We were on the same plane heading to London Heathrow a few weeks go . I wanted to say hello and that I didn't believe that you were a racists. I have to travel thorough Europe to be called an American. When I get home to the USA I'm back to black. I just think a lot of Americans don't get British humor. How refreshing to read a blog written by a well-read person who brings insight to our rather crazy way of doing things on this side of the pond. Thank you for your honesty....american's may eventually get use to it, but I found it so refreshing especially in DC. Political correctness has made normal conversations so difficult and may be why honest discussions about racial issues have not progressed beyond the -- oh you don't like Tyra so I don't like you stage. Having not grow up in the states, you can see and say what you like about all people. I believe you to be color blind and that you like people for who they are not the packaging they are in.

The show will not be the same if you don't come back. I have had a really good time watching you and reading about your extraordinary life. I wish you and your lovely daughters all the best on the journey ahead.

Michaele is so off the charts crazy it is unreal.

Dear Catherine, I am convinced that you have mixed up Tyra Banks with the Super Model IMAN. For one that Tyra doesn't talk or act like your impression of her on TV during the "Chef" episode...but IMAN does act like that. Just because they are black doesn't mean they look alike.

Cat..you are truly a strong woman. Your comment about the knot in your shoulders just made me cry. I have had that knot for as long as I can remember, and it stems from all of the exhaustion I have from trying to keep it together. Some husbands only know how to critic, even though we show extreme amount of support for them. We deal with all of their B.S. and no matter how hard we work or how much we do for our families, it is never enough in their eyes. Good for you for putting your girls first. (They seem so content and happy, congrats to you!) I wish I had your courage. I truly love my husband for he is wonderful in many ways, but not in some that I need him to be. I too feel alone, even though I am not far from family. Alone is different from lonely, and I feel from your comments, that you know what I mean. I cannot wait to read your book, and hope it brings you financial wealth for your family, and peace for your life. Thank you for sharing your feelings. I too look very tired, heavy, and the pain is also in my face. I hope some day I look the way you do now....ENLIGHTENED!

I think that Bravo should either keep you on the show or do a spin-off with you and your children going through the starting over process. I think your personality would make the show a great success and inspire many others that are in similar situations.

Seeing everything you did and then finding out everything you were going throug put things into perspective for me. I do believe that Stacy genuinely likes you, but I think understandably, she was dealing with her birth mother's racial issues, which I think could have jaded her perseption of you. I think the two of you were dealing with things that unfortunately miss guided an understanding the two of you could have had. None the less I do believe that the two of you will be friends and laugh off this junk!

That being said, I wanted to truly believe the Salahis, I did. Especially when all of you shut Mich out. Then she made that comment to you about your personal situation. At that point I was no longer empathetic, I was no longer "a fan". Regardless of the details, a relationship that once exited no longer does, and the transition period is still painful, even if it is for the best.

I feel sorry for Mich, Tareq and people like them. You may be "brass", but at least you have friends and a family that loves you. Anyone can get a man, but if Tareq is what Mich is holding over you, then my advice is to STAY SINGLE AND RUN FOR THE HILLS IN MARS!

I would just like to say that from Orange County to Jersey to New York to D.C. and now I'm sure Beverly Hills the housewives have gotten me through alot of tough times in my life just from them sharing theirs. I of course had my favorites in each show, usually the ones I could most relate to in my own life. I do live a very fortunate and wonderful life due to my husband's great sense of business and after 21 years of marriage still incredibly in love with the two greatest sons in the world. But having said that life doesn't come without it's trials and tribulations and mine are easier to get through knowing and being able to witness that everyone else has them too on some level! It made me feel better about any issues I have but I also felt that I had or have fun with them too from my living room.I've never been a person to impressed by meeting stars but I'd be thrilled to meet a few of the Housewives, of course over a great bottle of wine!(my son's business)! Thank you all of you! And if anyone is ever interested in a show about mid-west housewives I'm in!

Cat, I mistakenly took your behavior, as shown to us on the show, as something else. After a while, I could see the real you and could see that you were in pain. I saw that you are a good person who put people off with your honesty. You can also blame the editing of Bravo for the viewers getting the wrong opinion of you. I can see now that a lot of things were taken out of context and I know that the show does that for effect. Well, they got the effect they wanted initially, but as the show moved along, the real you came to the surface, because cream always rises to the top.

I admire your strength and courage. I'm happy that your life is in a much better place and you're happier. I hope that you return to RHODC or get a show on your own across the pond. That would be so interesting to see you interact in your own backyard with your real friends and family.

I like Mary, Lynda and Stacie, but you don't need them. And, I pray that Bravo does not ask the Salahis to return.

You looked great at the reunion, you were glowing..just wish your attitude and personality could have matched your good looks. You were so mean and immature with the nudging, the eye rolling, etc....why not just take the high road? Did micahela do anything to you PERSONALLY? I don't think so from what I saw. Why the big gripe with her then? Some would say is it jealousy or becuase you are just so unhappy yourself you want to see someone else go down too? I hope it wasn't lynda rubbing off on you, she is the queen of mean and she seems to enjoy dragging others into her hatefest of the salahis.
You, I think might be a kinder and sweeter person than the show has made you out to be, think you might just be suffering becuase of all the loss you have endured. First of all....I loved watching the housewives of DC....I Loved watching Lynda running her business and Stacie doing her thing....such an inspiration these women have families and still doing their thing.....and have handsome men standing behind them....I loved Mary because she and Rich (who's very handsome) have been together for so long and still seem so in love and he seems laid back but in control of his household (such a beautiful family) only thing I didn't like about mary was it seemed she just stayed at home went out spent money...and I'm sure their is more to her that we haven't seen yet...And CAT ohhhhh CAT don't change a thing....from the beginning your soon to be Ex seemed distant from you....i'm upset he bought you here only to abandon you....I believe you knew but you tried to make it work....And then there's Danielle I mean Michaele....Oh Lord here we go....I think Andy should've asked if Michaele was on something not just that night but everyday....

Hi Cat, will miss you terribly, but then if the show does not go for another season will miss the rest of the cast as well, except for the Salahi's, and they are a "piece of work". I love your candor, but my heart goes out to you and that you had to go through all that you have gone through and I know what that is like, so can sympathize.
I'm glad that you do have wonderful friends in Lynda and Mary, and think your friendship with Stacie could get a lot better, if Ericka would kind of butt out. It just seems like she is so jealous of you.

I watch these reality programs for several reasons, not least of which is the pure entertainment... but one strong reason is that they make me feel better about myself......... Sick as that might seem.......

Normally I don't write on these blogs, but just want to tell you Cat that I'm sorry to see you go. You were a breath of fresh air. It's sad to see those like Michaele grow and flourish from the media spot light this show puts on them as individuals. It's a terrible influence. I certainly understand your desire to keep your life private. God knows I would not want to be under the microscope these shows put people under. BUT a person who speaks their mind without personal gain as a catalyst, and exposes themselves as a genuine human being, is an influence I would so much prefer affecting the tender minds of the youth that make up such a large percentage of the viewing audience. These shows DO influence people. I've seen and heard "LOVE LOVE LOVE" more often since the NJ housewife said it then EVER before, just as a tiny unimportant example. I wish there were more like you who were willing to surpass the glitz and phony glamor these people so desire, and show a REAL person with real opinions, ideas, and feelings, as a truly "Real" life portrayal.
