Lynda, I have to say that you appear to be the most authentic of the Housewives, so far. You have built a successful business. You have raised children, who are now adults, and seem to respect their mother (judging by your dinner table). In addition, you have a loving relationship w/someone who is of a different race (It pains me to point that out but it speaks volumes about your character and openess). I wonder how you would have reacted to Cat's comments at Stacie's dinner party? Probably with class and dignity. I do believe and hope that you would have addressed Cat's comments. I look forward to seeing you in the weeks ahead and reading your blogs.

What part of DC do you reside? NW, SW, NE, or SE? I am asking because of the title of the show, "The Housewives of DC".

After watching you on the view and no on the first episode I don't think you will be my favorite. Already you "seem" two-faced.....I don't care for Michaele...but you act as if you don't like her and then the next minute you act as if you do. Which says to me you are not a straight shooter.

I was so excited to see a woman of your caliber on this show. There is that IT factor that some people have and Lady you have it!!!! Can't wait to see what comes next with you on the show. For me after this first episode, you, Mary and Stacie could carry this show alone!

Lynda, you are terrific! You showed incredible restraint and class on the View. Through their astonishingly bad behavior, the Salahis have hijacked this whole show, which is a shame. He is a brute, obviously. At the very least, he should replace your dress that he ruined, and you probably should get a restraining order against him, because his violent behavior will likely escalate once he sees how badly he comes across on the show. Your boyfriend looks like such a kind, wonderful man. Good for you, with a boyfriend younger than you. You're gorgeous, and very natural looking, a rarity among the Housewives! Looking forward to getting to know you!

You seem really cool, and girl I would have did the same thing you did....he seems so like a creep! But unfortunately, because of Cat and her views on successful Blacks I won't be watching the show, and just know that I have watched, OC, NY, NJ, ATL, and was so looking forward to DC, but Cat already erks me, I really like all of you all but Cat is to me...racist, because Tyra is successfull she mocked her and becuase The President did not RSVP her Really, he is running a country, would the Queen RSVP her...Hell NO! Anyway good luck but my friends and I won't be watching, maybe if Cat was not there....I hate a Brit coming here and passing judgement...especially a racist...could never watch again.

All I can say is it was absolutely REFRESHING to hear someone in the fashion industry express concern about someone being TOO skinny.

I also don't think... whether you are right or wrong about the state of someone's health.. that you can "accuse" someone of being too skinny or, frankly, too fat.

Frankly speaking as someone who has a weight problem on the opposite end of the spectrum.. you only become as defensive as she did when you know its the truth. My mother pesters me about the weight (not that you were taking on the mother role) I get angry... of course, she's a bit more persistent. Thing is... I know I have the issue, so her driving the point home becomes annoying. I feel like Michaele is in denial.

Oh, as someone wondered what you would have said to Cat when she was stepping on some toes in terms of race (I believe unknowningly, perhaps because of cultural differences).... I would hope that you could have used it as a private teachable moment later on.

I was surprised- you are the least intimidating in stature, almost seeming to shrink physically next to the other Housewives yet your personality packs the biggest punch for me. I believe that currently you are the most fierce Housewife, and I can't wait to follow your adventures on screen.

You said your modeling agency caters to ambassadors and dignitaries. Why excatly would ambassadors and dignitaries need models? For what? That does not sound like a modeling agency to me. I would love to hear you address this, because if there is a logical explanation I am missing something. Please clue us in.

I think it was you that said "I don't like inviting second tier" people to a party, or something to that effect. That seemed to me to be a very condescending and negative comment! I will give this show a chance, since I am interested in what it's like to live in DC! So...see you next week!

I am looking forward to this season too. But I am also curious - in the above clip you said your "artist agency" has a client base of "ambassadors ...dignataries...a very elite client base". Why do ambassadors, dignataries need your agency? What services does your agency provide?

Michaele has undiagnosed ADHD, and she and her husband are totally classless social climbers. Their lying will become a big problem on the show. However, I think you should not have mentioned her anorexia (I believe she really is, but you aren't that close to her to mention it). The rest of you have far more class than the Housewives of NJ - what a mess they are (except for Caroline and Dina)!

Welcome ladies, once again I hope this dose not be a one person hate show, I have giving up on new jersey wives, its nothing but hate on that show, I can not stand to watch it anymore.to me, you guys are a breath of fresh air. and I so love the fact that you have a african american boyfriend,good for you,and I love the fact that african americans is on the show,even though, this is not what the show is about,but I have decided to give up all other housewives and focus only on this show.

This second tier person from Delaware will not be watching your show. By the way if you are what representes top tier I am very very proud to be second or even third tier. Grow up. If there is one thing we have learned over the last two resession years is that " by your view " you can become second tier person with the lose of your job. What I also find funny is that living in Delaware I have never heard of your modeling agency, which you claim is number one.

I prefer New Jersey. Out of all of the Housewives show, Jacqueline seems the most down to earth person. I might add that Caroline seems approachable as well. But, you DC girls are snobs! What is with "inviting second tired people seems unnatural?" Wow, get off your high horse. You aren't any better than a migrant worker...we are all equal in God's eyes. You can't take your status with you. I find most people who are obsessed with status or those who "put on airs" really don't have status in the first place.

OMG...When I watched the preview of the show, I thought that Danielle Stuab (Real Housewives of NJ) moved to DC! You two could be twins!

p.s. I am sorry you had to endure the humiliation of having wine tossed in your face recently by the boorish Tareq Salahi, and what ensued on the View, but it does speak volumes about the Salahis and their antics. Hope they get what they deserve in the end, JAIL!

How refreshing to see a very beautiful successful business woman (the most beautiful of the cast I might add) who has a gorgeous black younger boyfriend, an obviously close relationship to your children, a very cool gay friend and oozes class and grace. Not to mention, you seem to be someone who'll step up to the plate, tell it like it is and defend your friends.

I already know you will be my favorite. Bravo got it right with the selection of you for this show.

Lynda appears to be the only voice of reason on the show - and the main reason I will continue watching. You go, Lynda! Love your style.

Regarding Tiers: bloggers: everyone has them so don't deny it. When you are on the phone, if call waiting comes up you look to see who it is. If it's a friend you really want to speak with, (first tier), you take the call. If it's a friend who you can talk with later (second tier), you let it go to voice mail. Right or wrong, we live in a classist society and there are tiers socially, professionally, in church, even within families so get over the tier comment, bloggers.
