Thank God, common sense at last, i am finding RHONJ harder and harder to watch, the behaviour of all the ladies leaves a lot to be desired, they may have a downer on Danielle but from what i have witnessed the ladies are bad excuses for mothers, way worse than anything Danielle has done. Caroline talks like some Mafioso Godmother, Theresa acts like trailer trash and Jacquline is raising a monster in Ashley, the kid will either end up in jail or dead beside a road. The only scene that i could relate to in any way was between Caroline and Albie, as mothers we could all relate to the lioness that Caroline became, he husbands response was also relatable as i could imagine that scene being played out in millions of homes, it actually brought a tear to my eyes. For goodness sake lay off Danielle the behaviour you ladies have shown says more about you than it does her.

RHNJ will be nothing without Danielle because she made that show. Danielle had the most exciting moments.

Saw you and Simon in Asbury Park last weekend ...got so excited I didn't actually say hi ...you were walking to the hotel and I was actually going to the bathroom on the boardwalk, with my married daughter ...I said
'OMG ...KATE ...its SIMON AND ALEX ' ....lol ...she was mortified and I got my feelings terribly hurt because you didn't say hello ! So nice to see even though its Asbury Simon wasn't wearing his Speedo , lol ! You guys are much more beautiful in person ! Isn't Asbury Park beautiful ? I have had the good fortune of being a REAL housewife in Manasquan for most of my adult life ....but love going up to AP for the day ! Brings back many memories for me ! Last week we went to dinner at Stella Marina & Sublime was playing at the Pony ...sounded awesome even from the boards.

I was so happy to see you post Alex i think you are right on .I can see however some of these gals get caught up in the lime lite.I really think Jacquline just got caught up in the hater stuff and then was feeling really bad for sayeing the thing s she said.I just think they should learn to control them selfs and act like women the language is just way out of order and name calling.You are always a breath of fresh air love you and your family your real girl .Cant wait till you are back on :)my best to your hubb and childern:)

I agree with all that u are saying I think that some parts of the reunion was way to much and very immature. I was just thinking to my self why get so upset and look like fools over some one who is clearly a nut. I did like one thing that Caroline mentioned is that they never talked about Daniell's children and so for her to always bring up the other women's childern was just shamefull not only as human but also as a mother.

Alex, you and simon are still the only ones I would want to be friends with..I feel like you that they all have their part in that whole mess. I wish the best for Danielle and her family ...Now who will the family target be????

If it was so awful for Teresa to get up and get in Daniell's face, why was it ok in you little world for Ramona to get up and get in Jill's face?

What a bizarre ending to this show. I never would have imagined that there would be a hug between these three. So happy Danielle and her toxic actions are outta here!! Can't wait to see you next season

Alex your blogs are always right on the mark...The problem with the NJ HW's is the entire season of hearing Caroline say she want's Danielle to go away and the viewers not fully getting what has gone on off-camera with these women. There is always more than one side, and I am afraid we are not seeing all sides. What I got from the reunion is that this show just doesn't seem real...I did watch it a second time and realized that right from the start, it seemed like Theresa was given the open door to start in on Danielle, from the minute they were asked about Jersey Shore...how did Theresa spontaneously come up with the analogy of Jersey Shore and Danielle?... I am afraid that we were all punked this season with this show...Another disturbing fact was Theresa getting so violent and then Caroline making a point of saying..."I never see you like this, if I did, you wouldn't be my friend"...well duh....what does that mean? If you did this to anyone else other than Danielle, I wouldn't be your friend? The whole reunion was the biggest piece of fiasco acting I have ever seen...I am really not interested in watching this show next season...

There is so much more to gain by taking the apology and moving on and letting it go than there is to holding someone to an apology that is deemed meaningful. I think Bravo made a huge mistake allowing Danielle to leave the show.
It is going to be so boring without her.
Also I dont think you really say exactly how you feel because your afraid of the backlash from the NJ housewives.
What did Danielle ever do to you to have you keep saying you dislike her?
You dont know her and like the crap you went through on the first season of RHONY, you are doing to Danielle what you claimed that you didn't like what people were commenting about you.
I always liked you and thought you would be the kind of person to give someone a chance before you label them as dislike in your book.
I agree with some of your comments but not about Caroline.
She showed her true self during this reunion and I believe she has had the show go to her head.
So many feelings about the reunion yet you dont spill them all.

well i think that the whole housewifes show is great and they are all bad in there on ways but danalle is the worest out of all housewifes over all. I think also that j just was so sick of everything that she i did not care at the show that at the end she just wanted peace . but the thing is girls is that in are on way we can be like them to!

It was nice to read your prospective of the NJ Housewives. I will be curious to find out whether any of the wives you spoke of will contact you to discuss your feelings on thier lives. I believe that anyone can get in to financial trouble. It is horrible to see Theresa filing Bankruptcy. I believe that all things considered the eleven million is relative to a lifestyle. Please do not judge them for their current financial situation and remember they were loaned that amount of money therefore must have earned the proper amount to repay the debt. As we have all felt the strain of financial hardships due to our ever failing economy, we cannot blame Theresa and Joe for thier inability to handle thier financial obligations. I hope they are able to save thier beautiful home. I also hope the you and Simon are never in that situation. Scott FL

Thanks for your blog. I will say that I followed the show and unlike a lot of other viewers who post comments, I do not take sides. I see the mess that is Danielle but I also see it in Theresa. It makes me laugh when people love her so much when she is so ghetto its funny. Her language and behavior is completely inappropriate but people want to love her and hate Danielle. Whenever I see a scene with Theresa and her family I think that LuAnn's song "Money Can't Buy You Class" should play in the background. Caroline is true to herself it seems but even she had her moments of some bad behavior. Jacqueline really needs to understand that her daughter is rude and needs every reality check she can get before she becomes completely out of control.

Overall it was an ok season but to be honest with Danielle leaving I will likely not watch the show anymore. I will be honest and say that the others bore me and do not make for entertaining television. Half of us would not have been nearly as interested without the war between everyone and Danielle.
