I can only agree with this viewer, being from rural southwest Georgia myself. Lynda maybe you were refused service in certain establishments because you were either A. Doing the right thing trying to stand up for civil rights or B. In a predominantly African-American establishment and the African- Americans that ran the establishment were trying to keep themselves from being harassed or worse. Whatever the reason I also agree that maybe you misused the term reverse racism. As I stated earlier the I am from Southwest Georgia and Caucasian seem to still be the majority in the area. My family is from here and several of my great uncles helped to integrate the school system in the area during this time, as well as, started marches and sit ins. So, maybe it wasn't reverse racism, but safe keepings that was going for both you and the African- Americans that were being 'racist' towards you.
