What really goes down in D.C.? Get the dish straight from the Housewife's mouth when Cat tackles your burning Real Housewives of D.C. questions. Just post them below, and we'll bring the best of the bunch to Cat when we sit down with her this week. Does she ever consider holding her tongue? Will she be breaking out the Sarah Palin outfit again any time soon? And what is the deal with Edwina? These answers and more could be revealed -- send along your pressing queries, and we'll bring you Cat's responses next week.
In retrospect, do you regret wearing the Sarah Palin costume? Do you think it is more persuasive to have civil debate or offend?
People have commented on your "brash, English/London" behavior. Do you think it has to do with being from England (the difference in American and England's cultures)?
Cat, thank you for telling it like it is. Please ask Andy and the other women to not let Michaele give those wordy, evasive answers that I've watch her give in interviews during your reunion. Will you explain how healthcare works in the UK? And how are Americans viewed there?
cat, dont have have a question just would like to say you rock the show cant wait for your zingy one liners love the accent love the personality and the wils tongue you go get em girl!!!!!!
cat, have you ever thought of going back to england and starting a real housewives of england series? now THAT would be interesting to watch! also do you think so many people would consider your comments rude over there? Lastly, will you admit that sometimes you say things just for the shock value but know they are better off not said out loud?
Cat - Thank you for being you .. You're a breath of fresh air on a show full of stuffiness. (no offense of course to Mary, Lynda and Stacie) I was in stitches when you arrived at the Republican party as Sarah Palin. People may be hard on you because of who you are .. but I happen to like that about you. Since you tell people like it is. I'm hoping you'll be back for Season 2. It wouldn't be the same without you.
Not a question. I just want to say how sorry I am you and Charles didn't work out. I can only imagine how painful it must be to see these flashbacks from a year ago when you were still in love with each another. Carry on, girl!
Cat, you're a square peg in a world that insists everything be a round peg! Hooray for you! Finally an individual who isn't afraid to speak her mind and do as she likes (within reason)! Screw the status quo -- welcome to the colonies!
Cat, you set yourself up to be the Conservative villain after you so earnestly insisted that the Bush's were "good people"; but later you gave that Republican Health Care Lobbyist a stinging critique of the America's health care system and even threw in a few hilarious Sarah Palin cracks before coming out as die-hard democrat. Are you batting for both teams, or is it all fake DC politics? (Or maybe, a benign case of name dropping?)
I love that people know exactly where they stand with you - it's refreshing! In that way, you remind me of Bethenny (RHONYC). Care to dish on which housewives have had any cosmetic surgery?
Cat, I want to start out by saying first I think you're absolutely great on the show and you add that extra pizazz that every good bravo show needs! My question is was there something off camera that michaele said or did that influenced you to think so little of her? And if so what? Am i wrong in thinking this?
I didn't live in posh London but I did live in Leeds for 2 years and I agree completely with the British Health Care System (and the British School System). Glad to hear your comment defending mother England. I thought the doctors were some of the kindest I've ever met. I was in hospital in Wales and even there treatment was kind. Emergency rooms were my only complaint but they rival the ones here now. EVERYONE has a right to medical care! Thanks for being so outspoken on this issue. US Health care is NO LONGER number one! I miss England and am so glad to have you on the show!
Cat - my mom always taught me if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. It has always served me well in life! Now that you see yourself on the show, don't you feel that you are too harsh/negative? I can appreciate your opinion on things, but your delivery is way off.
Why do you feel you can say anything you want, yet you were so angry when when Michale's assistant stood up to you and said something back? Something is not right with that picture.
Cat, I think you are an awesome addition to the Housewife "club." I love your no nonsense attitude and I wish I was more like that myself. Please don't let people change who you are! You are a woman to look up to.
CAT, What is your background...did you go to British boarding school, were you raised in a traditional prim and proper English household, and if so, are you now socially rebellious because of it? If not raised a proper British girl, as you have gotten older, have you fueled your ways based on more of a cockney Brit attitude?
Cat...you are one of my favorites...loved your Sarah Palin out fit... please, do not let the series change you too much...and..continue too have fun with it...
As an expat from London living in the US like Cat I can see where she's coming from. She's pretty damn funny. I amuse my colleagues with the same brand of directness that makes their jaw drops. Hilarious.
I don't understand why you believe being British means that you have to forgo manners and be rude. There is a difference between being honest and direct and being outspoken.
I could not agree more!! I LOVE CAT!!!! : ) British people are known to be proper and Cat is, and she also lets you know where you stand with her. I love her directness and how she removes herself from situations she wants no part of - like the wine making day! LOL!! Like Cat would say, "What a bloody JOKE!"
Hi Cat: Love your upper class posh accent, and you are out spoken. Sometimes you should think before you speak. Yet, you make the DC show happen. Thanks.
Cat- How familiar were you with the RHO... franchise before you signed up for the DC incarnate? Did you have a favorite RH show (OC, Atlanta, NY, Jersey) and/ or Housewife? Any regrets- would you do it (season 1) again?
also
What has the reaction of your family & friends back home in London been to you on the show?
Self-Awareness - Do you realize that it was ironic that you called Tareq controlling and needing manners when people feel the same way about you?
Thank you for saying what I am thinking. You really make the show. Michaele reminds me of a yappy dog that is jumping on everyone begging for attention. I wouldn't be shocked if she starts humping someone's leg. Now for my question. As a mother of two girls, what has been the hardest thing about moving to the U.S.?
Hi Cat,
You are refreshingly witty and spot on with your observations and opinions. You aren't racist at all - just honest and British! I wish more people were like you.
Do your daughters like Washington, D.C.? How did they adjust to moving to this area? What is the relationship status with your Charles?
Regards!
Cat, do you think it's possible that Edwina suddenly realized that she didn't want to be associated with you or any of the other housewives, and faked her vertigo attack?
Would you please share your reaction to these two ideas: 1.) the attendance was minimal because people heard the DC Housewives would be taping there, and 2.) Edwina had a sudden epiphany and realized she would have to leave DC if she let you scramble her eggs one more time - which you were set to do in your Palin outfit.
After spending a few summers in London I fell in love with the city. The one thing I did not like about the city was the food. Indian take-away is great but I prefer the choices here. Do you find that there is a big difference in your eating habits here in the states? Love your sarcasm! I find you to be quite hilarious.
Love you Cat your a hoot, don't pay attention the naysayers on here.......you make it very interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm curious what if anything you like about DC and living in the DC area? You don't seem to have a very high opinion of the city in general.
cat you seem to be the most grounded of the housewives, now that you have heard michaele salahi has ms, does that make you want to be more empathetic towards her? in all kindness someone needs to tell her to put the wine glass down, have better dietary goals and take the heels off! do you think you could be the one to voice that to her and if you did would she accept your advice as sincere? thanks sf
Cat is just being a Brit. Brits think Americans are uptight about certain things like speaking our minds. They do not have the compassion gene that Americans do!
Why is it so many of the relationships on this show head for divorce court? Now I hear Edwina is divorcing her husband, who could be next?
I would like to ask if there is anyone new in your life since I am not sure when you broke up with your husband. I love your sense of humor & I like it when people speak their minds but sometimes you need to say it to yourself if you know what I mean ;) You can always talk to that person later whom you may think has said or done something stupid~ha
Who would you rather be stranded on a desert island with? Kelly Bensimone, Danielle Staub or Michaele Salahi?
I disagree with you...there is a difference between being compassionate and being a doormat afraid to speak up. We Americans need to stop being "babied" by everyone and do some straight talking ourselves. Cat may not always say the right thing, but she is more "real" than most people. if you see what is going on in this country now, people are fed up with the overly done political correctness, phony, and "hide behind the cover up" attitude. Maybe if we Americans could handle the truth like a pro, then we wouldn't have gotten ourselves in the trouble we have now..we have not learned how to be mature enough to take straight talk and face our own issues head on. Cat may go too far at times, but at least she is not hiding behind a mask.
Dear Cat: Based on your experience with NHS, what is your opinion on why it is so difficult to establish a similar set-up of publicly funded health care in America?
That Sarah Palin outfit helped to "make" that episode. We Americans have become too "politically correct" and too "babied". That is why we have such a hard time hearing the truth and taking it like a pro. That outfit was hilarious and it spices up the DC scene. She may not always be right, but respect the fact that we know where she stands....many people are too fake to allow that to happen. They rather cover up how they truly feel out of being too afraid of what others think. We all do it, but it is kind of nice seeing someone do some straight talk. Most Americans now want to see "real" people who are not afraid to speak up and not afraid to add some humor with a good dose of truth behind it....sometimes that gets the point across better than a "civil" debate.
Cat: I noticed how sensitive you were to Michaele's assistant's comment that you were being "bitchy." Do you think that you can take it as well as you dish it?
I love you lady, the DC Housewives are classic beauties. All of you. CAT you call the way you see with class. You can be a pinch abrasive but you keep it real. Love you CAT
Hi Cat, you are my favorite ! I always knew you had a lovely heart, after all your children are beautiful and happy and they are a reflection of who you are. D.C. is a bore and you bring humour to the city !
Cat, You are lovely, no matter what comes out of your mouth...you will make it! inner strength and that fire in your belly...helps you to get up every day and raise your beautiful girls...gumption girl...you have it!

Cat - thank you for adding so much spice to the show and always telling it like it is. My question is -- first, is it true that you've split from your husband and second will you be back for Season 2?
