Season 1
To say this episode was an emotional roller coaster is an understatement. We go from Elsa threatening to hit a drag queen with her pocketbook to Alexia's heartbreaking breakdown. I'm still emotionally drained! Nonetheless, I'll try and focus my psychic energies to make some predictions about drama to come.
Perhaps one of the biggest takeaways this week is Alexia needs to throw more of these Venue parties, because that event turned into a whirlwind of confrontation. Let's begin with Elsa and Elaine -- I felt as if I was watching slapstick comedy. Elsa delivers a great speech defending Marysol and accusing Elaine of being too obsessed with walking on "that filthy red rag" (while also saying her dress is a filthy rag). But it was all in vain, because Elaine wasn't able to catch most of it. When Elaine tries to explain that she didn't understand, Elsa doesn't understand what she didn't understand. I was waiting for someone to ask who's on first at this point. Finally Elsa tries to storm off and as Elaine offers to help her up she ends up falling right back down into her seat, at which point Elaine makes her exit.
I have to say, while I'm glad the argument ended peacefully, I was kind of hoping to see a pocketbook fight. Oh well!
Prediction: Although I doubt it will happen, I'm desperately hoping for more Elsa/Elaine interactions.
Don't mess with Mama Elsa? She couldn't even get off that couch let alone hit anyone with her pocketbook.
Lea, darling you're the reason I watch the show. Class all the way with a touch of good humor. What's the problem with these over sensitive-plastic barbie dolls that surround you? You are the program! Keep going love, you are funny and glamorous!
I wish they would quit showing so much of Marysol and her Mom. I can't watch it. It is not entertaining in the least. Lea is the only reason I watch and she has only limited time on the program.
mb1234567 I couldn't agree more! The Mom is boring and Marysol is a weak link in the show. I get up and do other things while those two are on.
mb1234567 I couldn't agree more. Those two do not add anything of interest to the show. And Elsa...poor thing always appears to be drunk and on medication. I hope the show sees that she is very sad and not entertaining. She needs to be in a home with around the clock care.
Karent,
I believe what you did by mentioning Frankie to Alexia was not the smartest move. You have to try and put yourself in her position and think about everything she has been through and continues to go through with her son. He was very, very sick and Audriana was right by saying it was a "low blow." Not everything is about you so you have to know that not just showing your pearly whites is going to get you what you want. That is a very touchy and PERSONAL problem that Alexia is going through so just worry about your own life and give her some space and peace so that she can take care of her son.
i believe the show should loose elsa and jhoanna and replace them with elaine that would be more interenting
@kiki.pineda. I agree about Elsa for sure. She appears to be drunk or on something. I can't imagine she or her daughter want to see that filmed. I mean she even fell during an episode!
kiki.pineda.1 Throw out Marysol and her Mom and we have a show worth watching. They are dead-weight. More Lea! Gee Whiz, Lea is the center of the universe in Miami.

"Marysol and accusing Elaine of being too obsessed" I only wish Marysol and Mom had a clue! Waste of good time and boring those two. What am I missing here? Is there something fascinating about a dependent child and her broom-stick flying mother? At least Elaine is entertaining. The depressing duo are causing long lapses in enjoyable TV.
