Erika Girardi Has Thoughts About This Hack for Making Toast Without a Toaster

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pop star gave some colorful feedback on her Instagram Stories.

When she can, Erika Girardi ensures that she has all the materials she needs to make it through a given day. (See: the wardrobe trunks with which she travels. Even to a temp job.) But maybe it's time she starts carrying a toaster in there? Because that's the only method Erika is willing to accept for toasting bread, it seems.

On her Instagram Stories, the "How Many F--ks" singer shared a silly scene from within her office, where an office mate was itching for some toasted bread. The only problem? The office, which basically has everything, doesn't actually have a toaster. But if you think that will stop Erika and her staff, well, think again.

The singer filmed as the woman toasted bread over an open flame... on the stove top. "Apparently we don't have a toaster here at the office, so she's doing it this way," Erika laughed from behind the phone.

When Erika asked the other party why she didn't make use of the broiler, the ad improv-minded chef came clean: She doesn't care for that particular cooking method. So, open-flame toast it was!

Erika narrated the vid with a little toast tip of her own: Toast the bread twice, to make it extra crispy. And though Erika gently ribbed the toast-maker, calling her "crazy" for toasting the bread over an open flame, it almost seems like a new hipster-approved cooking technique, doesn't it?

And hey, when we're craving carbs — we'll take them any way we can get them. And we wouldn't mind a little good-natured ribbing from Erika on the side, either.
