The Real Housewives of New Jersey
Dina Manzo

One word...mortified.

I may be a bitch at times...I own that. A LIAR I AM NOT. After the reunion show I will post the truth. Let me just make it clear I was NEVER trying to deny the fact that I had something to do with the book. As you could see very clearly in past episodes, I talk about the book and admit discussing it with friends and family. Who the hell wouldn't? I was trying to tell Danielle at the dinner that I never showed it around town, which I NEVER did. How could you show something that you NEVER had possession of? We will discuss this after next week.

All I have to say is of all the things I try to instill in my daughter, NEVER LYING is way up there on my list. You could ask her...I always say if you make a mistake, own it. Don't ever lie, the truth always comes out in the end. I despise liars and think it is one of the most unflattering traits a person could possess. Enough said.

And Bethenny - there are other things in life than promoting a business. If you "paid attention" (Teresa's favorite words...LOL) you would realize that I have a foundation for sick children to promote. Sometimes it's not always about making money. Maybe you should make a donation with some of your SkinnyGirl money to Project Ladybug as an apology. Again, enough said. : )

For those of you who have asked about my dress, shoes, and necklace, my dress is by Alice and Olivia, my shoes are by my favorite Christian Louboutin and my Sapphire necklace is by Zenjewelz.com.

I am from Australia - tomorrow night they're going to air the "table flipping" episode - I am addicted! My life is void from this crazy drama so i love watching it on T.V. -I just have to say, you're my favourite!!!! I think you are beautiful inside and out. You are a great mother and you have such a warm persona. '
I think you handled the Danielle situation with dignity and grace... if it were me... hmmmm; mum always said, if you've got nothing nice to say......

Good luck with everything in the future....

I have also read from Eckhart Toll (Power of Now
and more) I completely connect with it, however my family poked fun until he was accepted into the almighty Oprah book club! You can't read a book and as you say "own it"
drop it off to someone and expect a Thankyou. I'm sure your response now is "I never professed to own it" uhh...You have made it quite clear that you read it and are now living differently. Why not just live it and not say where the change came from? Promote the book if you want but don't try to change people with it...start with changing youself and the rest will follow

Hi Dina: I just saw the Reunion parts 1 & 2 tonight and all I can say is wow! some heavy duty shnit!!! I feel so bad for you. It seems like you are the target here and that is not fair. I always say: "I can forgive but I can not forget" Words are stronger than physical pain and hurt worse and thats why people tend to choose to battle their way through fights with words rather than getting physical. One day you will look back at all this and say " wow what nonsense that was" But, unfortunately it will be a memory you cannot forget. So sorry for you. Take care and God bless you and your family and TRUE friends. Good luck with the next season.

Dina
It is sooooo clear in EVERY episode, beginning to end, what kind of person you are, and what kind of person Danielle is.
I wouldnt even bother trying to explain it to anyone. If they were
unable to see it, they are just simply ignorant!!
Love you guys, love the show!!
God Bless you all!!!!!

Dina-You are awesome and don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise. If I lived in New Jersey I would want to be friends with you. You may seem bitchy, but some people can't take people who are honest and tell it how it is....can't wait for season 2!!! Jennifer in California

HI DINA!!!! Have you read the second book? I believe it is called Awakening Your Life's Purpose..or something to that affect..LOL. I also read The Power of Now and then followed up with his second book and like you, they completely changed my life. The way I lived, loved and took each breath. However, like you, a situation in my life caused me to behave in a way I hadn't since reading those books, and I was aghast! The most important thing to realize is that you recognized the behavoir you exhibited as something you didn't like and CHANGED it. You were AWARE. That, to me, was the BEST lesson learned!!! It seems like you are back to fully enjoying your life and you are where you need to be. I am so happy. Stay positive. You crack me up:) I am also a self professed " cat-nut"!!!! I LOVE my cats and Grandma Whiskers( nice name!!) One thing I noticed throughout the show that I am not sure many people realized(or payed attention to because so many people are DRAWN to DRAMA)...your family laughs from the heart. Lexie is the silliest and most self assured young lady who always has a smile on her face. You should be VERY proud of that. Most children mimic their environment that they live and if Lexie is smiling and gigling and happy in every interview she gives then it most certainly says something about you. Best of Luck to you. Kate
