Kim's Transitional Year

Kim updates us on Kingsley, her kids, and shares what she really thinks about the new 'Wives and Lisa.

Well, here we are again! Welcome back to another season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!! I hope you enjoyed our first episode! I've missed you all!

Wow, watching Gigi and Yolanda on Gigi's photo shoot was just amazing! What beautiful girls they both are! As a mother of three beautiful girls and a handsome son, I can understand the pride she feels watching her daughter succeed! I know this is been a rough year for Yolanda, and I'm so glad she's feeling better!

As a single mother having to get back on my feet after a divorce, I understand a lot of what Brandi has been (and is going) through! Seeing her achieve financial independence, and find a new home that she and her boys can find happiness in, makes me sooo happy for them!! And YES, I love her! She has a special place in my heart. We've come A LONG WAY!

As for my sis, she has her new store, and I couldn't be more thrilled for her! We’ve both come so far, and our relationship continues to grow in a stronger, more positive way! We really enjoy spending time together. I love my sister and today we have no problems! I hope it stays that way! As for the new girls, Joyce and Carlton, I like them both! Joyce is fun, bubbly, and has TONS of energy! Very sweet! Carlton is very different in a good way! She’s spiritual, kind, and she speaks her mind! They both do, for that matter -- haha!

As for Lisa and Ken, well, you just have to watch and read my blogs!

This is definitely been a transition year for me! The house is emptying out! Kimberly has graduated, and left for college! Brooke and her boyfriend, Thayer, have moved into their first apartment together. Whitney has moved into her very first apartment. Chad is still home, but he's getting ready to take some big steps!

So now I’m home with a very energetic, happy dog that needs a lot of attention! I really wasn't looking to take on another two-year-old at this point in my life but that's what I've been left with! Kingsley is my best friend and he entertains me 24/7! As you can see, we play a lot! He listens to my secrets! He's also an amazing cuddlier! But he definitely needs some training! I spend a lot of time these days going to pilates, meditating, and doing yoga! I feel happier, healthier, confident, and more empowered. Life is good, and I'm ready for whatever comes my way. Anything I say I try to do in the most loving way I can. Most of the time! Ha ha!

Over these last two years, rebuilding the relationships with my children, my sisters, and the rest of my family has been a priority to me, and it has paid off! And recently, I’ve added a little bit of my old social life into it! I am going and doing things I haven’t done in years, and I've brought my kids along for couple of the experiences! They have loved it! You will get to see a lot of changes in my life this season!

I was so excited watching my sister prepare for the 100 year. Too bad not everybody felt that way! When I saw and heard what Lisa said about Kyle and Maurice in front on my niece Portia, I was disgusted, but not surprised!! This is behavior I have seen for years!! But she is showing her colors more and more!! If I were Kyle, I personally wouldn't have her in my home again!!!

The party was beautiful! Filled with a lot of different people I hadn’t met, and this was the first time I met Joyce, Michael, and Carlton! I thought Lisa's decision to have Scheana there, was SO inappropriate. Considering the situation, this has been a very sensitive subject for Brandi!

As you can see, there are definitely some big waves being made here on the RHOBH this season, but there's also a lot of fun and love. Especially here at THE RICHARDS home!!

XO
Kim

Brandi: I Don't Enjoy Anger or Grudges

Brandi explains why she's ready to move on, as long as it doesn't mean kissing a**.

I’m back in L.A. after a wonderful trip to visit my family. I’d like to thank everyone for their support regarding my father’s health. Dad is back home and on his way to what will be a slow and long recovery, but he is getting better and that’s all that matters. I’m so grateful I was able to hang with my boys and family and just kick back, cook, watch my nieces and boys play, and relax.

So tonight’s show is pretty drama-free for me, which is great, because I’m in a happy place and sometimes watching old drama unfold can set me back a little, emotionally. And can anyone believe that we are on episode six, and I haven’t hit the sauce yet? Don’t worry, it's coming. It's not fun to be sober all of the time.

Lisa Rinna introduced her parents and her Medford, Oregon hometown to the audience tonight. I love to see where people are from. It was a heartfelt moment where she shared the regret of visiting her childhood home for the last time and the guilt of living far away from her aging parents. It was very moving watching Lisa R. trying to instill the gravity of the situation of aging, illness, and finality of life to her teenaged daughters. After the normal teenage resistance faded, they realized it was a serious trip, and I’m glad she insisted her girls accompany her on it. I have to add that after seeing Lois Rinna, I can see where Lisa’s got her eyes from, and Frank Rinna’s paintings are amazing. I want one.

Kyle’s BBQ was next with everyone having a pretty good time. It was a very nice party. Yo was looking perfect as always. Meeting Eileen was fun and talking about Days was fun, too. Yes, I was a fan back in the day. Once we sat down, Kim’s old acting stories about faking tennis on Magnum, P.I. were the best. Eileen’s husband, Vince, is really nice and had great stories, too. He was on a lot of TV shows, like Kim. Kim and Vince kept the laughs going.

It was nice to see Mauricio and hear about another vacation. He is always cool and relaxed, and it’s nice to see him doing so well. Anyway, when all is said and done, we all saw who the true star of the BBQ was…Yolanda’s sandals. Want!

Moving forward doesn’t involve me constantly kissing a**.

Brandi Glanville

Lisa V. and Ken were there, and despite the awkwardness, it was really nice to see them again. You could probably tell how uncomfortable I was feeling. You can also see, I tried. Hard. It was a bit awkward, but I did try my best to put the past behind us. Obviously this is going to take some time! Kyle said it best: “Lisa likes to hold on to grudges.” Again, Kyle said that, not me!

I don’t enjoy power plays, holding on to anger or grudges. I prefer peace, apologies, amends, and moving on. Life is hard enough without making it harder. Maybe relationships change but definitely trying for a peaceful coexistence is what I'm striving for at this point in my life. That said, moving forward doesn’t involve me constantly kissing a**. I won’t do that. Relationships have to be equal, right?

So, until next week, I hope all of you come watch my housewarming party. You’re all invited, and there’s going to be plenty of wine--my own personal label, actually (not that we have a name, yet)!

Happy holidays, peace, love, joy, and health to you and all your loved ones!

XOXO,

Brandi

PS: Please consider a holiday donation to a great, and my favorite charity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation. You too can help make a child’s wish come true!
