Alexia's Dream Closet

Alexia dishes on her cwalk-in closet aspirations and Lea's last blog post.

By Alexia Nepola

Hi everyone,

Hope you’re enjoying Season 3 thus far, thank you for watching and for your comments and ongoing support.

After reading Lea's blog last week, and how could I not as it was dedicated to me, I was taken aback. Those who know me know it's not in my nature to throw digs -- unlike her. I was responding to an interview question where I was asked where I stood with Lea. At that moment I had not seen or spoken to Lea since the reunion, and furthermore, I had heard from Adriana that she was making those comments about Peter. We hash it out in a later episode, where this issue is addressed.

Furthermore, the only reason that this is even a topic of conversation is because Peter is my son and he is part of my story. I've been brave enough to share this with all of you in the hopes of helping other mothers and families who face trials and tribulations with their kids, not for her to bring it up and make it her story. I was happy to finally be able to get Marysol to go for a jog at the park with me. I think this was a good way for her to disconnect from all the things going on in her life with Elsa and work and maybe even meet a man. (FYI: A lot of hot guys jog at South Pointe.) I can relate with what Marysol is going through because of my experience with Frankie. I'm glad she and I have the friendship we do, where she feels comfortable around me and knows I can guide her through this difficult period in her life.

Having a custom walk-in closet has always been a dream of mine, but for some reason or another I've never had one. One of the reasons, besides having a busy schedule and all the bumps in the road during the past two years, was that at this moment getting into major construction for a walk-in closet would just be crazy.

Originally my plans were to close my terrace and my master bedroom and turn that into a walk-in closet, but I didn't want to focus my time and energy into a construction project right now when there are more important things going on in my life. I did need a temporary fix to have some kind of organization, so my good friend Javier Soto, a top interior designer in Miami, along with his partner, Jessica, decided to give me a hand and come up with a brilliant temporary solution. I was OK with the quick fix in efforts to steer me away from yet again getting my dream closet, but in the end I came out with my very own chic shoe boutique showcasing my collection of shoes, and even my room got a facelift! Once again, Herman gets his way....he's scared of making me a bigger closet in fear that I'll continue filling it up with more shoes, bags, and dresses. I really enjoyed meeting up with Marysol and Adriana because of my passion for fashion and the fact that Gabriella Arango is not only a bridal designer but also an amazing couture designer, from whom I buy plenty of dresses. Even though you can't really appreciate how much fun we had and how much closer that moment brought us, it was great catching up with the girls. It feels good to be part of such a special moment in Adriana's life. I'm glad that she's finally taking that next step and celebrating it with her dream wedding.

Hope you all enjoyed the episode, and don't forget to tune in next week for more!
