Margaret Josephs stands behind her signature hairstyle. "People love the pigtails," she told The Lookbook in the clip above. "They're charming, disarming ... They work on me ... They're making quite the hoopla!" And, Margaret's right about that! Her pigtails have made such an impression on The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans, she even inspired one fellow 'Wife's mom to try the cute style for herself.
On August 19, Melissa Gorga took to Instagram to show off the instantly iconic snapshot of what happened when her mother, Donna Marco, met the MacBeth Collection founder. "When your mom comes over in pigtails to hang with [Margaret Josephs]," she wrote. In the photo, Melissa strikes a poolside pose with Margaret and her mama — and the latter is actually a dead ringer for Margaret!
Not only did Melissa's mom wear pigtails; she also nailed Margaret's exact method for wearing them: tie low enough to let your earrings show.
