I think you are great Dina. The other housewives need to take some lessons from you on being a family woman.
I thought it was appropriate that I come back to blog for this episode. I have been invited to keep blogging throughout the entire season and believe me I was very tempted to do so, but I did leave the show for a reason. I felt that it was hard for me to write an honest blog without getting sucked back into the drama, so I thought it was best to just keep my mouth shut. I am trying so hard to tame the wise ass in me, but watching some of the episodes the ammunition was just so tempting. I actually had to talk myself down from some very funny tweets at times! Oh well, as I said, I am a work in progress as we all are!
This episode brought back some very nice memories. I was really so touched when Teresa asked me to be little Audriana's godmother, these are the times I am actually so grateful that we had cameras following us around capturing some of these precious moments. There were some really special touches to the christening that weren't explained. That beautiful vintage-looking baby carriage that help Audriana's christening gown and all her other little presents was a gift from my mom when I gave birth to Lexi. Later you saw us trying to get the baby to smile at the party when we put her in the carriage for photos. I have a whole photo shoot of Lexi as a newborn in that carriage as well! I love the start of traditions like this, I can't wait for the day that I take pictures of my little grandchildren in that very same carriage. Ahem... that better not be anytime soon!
I had the baby's christening gown made and my Mom and I took the time to embellish the entire gown with beautiful lace trim adorned with Swarovski Crystals. Some friends came over to help me put the finishing touches on the gown one night and we sat around my dining room table with a bottle of wine and some great Teresa stories and laughed our asses off. The finished gown was so detailed and actually really breathtaking. Little Audriana was the only thing that could make the gown even more beautiful than it was, she looked like a gorgeous mini-bride.
That brings us to the mini-wedding. Did you see how fabulous the centerpieces were? I need to thank Morningside Greenhouse in Haledon, NJ for helping me bring my vision of sugar and spice to fruition. I drove them crazy getting the perfect shades of pink and cream roses, feathers and pearls that adorned both the flower arrangements and the cake. I also want to give my girls at Designer Affair a shout out for all their hard work that day and the days leading up to the event. I worked those girls to the bone! LOL. Not only did everything from the place cards to the table numbers sparkle, but they were also in charge of overseeing Marie Antoinette and her skirt of sushi. (By the way, how amazing was she? I love adding touches like that to my events, they are always a WOW factor and the guests LOVE it.) I was at the church doing my godmother duties while my girls made sure everything was in place ready to go at the Brownstone. I'm glad that I decided relaunch Designer Affair, I am very passionate about design and I am so glad that I found a crew of girls that I could trust running my events. For more info on our events go to designeraffair.com.
I think you are great Dina. The other housewives need to take some lessons from you on being a family woman.
It was nice to see you with the other ladies but sad because you stepped out of the show. I understand you and I would have done the same thing truly! Your daughter is so cute does she look like you or your husband? and can i just say that i am on team dina! take care and much success to you!
Dina, I had to post a comment to thank you and your family. In a good many reality tv shows you do not see full-figured beautiful women who are comfortable and confident with their bodies as you and your family are. Thank you for being an inspiration to all women struggling with confidence and security in their bodies! You will be greatly missed on this show!
DINA I MISSED SEEING YOU ON THE SHOW WHEN YOU LEFT.AS CAROLINE WOULD SAY (about danniell)its just going to get crazy. now that d.s. is gone YOU COULD COME BACK WITH OUT THE DRAMA!! I WILL MISS YOU VERY MUCH SO COME BACK TO THE SHOW ITS NOT THE SAME WITHOUT YOU.

Dina you gotta come back.. make them get rid of danielle and bring your wonderful self back with your family .... i loved watching the 4 of yall together as friends and as family... your a wonderful person keep your head up your amazing
Dina i think maybe you should listen to your big sis because she will alway's be there for you.Friend's may come and go but you'll alway's have Caroline.Just becareful with Danielle.Lisa Beaty Topeka,KS
Dina, I did miss you, and I do not agree with my fellow blogger. No, Danielle is definitely not perfect, in fact, she's down right mean, and fake. She started alot of drama with that family and I promise you, she will not stop. She loves all the attention with her plastic looking self. I luv you Dina, and I don't blame you for not wanting any part of the drama. Stay true to you babygirl, I luv ya!
Dina is married to Tommy, Caroline is married to Albert. Tommy and Albert are brothers, who own the BrownSTONE not BrownSHOES :~)
Dina, I gotta say you are a real hypocrite, you claim to be this spiritual mother, be true about what you are. Spiritual people do not gossip and intentionally set out to hurt others. Spiritual people are honest people, if they have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything. Danielle is definitely not perfect but atleast she did not let her sister take the fall for her. We in South Africa definitely did not miss you and would be not be happy to see you come back.
who is dina's husband and who is caroline's husband as I'm not sure who's husband owns brownshoes.
i'm dying to know!
May I just say - you seem like such a lovely person and thank you so much for filming the show for as long as you did! I cannot imagine having cameras follow me around or my family! Crikey, you must have a ton of patience to have done that.. I wish you continued success on your endeavors, especially with Project Ladybug. Cancer is a truly an awful disease and no one ever knows who it will strike next and by helping to raise awareness of it, you are doing a good thing. You know I was gonna ask where you shop, because I like your sense of style, but somehow it seems like a trival question after talking about Cancer. Anyway, God bless you and your lovely family!
Now that Danielle's gone please come back! Your my family's favorite housewife and you will be greatly missed if you don't comeback!
Spiritual side ~ Dear Dina, Thank you for staying graceful in the difficult situation that evolved on the show .. I am touched by your sincerity in your path of eastern spiritual wisdom so I thought of sharing this Osho quote with you. The high emotions and anger that I witnessed on the reunion show (without your presence) made me think of this healing quote ~
Osho on the wisdom of Peace over Conflict ~
“One moment it was there, another moment it is gone. One moment we are here, and another moment we have gone. And for this simple moment, how much fuss we make! How much violence, ambition, struggle, conflict, anger, hatred, just for this small moment! Just waiting for the train in a waiting room on a station, and creating so much fuss: fighting, hurting each other, trying to possess, trying to boss, trying to dominate – all that politics. And then the train comes and you are gone forever.”
Touched by your beauty, Dina, inside and out - The peacemakers are a blessing to our world ..Metta ~ Omshanti ~
Please come back now that word is Danielle will not be back. We have all missed you, as have the other wives on the show. Please?
Hi Dina, Please let us know about the dress for the Christening & the infamous diner, the on with the rossetes and strapless. You Rock! Or if you would like to sell them. what size do you wear IF you don't mind.
Warmest Regards, Laura
My daughter (22 yrs old) and I were chatting the other day and said how gorgeous you are and we miss you on the show. You are a great role model of young girls out there, you are very sweet and holistic and would love to see you come back to the show. We would rather see you on the show instead of Danielle and Teresa because they are terrible role models for wivies and mothers and maybe that's what the show producers want because of the ratings but we need you!!!
You were always my favorite housewife and I was heartbroken when you left the show, even though I completely understood your reason for leaving. Now that Danielle has been cut out of the show, like the cancer that she is, I ask that you PLEASE come back! You have a huge following of ladies that love having you in our living rooms, bringing smiles to our faces each week when we get to steal away from all of our commitments, for our little bit of "Mommy Time"! I love the fact that you are so real and there is definately something missing since you left the show. Hugs and blessings to you and yours.
Dina come back we miss you. I think this next season should be special, everyone will be in the healing phase after the insanity went past...Calm and happy I think.
The show needs your balance and interests.
Hello Dina: First of all, you are greatly missed on the show because I thought you were great on it, and I love your personality. I do understand why you decided to leave because Danielle could drive a saint to drink, and I realize that peace and tranquility are things you really value in your life, and you sure weren't getting that being harrassed by that venomous person. I wish you and all you love the very best, and give Grandma Wrinkles a hug for me. Love and hugs to you, Lexi, and your husband Tommy. Patty Williams
I just wanted to ask dina would you think about coming back to the show now that danielle has left? I love you and the fam, you are a TRUE defination of a lady and class!! I miss you ..lol
Theres nothing wrong with Teresa or Dana. They've been put into situations dealing with a person so far out there. There's no guide book on what to do when you're faced with someone like Danielle. Your first response may not be the best choice but lets not forget what provoked their response. Danielle seems to enjoy messing with people. Did you listen to her interviews? She said those things with a smile on her face. Watch the reruns. In her own disturbing expression "Pay ATTention PLEASE" that in it's self. Nuff Said...
Excuse me; Dina was always a lady -- Danielle was a monster and I don't know how they could be as good to her as they were. I'm glad she's gone -- good riddance to a "piece of work."
Dina I did not like you last year at all but this year you appeared to be a true lady and I love that part. With Danielle you guys bullied up on her and she became defensive. Put yourself in her shoes, everyone has a past so why judge somebody for something they did 2 decades ago. That wasn't fair. I hope you return to the show and maybe Therese can follow in your footsteps about how to act like a true lady.
Dina, How did you go about finding an energist? And where did you get the fertility bracelet? You are so cool, I hope you come back to the show!
Dana I'm really hoping you'll be back next season. With you, Caroline and Teresa it would be a great show.
If you were truly kind and compassionate you would not have debased Danielle when you met her in season one. She is such a hangdog abused kind of person, didn't you see that? You're supposed to be the sensitive one, no?
You instigated all the drama in Season One with cruel judgements and words, and let your bully sister Caroline have a field day with it. You hide behind your tough family. How do you sleep at night?
Dina i love and miss you on the show you were my favorite from the start. i wish i could meet you! im 13 and all my friends watch the show its a shame you left cause you were our favorite but at least you had a good motive anyway we love and miss you alot. - love your new york friend Kateri
Dina I totally respect you for leaving the circus early. That spokes volumes for your character and integrity. Good for you. As for Danielle...you were absolutely right to cut that cancer out of your life.
DINA, don't listen to PUUUULEEEEZE. Whoever that was doesnt know what they are talking about. Danielle was the true trouble maker. She didnt know when to let go or leave alone. I do miss you. You were great on the show. And I think you made the wise choice in leaving the show. Even though i didn't want to see you leave. It was for the best. Because everyone just fed into her craziness.
I so hope with the news that Danielle is finally gone from the show, that you will return. Please say you will, you were greatly missed.
dina i absolutely love you! as does everyone else. i picked up that book the power of now and it really did wonders when i was down in a place i thought id never be able to escape. God bless you and your family! I know we all wish you'd come back to the show! Or at least get a spin off show so we can see more of that positive energy! xo xo
Dina, we NEED you and your CLASS back on RHONJ!!! The best parts of the show have always been the 'family' moments; seeing you and Caroline interact with respect and love is a lesson in the depth of family.
Now that you have relaunched your event design, we would LOVE to see more of your events next season! The baptism was flawless!!! Show us more!!
Much love, and a silent prayer that you will come back......
Same as everone MISS you please consider coming back if Danielle is gone-- she may not want to she may have a singing career !!!!!!???!!!
Like you best of all the Housewives. Hope you get your own spin off show! The New Jersey Housewives show has gotten too silly. Miss you on the show though. You are the most beautiful of all! God bless.
Dina, you are my fave haousewife. Despite that you are the most beautiful, you are also the nicest. I hope I see you perhaps on another kind of show. You seem very talented in many areas of your life. The New Jersey Housewives show has gotten silly with all the fighting and it was smart of you to stay out of it. God bless and hope to see you again on TV. Thanks so much.
I have to know where you got the dress that you wore to Audrianna's Christening? It was the off the shoulder dress! Love it! You have style!
HOPE you STAY GONE..........YOU AND CAROLINE started ALL OF THIS.......At least you had the smarts to run away...........bye bye TROUBLE MAKER.
I miss seeing you on the show. I wish you never left. You and Caroline are my favorite. Your gorgeous! maybe that is whay cetain people have problems on the show. Hopefully you will come back!!! Stay gorgeous!!
