So, here we are again.
OK, before everyone goes nuts on my Lauren...Yes, she knows what the seven continents are. You have to understand Christopher, he is a b*** buster! That is one of the things everyone is going to have to get used to about the Manzo's - we have a VERY dry sense of humor, so take everything we say with a grain of salt. The laughter we share together as a family is an integral part of who we are. I will admit that one of Lauren's concerns about going to cosmetology school was that her hands were going to hurt. We laughed at the time thinking she was crazy, but guess what, it seems that hand pain is a common problem among the students. Who knew?
I hope you all enjoyed my little puppy, Austin. He is twelve years old and a very important member of our family. However, it is not common practice for Austin to be present at the dinner table eating from a fork. I don't even remember that, truth be told. But, I have to admit, he looked so damn cute, it made me laugh. I'm just grateful that it was Austin and not one of the Shepherds...that would've been a little much!
Hello Caroline. I admire your dedication to your family and hope to some day be as good a mother to my boys as you are. Love you. Love the show. It is the best and realist out of all the others. You are a cool chick.
Caroline, Your terrific..... It's nice to see you and your family so real. I love the show and your family is great, it's like watching my own. All the other girls are too funny! The only one who drives me crazy is Danielle, I really hope all of it is just an act for the show. If not I think she is a real fruit loop. Keep away from the trouble maker........... Can't wait to see up coming episodes..
where should i start i love you you remind me of my mom dont take no bias from no one very protective of your family keep up the wonderful job you doing god bless you xoxo
I LOVE that your house is filled with laughter.. I don't think you guys are being hard on Lauren. You didn't force her to go to college right after graduation and she has been working at the Brownstone. You and Al appear to be very close and supportive of your children. Tell AL not to worry about his "stupid" comment - right before that he said she had a lot of common sense which makes her smart! I think you guys are great!!! I also loved that you are always willing to help pitch in and get work done without complaining - Dina is lucky to have you for a sis.
Don't worry, I totally got what youtr daughter meant on the show. You ca see that you guys have a special sense of humor between you guys. You have a very nice family.
Caroline, please tell Dina to get down from that cloud. The fact that she now lives a comfortable life has a husband who is NEVER home doesnt give her authority to be-little others. Danielle just like Dina has the same in between the legs. Dina needs some sisterly love from you.
I have to say I really like Caroline, what you see with her is what you get. I feel she is the real thing.... There is nothing phony about her. Caroline is a good mother who has a great relationship with her kids who others would be jealous of. I think Caroline is the mother in this whole group of ladies. Danielle, Danielle, Danielle what can I say about her?????? or better yet where do we begin, I guess we all will have to wait and see. Dina is a real serious person when it comes to her work ethics and maybe some of us can learn a thing or two about that. Theresa LOVES her girls and I think would do anything for them. Jacqueline good luck with the new baby she is expecting.
Hi Caroline,
You are my favorite housewife by far! I love how close your family is. My husband and I are raising two small boys, and hope for that same relationship as they get older. Love the show! Take Care, and good luck with the rest of the season.
Caroline--
I love love LOVE you and your family! There needs to be more women out there like you!!! I also LOVE Lauren! I did go to beauty school and she is right you hands hurt like H#@L! But like Lauren I want to be a mother and wife first in life and I understand where she is coming from. It seems like that way of thinking has been lost and sometimes you feel lost for not wanting the career first. You have a beautiful family, with great heads on thier shoulders and great role models for parents. Bravo to you! *Mwah, Mwah*
Caroline, I love seeing your family interact on the show. I was raised in a large family, and you have to be honest to keep it real. Keep on looking out and protecting your family, because it seems that people have gotten away from that. Your son needs to be a comedian, he had me laughing so hard last night. I love this show because you guys keep it real!
I absolutely adore the show!!! It has given me a new meaning of watching Housewives for the better! I love how close you and your family are , it is so great to watch how your kids mean the wrold to you and your hubby and how very obviously the two of you are still in love!
Carolyn:
Ok, let me start with this...all four of my daughter's are madly in love with your sons! They tune into the show with me, just to catch a glimpse of your son's! Too much! Anyhow, one of my daughters is on her way to cosmetology school. During the backyard scene where all of you are encouraging Lauren to attend cosmetology school, my daughter and I were like, wow-that sounds familiar! Our family has had the same discussion, countless times with our Brenda! I'm loving the whole family loyalty sense of your show. The sisterly love you and Dina share. Your solid as a rock relationship with your husband and children is beautiful. The family business is awesome. The Manzo Family has made their mark!
Caroline: I love to watch the show and you and your family are great.Post that recipe I loved watching you cook with your daughter. Also you must be so proud of Dina with her foundation.I have a son who has had cancer twice since age 9 once brain and once Melanoma. It is so nice that you all want to help people who have had to go through this. It warmed my heart more than words could describe.Thank you for your help. It means alot to the parents and children, My son was treated at Long Island Jewish and Miami Childrens and whenever someone reached out it meant so much. He is 21 and doing well now. we keep our fingers crossed. You and your sister keep you hearts in what is important. You are wonderfuland beautiful inside and outside.
OMG. Caroline! I absolutely adore your family and you are wonderful! I think that this cycle of the Housewives' shows is going to be my favorite. I truly like all of you women, Dina, and Jaqueline, in particular. You are all so beautiful and joyous! It seems that you and your family have a wonderful time together and I would love to party with you all! I look forward to watching more NJ episodes!
I think you are fabulous, funny, and real. Thank you for bringing humor to my Tuesday nights. I look forward to seeing more of your family.
Caroline, I envy you and your family's warmth and love and closeness. Everyone should have that! The dry sense of humor is hilarious and I look forward to hearing much more. Do you think you will ever write a cookbook? I would love to have the recipe for the sausage and potato meal you cooked in this episode, it looked super delicious!
Hello Caroline, i want to say Congratulation to Lauren on Graduation.wonderful.i know your family is very proud. now to some things i need to say...who is this woman Danielle that likes to push buttons.i dont care for her and like i said before on your blog she has Mystery to her.she's very cling like trying to fit in anywhere she can where people will like her.does she really think Dina is really going to be her freind.not!!!lol.and danielle is to close to Jacqueline.where does she get off trying to be mommy angel to Jacqueline daughter.Danielle is way to much in the family business.Danielle needs to know her place.cause Jacqueline needs postive energy now.and what happen to Dina and Jacqueline friendship and tightness.and why does Danielle keep saying Dina is threat by her cause she knows way to much about her .wow is she stupid or what.you watch her mama she is bad news with capital B.
You and your family are so enjoyable to watch. Laughter is a huge part of my household, as you can see it is in yours. You totally remind me of myself, as my family comes first. You enjoy your children, and recognize that each is an individual with individual talents. You are an amazing woman, and a great addition to Bravo.
Caroline, I absolutely LOVE you. I totally relate to your family's sense of humor. Christopher just cracks me up. I love all of you. You're the kind of family I always wanted lol. Can't wait to see the rest of the season!
Yes, Caroline allow your son to open up another version of the "BADA BING" strip club from sopranos, and watch your husband not come home at night when he's looking at women that look better than you, and with better bodies, and ten times younger and taking care of other women on the side. Be serious there is no such thing as a classy strip club, instead of your son making mommie proud opening up a classy srip club and car wash, we know that he sure would make daddy proud. The other ladies who does'nt get to spend alot of time with their husbands as it is, they really won't see them once your son goes into that type of business. Teresa won't have to worry about boobies, cause "Juicy" will see all the boobies he need to see before he gets home. And Dina won't have that one night aweek that she and her husband set aside for dae night, cause they will all meet up at the "BADA BING BADA BOOM".
You boys are soooooo cute, love them. Your awesome, your family seems to be very loving and happy. Good luck on the show!
I wondered what you you thought of Jill and Bethenny's blog being critical of the kids of the Housewives. Calling them spoiled etc. I think commenting on the behavior of kids should be off limits, unless you are related to them. But the Jill seems to have the need to be critical of everyone's parenting.
Could you please tell me where you son got the t-shirt he was wearing at the dinner table that just said 'yo'. Thanks. Love the show.
This show is too much like watching the Housewives of Sopranos! This show is not about family unity or bonds!!!! I knew it was going to be boring the moment I realized you were all related in some way!!!!
Although I must say out of the other pathetic hyenas, I like you the most. You are a good mom and really seem to love where you are at in life. Just please, please, please, drop the Soprano, Italian crap already!!!!! If I want to watch Italians go at it I will rent the Godfather part I and II!!!!!!!
Your thick as theives comment really annoyed me. Just what the hell does that mean. Also, get over yourself about I need to check people out that are going to be friends. You would equally tell someone to go to hell if theyu insinuated they would need to do a background check on you before they could become friends. Get over yourself. Spare the attitude.
ciao,
Alberto
I love to watch scenes of you with your family! My mom died almost four years ago, and my brother and I have both moved far from home, so we no longer have many of the kind of get togethers that your family has. It makes me smile to see your happy family and the love that you all have for one another. I wish all the students I teach had loving, supportive families like yours!
Hey Caroline! I think you are Great, never no need to explain anything about your kids I love watching you and I think you have the perfect family I'm from and Italian Family And we are the same way Family FIRST! I always laugh and have a great time watching your family thanks =) Kierra xoxo
BORING! I agree with the other poster, drop the mafia act. You guys are corny. The most down-to-earth one is Jacqualine (sp?).
Hey Caroline, I am a fan! I love the way your family interacts. I could imagine your family get togethers when everyone is all togther(It would seem like a blast). Your daughter Lauren seems bright and I'm sure with your guidance and your family ethics she will succeed. I agree we got to believe in and support our children.
Just wondered what you thought of Jill being critical of the parenting style of Jacq. and Teresa. Blogging in a negative way of one's children should be off limits.
The whole show is ruined by you, your sister, Dina, and even your sister-in-law. You're like a feudal family that every one else is servile toward. You don't treat any outsiders like equals. They have to marry in to get an ounce of respect.
Hi Caroline, I think your son Albie is a doll. I am a very hard working girl from CT. I am 29 and realize he is younger, but I was wondering if he is in a relationship. I'm sure you're getting similar questions as more and more people watch your show, but it's worth a shot!
Caroline, I just think you are awesome. Wish I had a mama like you growin' up. You are just a loving, fiercly loyal, protective and funny lady. And the dry sense of humor and sarcasm? LOVE IT, bring it on!
Caroline,
You are hands down my favorite housewife- following what other viewers have said-I wish I had a mom like you growing up- love your sense of humor and your dedication to your family...
Interesting Show some of the comments are quite amusing. The Soprano's minus the violence. Unfortunately the women might have street smarts but some books smarts might help them.
CAROLINE, IT'S NICE FAMILEY TAKES CARE OF FAMILEY,BUT YOU ALL SEEM TO FORGET WHERE YOU STARTED FROM. SO FAR I HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU BETTER THEN THE NEXT PERSON EXCEPT YOU HAVE MONEY, BUT MONEY DOES NOT MAKE THE PERSON. SHARON LEE
LOVED the scene with your hubby and kids when discussing Lauren's future plans!! Sense of humor will take you a long way...i like the fact that you and your kids don't try to act like their someone else infront of the cameras. And for the viewer who thought you didn't welcome friends other than family members....HELLO!!!!! Teresa is not family!!!!! Danielle soooooo reminds me of a sneaky ex-bestfriend i used to have. All i have to say about her is JEALOUSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My brother and family moved to bergen county several years ago and I have to tell you I have learned to really love jersey. You are the type of person that makes me love it. You rock!! I love you and your family...thanks for allowing us to come in to your life every week!!
One more thing..i am the oldest of 5!!! Totally understand the protectiveness you show towards your family. It gets me in trouble sometimes too because i am very vocal with my feelings. My thoughts are if you didn't love them you wouldn't do it!!! Don't change a thing!!!!
Caroline-when u said you were an old fashion Italian family i almost peed my pants. Old fashion Italians cook Italian pastrys, pasta, gnocchi, italian pizza(not greek)etc. I haven't seen u cook o0ne thing that was Italian. Also Italians are very very book smart and when your kids get older they usually open an Italian food restaurant. This is what i call old fashioned Italians. P.S.-I liked the shirt with lamour across your boobs and pink across your butt very mature.
I love your family. The scene on your deck was priceless. Anyone on the East Coast will get your sense of humor and know you weren't being mean. I love that about you all. I actually called my friend and said I would totally love to be in your family. You're family is great and I am envious how close you are.
Caroline, Thank you for putting yourself out there as a proud momma and wife. I am 32 years old and have a beautiful toddler girl and wonderful husband. I think not enough women put their families before their careers and I too am "a throw back" as my girlfriends call me. Thank you for putting SAHM mommyhood on the front burner for the world to see!

OMG Caroline! I love how you and Dina are so proud of your italian heritage because I am too!!!!! Go Italian Mommas! Big, Bold, Loud, Beautiful and Italian, gotta love us.
