And then Karent’s dad getting sick and going to the hospital while she felt stranded there. Karent is so close to her parents, and she should be admired for how good she is to them and how she cares for them. Thank goodness that this story ended well, and that she was able to get off the island despite the weather and he's now doing great.
So it was an interesting weekend filled with a little bit of everything and a whole lot of nothing.
Things to think about this week:
Is it easier to speak to people to their face until everyone feels they've been heard? Or easier to speak behind everyone’s back and hope the gossip doesn't get heard?
What things in life are worth one compromising truth and goodness for? Or if we just speak the truth and spread the goodness, can everyone win?
