jet was waiting for you, and bolted. That was bad*ss!
I really like you minus your remark about only being able to buy your daughter one horse instead of three boo hoo.... I love everything else about you though you r very fair and seem real which is not the norm on this franchise... very refreshing to see someone stay true to who they . I really enjoy watching you , Brandi and Lisa.
@chester123 in Beverly Hills only being able to afford one horse could be an issue. It's all relative.
i think you're totally awesome and i like how most of the other housewives are kind of scared of you.
I absolutely LOVE you on the show this year. You have so many fans and it is only because you are kind, loving and speak the truth. Is that so hard to do in Beverly Hills - or at least on RHOBH??
Thank you for being a friend to Brandi, especially when she really needs one. One can see that you do not need to side with someone that comes from money and status (i.e. Kyle siding with Adrienne). You are a great judge of character and you make me want to be a better person after watching you! Thank you for your honesty and I hope you are feeling better everyday...
So glad to see you join this group of ladies, You seem to be a very genuine person and not afraid to voice your true feelings. Please continue to be yourself. I have watched real house wives from season one and I find it entertaining. This is the first season that I have gained anything, so to speak. After hearing you speak so highly about the master cleanse, I have decided to give it a try. Today was day one. Thanks for the info. Keep us in your prays. I am from Hattiesburg Mississippi, we had a really bad day Sunday.
Yolanda, In the beginning I thought that finally we would have a lady on the show. But tonight you have made catty, hateful remarks about someone you don't know. You say you like Brandi because she tells it like it is. Well, I don't see how constantly whining about a lawsuit and saying f---- you is telling it like it is. Brandi has said she was sorry for all the drama to everyone but Adrienne. What Brandi does is create situations so that all eyes are on her. Each woman there knows she could be next on Brandi's list. This group should be called The Mean Girls Club. Adrienne is no meaner than the rest of you, but you guys just won't bend. Yolanda, you keep saying that you can't believe how these ladies act. Careful. You are more like each time I watch.
Sheilarena Sheilarena I will use your post as a classic example of a "catty, hateful remark about someone you don't know." You forget Yolanda knows them a whole lot better than hmmm, YOU?
Im sad,you forget there are two side to everything, your talking about Adrian bad. Brand is the evil on and you will see , when she starts talking about you and your family.
You say the SUR remark from Camille was below the belt but I don't hear you criticise Brandy for making the same remake about Adrianne, I don't know why everyone continues to defend Brandy when she doesn't seem to know when to shut up and it wasn't Adriannes choice not to go to Vegas as you seem to say throughout the dinner, Brandi didn't invite her so she's not exactly going to gatecrash. I think she is classy as are you, you wasn't there when all the drama started so maybe you should reach out and get her take on the story before dismissing her and always taking Brandy's side.
I think because you don't talky talk all the time about everyone elses business, it makes what you do have to say that much more interesting, valuable & credible. If you were to say something positive about something I'd said or done, I'd be so Proud!!
Yolanda, I love the way you wear your capri pants, are they a certain brand? Maybe you should come out with your own brand, for all sizes, not just model thin!
I would love some of your recipes as I know you lead a very healthy lifestyle and it shows. I would especially like to know your chicken salad recipe! Our family loves chicken salad but so many are full of fat. Great contributions and wisdom to the show! Warm wishes for a healthy and healthful year!
Yolanda, I just love, love watching you & your family on the show!! You are still my fav housewife!! You have so much class & it must be so hard to be around such low class women doing the show!! I do love Lisa however but the others, not so much!!! Just keep doing what your doing & stay above the drama and be the beautiful, classy women we all love!! Give David & the kids my love!!! xoxoxoxoxo
Yolanda, another great and transparent blog. Your's is the only one I read past the first page because you tell it like it is with the utmost grace and class. I would love to be like you. You are so kind and loving to everyone and seem to be such a good role model for not only the RHOBH but to all of us! How in the world did you get on this crazy show?? Well, they made a good choice you are just what this group needed. I hope your health issues are on the path to healing! See you again next week!
Yolanda - you bring "class" to the show! I admire anyone who has the strength with this bunch to say "NO" to acting like fools, drinking way too much and saying whatever pops out of their mouths! I told my dd after viewing you on a few episodes, this is what I would think a Beverly Hills Housewife would be - you have class and the way you come across to others - I just love! I am also one of those who has always put my husband first. I cook his meals and cater to him and we have been married almost 30 years - he does the same for me - he works very hard everyday. We may not have "Beverly Hills" riches but we have a great marriage and NO DRAMA! I wouldn't trade it for anything. Thank you for TRYING to show another side to this group! Love your additon to the show!
Yolanda, I have to say....I really have enjoyed your addition to the show this season. You're by far the most awesome wife and mother I have ever had the pleasure of watching on TV. You're definitely NOT the "typical" Beverly Hills housewife...
Now, that being said...You said you watched the Season 2 reunion, yes? If that is the case, I cannot understand how you are so quick to jump to the defense of Brandi. The woman has a deep history of spouting things out without ever ONCE checking her facts or stopping to think about the consequences.. As for Kim not caring for Brandi, if someone accused me of being a Meth-head, I would give them no love either...
And Lisa is not innocent either. She stirs the pot quite often....I think before you jump on a bandwagon, you should review the history with these woman.
Peace, love, and light to you darling....
P.S. I did the "Master Cleanse" and O-M-G...It really does so many wonders for the body! <3
@BlingDong @ccwriter It may have been turned into a jingle, but the song was sung originally by Tina Turner.
Hi, Yolanda! I am following your advice to make sure I read your blog! Haha! One thing confuses me. You said on the flight home you got Lisa and Kyle to talk. But I was thinking they showed you left earlier during that mean spirited dinner. Maybe I am wrong on the time. Anyway, I find Kyle and even her husband to be a little too much this season. And I have loved them both so much before! But Kyle seems like an instigator. I know Brandi needs a filter on her mouth, but I like her. And she is so honest, so why wouldn't she come clean about a dumb nose job if she had had one? And when Kyle was on some show (WWHL?) she kind of said Lisa could defend herself. That's not the point, Kyle. I think Kim is okay now, but on the one show I swear I thought she had had a relapse. She was rude to you, about the Master Cleanse, did not remember you asking her several times, etc. And to top it off, if this is her "sober self", we may now realize she is a "mean girl" too. Oh boy.
I knew from the first icy promo of the show that I would like you, Yolanda! I think you are classy and beautiful with an old Hollywood appeal like Grace Kelly. Thank you for the breath of fresh air! Ahhhhhhh! :))
Oh, one more thing: Your health is not good? You look amazing and have the energy of someone in their 20's!
At last! Someone who says it how she sees it! :-) you seem to see things the same way as most of the viewers but most housewives aren't so honest in their blogs. I enjoyed reading it!
Yolanda I admire you so much watching a few episodes, you are classy and very kind hearted all the time. You are an example of a true woman, down to earth, humble and respectful to others.
Looking forward to see you tomorrow Yolanda. Your husband is a lucky man, to have such a wonderful wife!
I really think you are a very nice person. I now call my husband love. It was sugar. Southern thing I guess. Keep up the work on wanting to put your husband first.
I agree with kparacy. Yolanda you are classy and normal. It is so nice to see such a wonderful woman being not only a great wife to her husband but not going for all the "flashy stuff." You are down to earth as they come.
I really enjoy reading your blogs. They are so heart felt and you always try to turn there negative ways around to get to the bottom of the problem at hand, or at least how you see it. Yolanda you and Lisa are my favorites on this show. I think you are way to classy for this group. Please don't ever allow them to change the beautiful person you are. As far as your health I wish you all the best in the world. I really hope you read this because it comes from the heart.
Yolanda, you sure are having a lovefest here with the fans. I have a more "jaundiced" eye when looking at you. You are extremely condescending and a know it all. It seems you believe if everyone would follow your advice, the world woud be better. I think it would just be very boring. You are about as flexible as a stainless steel table.
I enjoyed reading your blog and your thoughts about the show. Yolanda, you are so classy and beautiful and just the epitome of Beverly Hills. Love having you on the show. It's refreshing to see someone so centered and energetic.
