This week was a crazy week. By now it's easy to see that Adriana will probably be late to her own funeral. She's given new meaning to " tardy to the party." All that hair and makeup stuff is way too high maintenance for me. My hair and makeup and wardrobe may not be picture perfect, but I try to be on time! Priorities anyone?
The art gallery party was hilariously insane! After being told to dress "outrageous and artsy" it seems as if I was the only one who got the memo. I know the rhinestone glasses and the tulle were a bit much, but it was fun. I'm sure Joan Rivers would have had something to say about that! I wish each of you could have been there as you only saw a bit of all that went on that night. There was more drama behind-the-scenes than someone stepping on the freshly painted piece of art. I swear there were more egos in that room than Charlie Sheen's bedroom! I really did want to check the shoes of everyone and catch them red-handed, or black-footed should I say?
I enjoyed watching Philippe interacting with his future witch-in-law Elsa. I laughed and laughed. Imagine Elsa telling her soon to be son-in-law she's a witch. Have to admit, that was hilarious. Then Marysol and Philippe left right when Elsa wanted to get the party started. Go Elsa!
You are addicted to your Blackberry & raising money for charity has become an your obession. It's unflattering to watch you in motion!
I just watched episode 3. I thought your outfit was very appropriate for a Art Show. I do think Adrianna overreated, but she just has that personality. You and Adrianna are my favorites.
Lea is the most 'GOT IT TOGETHER' of these housewives!,you can tell by her humor and those fabulous ggold sunglasses,darlene...who makes these I must have a pair.,you will be one reason why i watch this show!
Lea - Loved those rhinestone glasses and the tulle - you rocked the party! Great episode tonight; things are really starting to heat up - I'm looking forward to next week's show already. Stay fabulous!
Love you! Gaga didn't become Gaga by being "normal." Dress the way you like - and other than that there's nothing bad to be said about you.
Lea, I honestly think that you are the most intelligent and fun! I loved your outfit and thought it was fun and appropriate for such an event, the fact that you mentioned that you would have to buy the portrait of yourself i thought was very funny, others should take a lesson from you on how to pay for things like oh i dont know Charity Tickets maybe. I side with you completely on the charity event dispute if everyone has to pay for tickets then there are not exceptions, just bc you get a so called flat doesnt compensate rudeness. You handled it very much like a lady and i applaude you for it,
Hey Lea! I've followed you for awhile, being familiar with your husband's work. You can be my "fairy godmother" any time. Keep 'em talkin'...between your "nude illusion" and your "Lady Gaga" looks, I think you should be flattered! I know how active you are in charity work, and hope the show allows you to showcase that side of you more as time goes on.
Lea - I thought it was rude of Christy to "crash" the party with her friends....only fair she got a voucher for it. And I've heard of a lot of people in Miami, but I've never heard of her......so how famous is she??? I liked the reference to Gianni Versace - now THAT is famous. I think Mario the artist was a bit temperamental and didn't pull all stops out to get ready for his own show......he was lucky to have his own showing. Don't bit the hand that is feeding you, right? Looking forward to future shows.
Couldn't you have just pulled Christy aside at the gala & quietly told her you would be invoicing her rather than the tacky way you went about it? Granted, she was wrong for crashing the party. But as they say two wrongs don't make a right. You seemed to take great pleasure in badmouthing her all over town (& television). As if that weren't classless enough, you then proceeded to not only send her an invoice, but you sent it return receipt requested, requiring her signature & with pictures of her at the gala no less!!! How very petty...
We loved the show last night and are hooked! Loved your outfit at the art show it was perfect for the event! And those gold sunglasses at the luncheon-you rocked in those for sure!! We are ready for more!!
Loved last night's episode-you seem like the most level headed, hardest working person on the show! We are looking forward to the other episodes and want to see that beautiful house again and your husband and son. Thank goodness we didn't have to see too much of Crispy Rice! You are a lot of fun to watch, keep it coming!
Lea Black is my favorite MIA HW!!! She's super entertaining...funny, witty, Very Real and playful (the Art Gallery memo and wore the fun glasses and artsy outfit!!)... Can't wait to watch next week........LOVE LEA!!
I just wanted to let you know that you seem to be the most centered out of all of the housewives in Miami. Your friends and family are very lucky to have you.
And I thought your outfit was great and bold.
Best of luck and many blessings!
So glad you read all of your comments. I hate to say this, Lea but you are constantly coming off a little sanctimonious and always dishing out your opinion, slipping in a dig here and there. I don't know if you realize it but it is repellant. So what if you disapprove of how your friends act? When you hurt people they no longer care to listen to what you have to say.
I actually loved your outfit and you look totally fab. It's nice to see an accomplished, sensible and totally fun woman on a show like this! Too many floozies!
I thought you were acting really rude about the whole Cristy & your event thing! She didn't eat or even stay long! She came to show support & made a donation! Why would you go on Watch What Happens Live & dish on her so badly? That showed your lack of class! I have never even heard of you before, so just b/c you are big in Miami doesn't make you as important as you think! I thought you'd be my favorite out of the Miami girls, but I don't like the way you acted over the whole Cristy situation & then to go on Andy's show & still bad-mouth?! I know you lost me as a fan!
GET OFF THE PHONE! ... that is sooooo rude, I wouldn't allow it my children, I certainly wouldn't appreciate it from a friend. Enjoy the people you are with. Your outfit was great! You have a great big wonderful personality! Thanks for inviting us into your life!
You are by far the classiest Miami Housewife. You keep it real and you're funny. I really enjoy watching you. Team Lea all the way!!!
I too love those Golden Sunglasses so please share. I want to get a pair.
You are great on the show and I enjoy watching you.
Thank you so very much for letting us know about the memo regarding how you were asked to dress for the gallery event. Honestly, you are far too intelligent and too attractive to dress like, well...a $1,000.00 a night hooker.
Having your outfit put in the context of something 'artsy' does dismiss some of shock of seeing you in it. BTW, I loved the glasses. Next time, ignore the memo and be your own fabulous self. You are without a doubt, the most likable and inspiring housewife on this show.
You need to start implementing a plan where anyone who has not reserved 48 hours ahead, pays double at the door or over the phone.
That will encourage people to pay early.
You go, Lea!!!!!!! Love your work and that you are contributing towards the community unlike some of the other Miami housewives who like to play but not pay!!!!!!!!
I like you. I like the show. My 25 year old daughter said that you and I were just alike. I took that as a compliment! After watching you in action at the Gala, I thought you were sales and marketing talent on a stick. That is high praise from me.
Love your blogs. And hey, you are old enough and rich enough to wear what you want. Christy should watch you to see how a truly confident woman speaks and behaves. She is merely conceited. Big difference.
I LOVED your glasses, tulle and all that makes you such fun to watch. You haven't disappointed me yet. Next week I look forward to some cheers and tears. You're the favorite and only star of the show. See you next week!!!
I think you are such a positive role model. I wish every Bravo Housewife was as willing to work so hard for the needs of others. You are a lovely woman.
If you were raising millions of dollars for your chairty, you might be on your blackberry also. Besides a reality show is supposed to show your everyday life. Apparently you need to get a life yourself, then you wouldn't have time to make those kind of remarks.
Lea' we love you and love those beautiful gold shades!! You make Miami work sista'!!! Can't wait to see more of you!! Thank you for all your hard work in our community!! Hugs & love to you!!
For us Miamimen, this doesn't make sense, we all love Lea' and her husband in our community. You need to check your facts on this family!
Get your facts straight and re-view the show! The Black Gala is only one of their families charity! The Black Family supports so many other charities! Check your facts!
Your show really has my interest up... especially after we have all seen all your hard work you have done and the work you have done in the cosmetic industry over the years. We love this about our local ladies. You have always been a wonderful vision to us in Miami and so many appreciate your hard work and dedication to our community. Your personal is exceptional and we love that about you, you are a beautiful woman inside and out as we hope others can see. You keep up on your vision and style and we will follow! You go for it Lea'!! We are ready for the next episode! Okay maybe we are done with - as they say enough of "Crispy Rice" eh? Team Lea' for us!! Bravo!
Lea Black you keep all us watching for sure--- we loved your outfit for the gallery showing, you don't need to justify your style to anyone- ever!! Love the glasses, but mostly love those gold shades you rocked at the luncheon! You always seem to posses such style and grace that we all love, seems like this is a hit show and we are all ready for more!! Plus ready to see more of your fabulous Miami home and family! You definitely have a fan club in this family! Keep us intrigured for more!
Get over it... Mrs. Black and her husband has done more in the last year for their community than anyone else on the show has done in their life time, check your info! The Black's are an awesome family, be respectful and nice!
I doubt with all the things Mrs. Black had going on a priority on taking Cripsy Rice aside wasn't one of them! Get real!
We loved you Ms. Lea last night, you are a wonderful lady with much style and grace, don't listen to anyone else but yourself and fans. We are awaiting for more excitment, you are making this show work! Mostly looks like you do so much more for others than anyone else in the "Housewives" shows. We applaud you for your dedication and being yourself! For once on these shows we see someone for who they are and we applaud you for that! Keep working hard for all your beliefs! Hey and those beautiful Gucci sunglasses were awesome, but I'm sure you look great in any cheap sunglasses as well!! Keep'n it real. Take care and keep it real like you are. Kudos!
You are one "Hot" momma!! You inspire me to be myself and not care what others think or say. I love how you make ellagence look fun. You are a true shinning Star!!
Love your style. Forget the haters who comment on showing some cleavage, like no one else does it, yeah right.
Looks like you are lacking in the class area, and bad mouthing. You need to do some research yourself and see what all this family has done for Miami! Check them out!
Lea Cristy was sooo wrong for crashing and bringing 2 friends and it was obvious she did it on purpose cause she kept saying im not eating just some drinks just here to show suppport THEY SHOULD PAY ME ! anyway you should of approached her at the event and said listen im sure you brought your donation ? but its not right to show without an rsvp and why did you bring 2 friends along do they have their donations or are you paying for them? it's not Happy Hour its a charity event ! the call to Andy was too much!
Weird earlier comment about "raising money for charity has become your obsession." As if that's a bad thing! I think it's refreshing to see a Housewife doing something for people less fortunate. You have a heart and can see beyond yourself, unlike some other Housewives.....
My husband, family & friends love you Lea!! You are making the show fun and keeping it real! I admire you for all your hard work for your charity! Just think if only your other Housewife friends would contribute to this world and your community like you do... what a difference it would make!
Love seeing all your beautiful clothes, you look fabulous always! We can't wait to catch the other episodes!
I like you because you are real. You work hard. You have good priorities, like charity and being on time, instead of makeup and posturing for the cameras and whomever is watching. Can't wait to see more of how you keep things real on the show. A lot of the ladies live in dreamland.
Ms. Lea-we enjoy seeing you on the show and you seem to be a hard worker for your charity and Lea'.... thank God for the Blackberry!!! Where would we all be today w/o such a device?? After all your viewers need to be reminded this is a reality show after all! Keep working for your community and yourself!!
