Of all the housewives you are my favorite.and in many was like the majority of fabulous cuban-american women from Miami. Unlike the plastic, barbie-Cuban... you are a intelligent, self made career woman.

Hey Marysol, I wanted to tell you that your fiance' seems really nice and adores you. Don't pay any attention to what any one else say's. Unfortunately, sometimes people that are not "in love" or "happy" don't like seeing others that are. I'll bet your Mom can get to know your fiance' and let you know his intentions. When you simply shake someone's hand you can feel their spirit or soul. If they are good, you'll feel happy and at ease. If not, you'll feel confused and uneasy around them. We love your mother. Hellooo, Who is it? I almost fell out of the chair laughing. I have tons of older cuban friends and they always make me appreciate laughter. Marysol, Hello! Thank you for sharing your life with us. LOVED the visit to your mom's house. She appears to be a firecracker. I cracked up when you said that people come to your mother because she can pick up things, YET when you came to the door she asked who it was and then seemed surprised it was you even though a camera crew was in her house. And then she claimed to be clueless about Phillipe. Seeing you two interact was so sweet. Her asking you "what's wrong with me?" and then saying she is not a victorian lady made me smile. You are very lucky to have a funny, fun loving mother. The two of you seem to have a wonderful relationship. Seriously that part of the show was my favorite.

Marysol, you are my FAV of the Miami housewives! And I'm hoping you can help me! My great-uncle was a HUGE socialite in Coral Gables/Miami Beach back in the 60's/70's, very rich. His name was David E. Hawkins (We called him "Uncle Buddy"). When he passed away in 1979, he was living on Collins Ave. in a condo. My parents cared for him in whenever he became ill. They would bring him back to NC. Before living in Miami Beach, he lived with his wife Margaret in Coral Gables. "Uncle Buddy" had SEVERAL huge photo albums filled with photos of him with many different people at formal events, many celebrities. I would love to know more about his glamorous life. Can you PLEASE ask some of the older socialites in the area if they remember David "Buddy" Hawkins? My parent inherited most of what he had because they did take care of him. In his things, were LOTS of photo albums filled with 8x10 photos of Uncle Buddy at formal events, always in a tuxedo, with different people, many celebrities. I was only 14 when he passed away in 1979. I would really love to know more about him and his lifestyle! He ran away from home in NC at a very early age and changed his name. I always admired him. I've not been able to get answers from family. After Aunt Margaret died, he became a bit of a playboy. When he would come up for a visit, he would bring a "girlfriend". And so help me, when I saw your mother on the show, I honestly thought she was one of them! But then, when thinking of the time span, I realized that there's no way she could be old enough. This would have been back in the mid 70's! It would be SO great if you or your mom would know someone who could give me ANY info on my "Uncle Buddy"! Either way, you'll always be my favorite housewife and I'll love your Mom!
