Lisa's First Impression of the Ladies
Lisa gives her thoughts on the the other ladies and explains the history behind some of her existing friendships.
How excited are you that RHOBH is back?! The better question would be how excited am I that RHOBH is back? Because I am. I am so incredibly excited to be a part of this great adventure with some amazing women, and the fact that it all kicked off with Kyle’s lavish White Party was just icing on my sweet cake! What an absolute treat it was to reunite with the all of the ladies in attendance. Always such a pleasure to see Camille,Taylor, Adrienne, etc.
Speaking of the White Party, I have to absolutely credit my friend Kyle for always putting on such a phenomenal bash. I have been to every single one of her White Parties, and year after year, she outdoes herself. Wait. Let me rephrase that: Year after year, Kyle and her boobs outdo themselves! I mean, come on. Did you see how amazing they looked? And in that insanely gorgeous dress, too! But on a more serious note, I have known Kyle for 10 years now and am so happy that we have gone from friends who chat in the grocery store to dear friends that can count on one another.
Through Kyle, I was introduced to Kim. About a year and a half ago, Kim and I got to know one another on Andy’s WWHL and had a really great time. She’s my "little turtle friend," since she talked all about her love of turtles and "turtle time" that night.
Would you believe that Yolanda and I have known one another for 25 years?! From then until now, Yolanda has always been such a class act and radiates a certain love and light that is simply breathtaking. Like I mentioned on tonight’s episode, she can walk into a room and own it. I admire her style very much and respect what a wonderful wife and mother she is.
And Lisa. My darling friend, Lisa. I have also known her for upwards of 25 years. We first met at a bridal shower where we hit it off instantly. We lost touch for quite some time when she went back to Europe but had the good fortune to reconnect when they opened SUR. I get such a kick out of Lisa and her sparkling (and very naughty!) personality and absolutely adore her and Ken. But yes, I am absolutely with you Lisa, while I love you two to pieces, I’m not quite up for the swinging thing to happen, either!
Unfortunately, I was only at this year’s White Party for about an hour before Harry and I had to leave for the Mad Men series wrap party, so I didn’t get to mingle with Brandi or participate in the dance party, but there’s plenty more fun still to come…
I do have to say that the most important part of tonight’s premiere episode for me was the scene with my family. I’m really excited that you got to meet my sweet family, because let’s face it, they are, hands down, the most important part of my life. To be completely honest, they are my entire life. So, the fact that you will get to know how amazing they all are is incredibly special to me.
I mean did you know that Harry (I’m going to start referring to him as HH) was such a Renaissance Man? A Mountain Man? For crying out loud, how many husbands out there are bringing little rattlesnakes into their house in a glass vase? And he takes such great care to ensure their safety and transport them far out into the wilderness where they are out of harm’s way. The girls and I just adore him so and love to support him in his role of "King of the House." (If you could see me right now, you’d know I was doing a double dramatic winking face.)
No, but really, HH and the girls are my everything, and I would do anything for their well-being and happiness, and I am just so darn excited to have you on this journey with me!
