In this episode one can see the ripple effect caused by the artist not performing properly. The fact that that not all the pieces were produced, and some of the ones that were produced were rushed work that were not painted with the quality that they should have been, made my job of selling the pieces a lot harder -- which in turn translated in stress for me in many levels.
During my conversation with Lea, I realized that I try to wear so many hats and always try to be so strong. But the truth is that is not easy to be a single mom and a business woman, and sometimes I feel overwhelmed by all the responsibilities and pressure. I do my best to give my son the best education available, but it isn't always easy to do it all.
On a lighter note, Alexia's cooking party was hilarious, and Herman did go out of his way to give us a true Cuban experience. Although seeing the whole dead pig was visceral and disturbing; it reminded me of a Francis Bacon painting!
Women everyday work and take care of thier kids; there are many single women out there with no help from thier childrens father. What I can see so far maybe you need to reconsider your boyfriend; what does he bring to the table? You are a strong person and can make it, mayber better with out the extra baggage.
You are a beautiful, classy, well educated woman who is doing it all! Good for you!! Keep it up and don't let anyone's jealousy or back biting bring you down. Thanks for being you and giving us something fun to watch:-)
I really root for you. I am Brazilian and have been through a few things you have too, so I relate to you the most. You are going to succeed, you are working hard. It is not easy but you will, you have the support of a wonderful friend (Lea), I see her as your angel, and you have your beautiful son to inspire you to be always better. Keep it going, never lose your smile and charm. Marcus was a bump on the road, there will be others, but the experience certainly made you learn some lessons and hopefully no one else will take advantage of you like that again. Kisses!
The last episode where we learned about your past struggles with your ex and money, really moved me. I had no idea about those things because you did not let them show. You are so sweet and kind to others it goes to show how strong you are by not dwelling on the past and keeping a positive attitude. Keep moving forward baby and good things will be yours.
Yes, being a single parent is very difficult. You are doing a fantastic job; don't let the stree get to you. I love the show and I love Miami and the Cuban culture! Hope to see more of it.
You sound like you have your priorities straight, and you are a wonderful mother. Your son is so cute :) if you aren't 100% happy with your boyfriend (although, really I don't know much about him yet .. he's very sexy looking, however :)) but don't settle! You have time and you are on the right track. Things will all fall into place for you.
Adriana, You are such a sweet addition to the show. I admire you for coming so far in your life since your divorce. You stated on the show that your income is not enough for you and your son's needs. Have you taken your ex-husband to court for child support and/or spousal support? If not, I would be running to the best attorney that money can buy! I hope you do, no man should get away with not taking care of their children! Good luck to you!
Your one to criticize the french for pluralizing words.Have you heard yourself talk. I'll give you an example of what you have said....he hung up on my face! Seriously its just he hung up on me....no on my face. Now my opinion on RHOM I won't be watching it anymore and I watch all the housewives. But this one I don't like...I think I'm getting put off on all the Cuban this Cuban that.I really wish you guys would move to Cuba if its SO great then why do you live here?
Adriana, I thought the same thing about the Peggy Guggenheim (not Lady Gaga) style glasses, just plain fun! She just needed a lhasa apso in her purse and she'd be all set!
You are the only one that makes this worth watching so far. I hope you stay friends with Lea and not lose the friendship over the backstabbing that happens with most of the women on these shows. Not happy to hear that there isn't much action ahead for the ladies....so far Miami is plain BORING.
I must say if one was judging you ladies in the beginning on your actions and appearence on the first episode, I would have thought you were going to be the classless b***h. However after watching a few episodes you are one of my favorites. I love your personality and how down to earth you are to be so beautiful. I am truly a fan of yours and dont ever change. I love how you remain a MOTHER to your son. Chrissy and Larsa are so jealous of you.
Adriana just wanted to tell you that you are one of my favorite hw and also that the season is coming to an end I think it was to short but anyway I enjoyed good luck with your gallery
