I can’t believe we are on Episode 5 already. Thank you so much for watching and for all of your kind and loving comments. I read each and every one of them, and I am humbled.
By the way, the best compliment I have received so far is that I am humble. It is such a complement, because my father taught me to be humble, and to me that is the best quality a human being can have.
If you have been watching, you have all figured out who I am and how I am by now!
Well, I think in this episode I’m finally safe! LOL!
What did you think of Venue’s photo shoot with William Levy? This man belongs in Hollywood. He is even more beautiful in the inside. Speaking of humble, he is as humble as it gets. I am so proud of my Cubanito and thankful that we were able to have him on the cover for the second time. The shoot was James Dean-inspired and everyone enjoyed every minute of it. James Dean would have been proud! His cover, for the second time, flew from the shelves and was a best seller!
Can you believe I got into an accident on my way to the fashion show? I couldn’t believe it either. Thank God I was fine. I kept thinking, "Thank God it was me and not my son Peter." That is always something I worry about. I was so shaken up because the hit was hard, and I was stuck in the car for a while until some neighbors got me out through the trunk, as I was sandwiched in from both sides. I obviously didn’t make it to the fashion show.
You are the most level-headed. Bravo! And bravo for being a real career woman too! Fan favorite. The other women should learn some manners from you & marysol.
Alexia, What products do you use on your hair? I have blonde hair and can not get it that shiny. You must share.
You are indeed a Cuban Barbie, and you so professional and yes very humble and down to earth. I wish you many blessings, all my love from Chile. I love the fact that you take care of yourself, workout and everything. staying healthy is the key to success.
Bless you, besos
I agree with you. Christy should have just owned up to being wrong. She knows that she was but she just keeps spinning tales.
Love you the most! Your son is adorable and William..oh my, gorgeous! Only one thing I wish you would do..make your hair a little darker!! I am Latino also and used to dye my hair really light ,everyone always told me its too light and I didn't listen..finally went to a stylist (becuase I was trying to become an actress) and she said first thing is you have to get rid of the blonde hair, it was hard but I listened....so went more brunette with lots of blondish highlights...it looks amazing and so much more natural. I have the same coloring as you do...dark eyebrows,etc....and I know you will look soooo much better this way too. Otherwise you are such a pretty and sweet lady..the only genuine one on the show!~ Also I am 5'10" and a size 8 and don't think of myself as "big" just normal and tall....Christy is jealous end of story! You rock!
Glad you fared the accident well and that you are as beautiful as ever. The shoot was interesting and your "guy-star" seems to have heart throb potential. With that said I have now taken great notice of your magazine and am impressed with the format and layout but am not with the way your husband presents himself as a down and dirty guy looking to shock people for the fun of it. That pig thing was horrifying and disgusting. As a Miami native who has had Cuban friends his whole life i have never seen a pig split and cooked like that and I am almost 50 so no matter what anyone tells me and I have asked many of my friends at dinner tables over the last 2 weeks this is simply nothing that is common in the Cuban community. It may be something that is done in parts of the SW part of town for block parties in very low incoime areas but that's not what you or your guests are about. You are way too much of a lady for that - tell your hubby to talk a pill! he makes you less than you are sorry for the harsh words but your so impressive as a person and he is so - well like Cristy that it amazes me - Good luck to you in all your ventures and in your future.
You are definitly my fav housewife of Miami! SO sad that there is only one episode left! Love the show and you and your family!
You are class! I saw you checking your watch when Cristy, Adriana and Lea got into the discussion. If only they would take lessons on manners from you and Marysol!
Too bad that you had an accident before the charity fashion show because you looked absolutely wonderful in the dresses you tried on. I loved the green one on you especially & the white one too! I really like your personality too. You aren't negative & catty like some of the others. I also like Marysol & Adiranna! (& Lea) Much love to all of you girls!
I am so glad you did not get hurt in the car wreck. What is the age difference btw you & your husband ?
Alexia, I've always admired Latin role models, but you are beyond my favorite! Thank you for being a strong, beautiful, intelligent woman that we can all look up to! Rose
You are beautiful Alexia, I like your personality as well .... Oh, and that roasted pig looked yummyy .... :))
You are just a pleasure to watch! So kind and humble, absolutely refreshing! You represent All women so well, keep up the good work! So sad to learn only one episode left..
Alexia thank you for being so humble and so real. I honestly was very turned off by the other housewives after the first episode. I kept watching because I am a true housewives fan, starting with OC season 1. Seriously you truly represent a wife, mom and friend.
Alexia I really like you... but have some self esteem!...i dont think you should have taken Cristy's comment about you being "bigger" in a negative way...If you are taller than her than you are bigger than her. you are both beautiful girls.
That is precisely the reason I do not have a problem with it. Have you every been to Italy??? The drink wine like water at an early age and the U.S still has more alcohol problems than they do.
Alexia, thank you for being so humble and real...you are a breath of fresh air to the RHW franchise. Keep representing the LATINAS!
I enjoyed seeing William Levy on the show! I think it is about time he made the cross-over into the English-Speaking world- that man would rise to fame in no time. I think William should become a regular on the show (just sayin'...)
Also, props to you for proving that you do not need to be a size zero to be gorgeous. You're fit and fabulous and you rock. How do you stay in shape?
Te mando un beso!
Alexia, got so worried about you in that acceident but relieved to see your husband to the rescue! he is such a prince! it was a great episode and so happy that you are sharing this part of your life with us viewers... what a treat! always happy to see you on Tuesday nights. you are awesome! you also run this magazine like a clock. finding WL and promoting him takes guts and you took that risk. glad to see it pay off at the end... see you Tuesday!
Don't change anything you say, don't apologize and don't change your hair or style. So called "very good" stylists suggested me the worst things I've ever done to "improve" my style. In the end, other people and myself liked me better the way I like my hair style. It is a matter of personality, not all skin types and eyebrow shapes should dye their hair the same way - you would just "blend in". You are drop-dead gorgeous, and I have the impression that some New Yorkers (not all of them, but some) think super blonde is way-too-blonde. Your eyebrows are also a signature of your looks, you know all of this, I am just saying it because I think no stylist should give a consultation without having being asked, and I am sure you have the best ones at your service. You are a wonderful, gorgeous, bonita, querida, super blonde! XOXO
Alexia.......so glad you are OK from your accident. I loved seeing Herman take care of you and put you into the car, what a wonderful couple you are. You, along with Marysol, have true class......the rest of them, it's hard to say. Lea has money and power, so that gives her an E ticket for many; but she does not have the class that you or Marysol have, she has the money and that's it. Adriana is lost, but still likeable. And Larsa is beautiful on the outside, but not the inside; and Christy is just a brat. Keep being you, we see you for the true beautiful heart that you are.
You are beautiful and classy best housewife. Love how you try and tell each one there is two sides to a story or that they need to see both sides,
Dear Alexia, I'm really glad you think of yourself so high and mighty because there are a lot of people out there who think the contrary. You are not all you say you are and people know that. Alexia we are not blind. SORRY!
Querida Alexia, you are as sweet as can be. You do a great service to your friend William, as few would know that he is a lovely person on the inside without seeing this episode. Most of us tend to judge handsome men as being stupid, conceited and arrogant, but you helped to set us straight on this. I adore your husband too, you are a lucky girl, and everyone who has you for a friend/family is lucky too. Saludos.
You have heard this a million times but YOU are MY FAVORITE!
You are INDEPENDENT HUMBLE AND BEAUTIFUL.
I watch all The Real Housewives and you are so down to earth. I cant stand the basketball wives because they're just golddiggers and think theyre celebrities *coughcough* Kristi. Being a hard working girl myself i think you are such a independent woman and look up to you. Every time you speak its always exactly what im thinking. You and Marysol are definitely more mature than all of those women. I identified with you on the episode at Kristis lucheon and you commented about how Adriana is sitting there having a good time and complaining about her son being picked up and in reality she should be the one to go get her son.Absolutely agreed! Even my bf who never watches the show was like "wow That girl is right!" Keep being who you are. Never change..
Much love to you and your family
P.s whats your sign?
You are one of my favorites!!! I love watching you on the show because you seem like you are down to earth and genuinely care about other people's feelings! Not to mention beautiful and fit!!!! Xoxo
Alexia, you got nervous with William Levy!!! hahaha!!! I don't blame you, I love my husband but William Levy esta como quiera!!!
Also, I thought your dinner was the best of all....it was the only home-cooked meal and what a view on the water BEAUTIFUL. Plus, your sweet husband made it himself for your friends, which was really impressive. Lea was very over-dramatic and disrespectful. She could have eaten salad and not made such a fuss. I mean, she's lived in Miami over 20 yrs and not seen a roasted pig???! Seriously, under what coral rock is she living??? que guanaja!
I'm glad no one was hurt from the accident. I agree that the charity issue needed to be hashed out face to face. All girls at the luncheon table where aware of the situation so there's no harm in bringing it up so that everyone knows both sides of the story. It is not Lea's responsibility to phone people who do not RSVP or say they will not attend because of being "out of town". If travel plans change, the invited party is respopnsible to RSVP before attending and take care of the business of payment. That is the "right" thing to do. Christy was trying to get buy with making her entrance with her guests and not paying. So obvious - have some common sense people!!
GOD! I want a friend like you! Any of those women should be grateful to have a friend like you and I hope that most do realize that. Once you spoke about not having nannies like the others and that you really do have a real and important job, I knew that you would be one of the stable ones. You were a breath of fresh air with this RW chain. Bravo!
From one Cubanita to another-- you make us proud! You are beauty & brains personafied- and it shows!
However, Christy is a tart, a liar, and I really don't know how you all can stand her underhanded remarks-- you are "bigger" because you are taller and in better shape! LOL!
You have class and indeed you are humble, I admire you. I just think you spoil that son of yours a little. And careful with that hot model guy, there is such a sexual vibe in the air (just kidding).. Looking forward to a second season. Hope one day I meet you in person when I get back to Miami. Have a great spring, gorgeous! xoxo
I think your beautiful and DON'T need to change anything about yourself. Your definitely my favorit!!! I have to be honest being a Latin myself I love novelas but there was something about William levy that I didn't like ( I mean am not blind I Know he is Hot) But seeing him on the show i saw he is really a nice guy and really humble! So as of Now I am Fan of his:) was it me or did this season go by Too Fast!!!
Actually, this whole charity issue would not have happened if Christy had paid for her ticket! Lea didn't have to come to any understanding; if you attend a charity, or any other event, you pay. Case closed.
Cristy didn't pay in advance, so there was no seat at a table for her. Did you notice that she brought up last night that she didn't even sit down? That's because Lea didn't know she was coming, because she didn't pay.
Cristy wanted to show up, get attention and leave. She wanted people to think that she could afford the event when she couldn't.
She wasn't 'supporting' Lea by showing up without paying. You 'support' an event by paying.
I thought it was so funny that Cristy made such a point about you being 'bigger' than her! Tall, fit, and sexy... seriously at 5'9" a size 4/6 AND rocking curves? Regardless of how much 'bigger' you are, you have a MUCH better body! Muy sexy :)
Glad that you didnt seriously get injured in the accident. Can't believe that next week is the finale already! That went by quick! Wishing you the best!
The luncheon was neither the time or place to bring up the auction. Cristy paid, I don't think she is guilty of anything! Adriana is the one always bringing up the negative. You are beautiful inside and out!
I just love you Alexia! And you are so humble despite your success. Finally a latina with BRAINS...not just beauty. You are my favorite housewife. And the way "you" raise your kids not your nannies, is so great. It is good to see an actual parent say no to some things even though you have the means. And of course they respect you. Stay your humble self, and out of the drama of the other girls in the group. You were a joy to watch, glad you are ok.
