Here's the thing .. Danielle seems to have personality/behavior issues that could benefit from counseling. She seems paranoid and is very passive-agressive. While she acts as though she's above it all that appears to be only a cover to hide her feelings of inadeqecy and low self-esteem. I hope she gets help & I wish the best for her.

The other women should have tried to stay calm (Teresa) and not let Danielle push those anger buttons. But I can see how dealing with DS can provoke that anger. Danielle seems to want attention, positve or negative, and so she does things to solicit reactions from people around her. I don't believe that she thinks things through before she acts or speaks. Once the action has begun or the words are out there is really nothing that can take it all back. An apology from DS is most likely insincere.

I was very happy to see Jacqeline's "AH HA!" moment when she realized that she had been stooping to Danielle's level, heaving insults her way. The best way to end all this drama is for all the women to silently walk away from it.

Hi Alex, Big fan of you.. Love the way you always contain yourself..At first you were a little boring to me then I started to see you interact a little more, which at that time I gained a lot more respect for you and aslo see a lot of class that you hold!! Keep it up good work!! I love the control you have and I do believe you are a true person at heart and soul. I don't feel theat you are fake in any way. On that note... Danielle is a head case and Theresa.. She's Italian ( I can relate) it takes some doing but when its pushed its all over and I commend her for still controlling herself/ because there;s a whole "nother level!! LOl. A much as she is losing it ..she is actually more in control of what might become!!

Alex - as always, spot on with your blog. I thought the last 15 minutes of the Reunion was in the Twilight Zone. I think Danielle sensed that is was wrapping up and wanted to re-shape her image at the last moment. I'm glad that Jacqueline apologized but I never trust Danielle.

Good for Caroline for not buying the melodrama from Danielle. Even if D was sincere in the moment, she is not likely to change from the narcissistic, lying, paranoid person she is at her core. She loses every friend she ever makes because the monster will come out eventually, sooner rather than later. She is so unsavory to me that her hugging T & J made me ill.

What a shock to go to the DC blogs and see Jill's face staring at me! Yuck. She is doing it because you are doing it, but she can never compete with you in any way. You are by far the better person; and intellectually, you'll have her for lunch. I wonder how you'll keep your lunch down when you again have to film with her.

Kim G. is a waste of air time and I HOPE Bravo doesn't add her to the mix. Dina really should come back, if not 100%, then at least a couple of minutes in a few episodes.

If you need a mental shower, why play in the dirt, then report on it. You said Jacqueline wasn't slinging enough mud so she had to resort to "married men" for a rise. Aren't you doing the same. I've always enjoyed you on NYHW but I am surprised, now that you have found YOUR voice, that you would take the time and guest blog every week. At least your not plugging your books everytime ( like others) so that is refreshing and genuine. I like you just the way you are, just don't get too wrapped up in the other wives business before it bites you. If your returning next season, I'd keep it on the down low. Keep the fans you have, so to speak. Best wishes.

Alex, I don't know what happened at the end of the reunion show, but I swear those weren't the same women that started part one. It was nice that the screaming, profanity and name-calling stopped, but the "hugging part was somehow harder to watch. I'm not buying any of it. I think it was just a way to tie up loose ends before Danielle's departure. As Caroline said "this is a crock of sh*#". I think Caroline is the only one who stayed true to herself. She wasn't fake and that came through loud and clear!

LOLOLOLOL I thought it was great :-) I wish Teressa had kept her cool a bit more but that is Teressa......I adore her........we all knew or know a Teressa. Up front in your face little pit bull. I say that with fondness. As for Danielle welllllllllllllll where I come from she would be considered Pure trash. I think everyone needs to leave Kim G alone lolol most have a little Kim G in them but just never got caught lolol that is unless you are Mother Teressa.

I would like to comment that I am so relieved that this season is finally over. These shows pull you in, like phone calls from a troubled friend with so many problems. You want to help, and listen endlessly, but instead they seem to thrive on problems and drama, and never seem to see their part in it all. i wonder if we all go through life like this. It is exhausting in a way that normal television or movies are not.

I found this season of New york and New jersey housewives emotionally draining.

One wants to skip it, but we are all drawn into the lives of these people. We can so relate to some of them.

I am very happy to see that Danielle will not be returning to the show. I don't think anything positive came from her being there the last 2 years. I will still follow the show because I love the other 3 ladies and their families. I will, however, not watch if Bravo adds another lady like Danielle or Kim G.

Your perspective is pretty much mine, dead on, every week. I couldn't believe the hug either. I'm with Caroline. I also thing Jacqueline might be thinking "If I am nice to her here, right now, to her face, she will go away and leave me alone". Maybe Teresa just followed suit. Either way Crazy Danielle is gone and I hope (really, really hope) her 15 minutes of fame is UP and we never have to see her again.

I love you but I do not agree with you about Caroline. Caroline wants to keep the drama going and as far as I am concerned she is full of it. Everything was about Danielle, Danielle, Danielle, when it came to asking Theresa about her actions at the fashion show she said No and that was that. I did not like Andy questioning Danielle through out the reunion I wonder if he is going to be one of the housewives. You are excusing everything that those ladies have done and focused on Danielle, that is not right.

i agree with u 100% alex. there were a couple of unecessary things said on all parts but i really would have liked to see more REAL questions get answered. i think all the girls feel like they dont want to be the 1st to apologize even though they know it should be done in some cases. caroline i LOVE!!!! i have alot of respect for her because no matter what she stays the same. cant wait to see the new york wives again.... till then.....

I think you hit the nail on the head! How is it that everyone else can see what's going on except for them? I guess it's easier to see from the outside looking in. It definitely got real nasty this season in New Jersey. I hope things can return to normal.

I agree with you on your blog post, except for the bit about Caroline. I think she showed her true colors... unforgiving and a bully. Really sad for someone who claims to have such wonderful family values.

Alex, Once again, you are right on the money with all your observations. Glad to know we were watching the same show! Only one exception. I feel the whole kiss and makeup session was phony on all sides except for Caroline' reaction. Too many hard feelings, too many insults and threats, too many outrageous attacks and then - poof - it is all light and love to use D's words. A sincere apology and a promise to do better in the future would have been more believable and realistic.

If I had seen just the reunion and none of the episodes, I would definitely think that Danielle was the nicest and classiest of them all! Also, what a scary ordeal for anyone to have to endure. Three woman verbally attacking one woman. Major bullying!!!! Should have been stopped and Andy should have read the three bullies the riot act. I was actually scared for Danielle when Teresa got up in her face with that animalistic screaming. I have never been a champion for Danielle, but now, after seeing the reunion and remembering some of the other episodes, I don't like the other three women any better. I'd like to see BRAVO wipe the slate clean and try again with a brand new cast.

Caroline showed her true colors last night, and it was not pretty.

I really think Teresa has no idea how she really acts. She totally started the fight at the fashion show, and I really think she would NOT have just talked to Danielle if she had caught her. She would have pushed her and probably yanked her hair.

The only good thing after all this crazy season is that Daniel is fanally gone! Is that mean Dina is back? :)

Alex , I agree about the apologies, BUT, that lingering hug with Jaqueline was so phony !I think she was trying to either turn on her gay lover or show Caroline , "I win! you can't break up me and Jaqueline", She befriended the weak link Jaqueline and used her to the end! Who knows if her "LOVE" for Jaqueline was a "crush" ? I'm sorry she took that long hug as an opportunity for attention to increase Carolines "AGIADA and the whole audience! I so agree with you Alex !! Your such a classy lady.... Teresa is a true Patersonian because we all react sometimes we need to think before we speak . However it sucks to hear about her $$$ issues but that's living proof of what can happen when you live outside of your means but I love her so much and her cook book is great ! Caroline is the grandmother from all all families who don't play and take no sh** I lover her honesty and she is truly for her family which is great ! Jaqceline is such a lady I love her for her classy ways and she likes to be a peace maker and sometimes that gets you in trouble . Danielle I'm not a fan but i give her much credit for taking all those damn blows from everyone but she needs to get it together and I'll be her stylist !!!!!

Good take on the finale, Alex. I was a little bit stunned at the ending & had to agree with Caroline a bit. Jacqueline was the one to call a truce to all of the back-stabbing, but that was all she was asking for...not a hug-fest. It seemed like Danielle jumped on her chance to make a grand exit & take the limelight with "over the top" reactions & promises, which she may not have kept since the show was taped.

Danielle made claims going into this that someone would be shamed & we would be left wanting to see more of her. If any of that happened I totally missed it.

Interesting take on things Alex, I always knew you were right when it came to Jill and what I saw as Jill trying to rally the troops against Bethenny and all she got was crazy Kelly and the Countless.. Ramona tried to maintain a middle ground, but she was forced to come to the side of sanity.. As for the NJ housewives, I dont like Danielle much either, and I thought the hugs were a little much, but then for Caroline to whiz on all of it shows that Caroline holds grudges, is actually a bitter and petty woman. I think it takes a lot of energy to maintain the kind of hate they were showing, and what we dont realize is that this went on for 8-10 hours.. Yet there is Caroline, with a fresh pot of hate ready to go! But, Danielle is gone now, I really dont think she was treated fairly by the show, it was just too many against one, hardly fair.. and Andy had no choice but it seemed like he could only join the gang.. and then with Kim G, it seemed like a total gangup.. but thankfully Kim G's twofaced ways was even tough to take for ALL of the wives..

Love your assessments. As usual, you are spot on. I love the title of your blog. It's perfect for somebody having to deal with all of Danielle's bullcrap. I'm not buying it. I'm with Caroline. Danielle knows Jacqueline is meek and easy prey which is why she targeted her. She attacked Jacqueline in the very beginning of the season after Jacqueline was guardely nice to her. She also lied about not being friends with Danny. In Part 1 of the reunion, she mentioned she was still friends with him.

If Danielle was left on the show for Season 3, there would've been more of the same. Thank God for small wonders.

I wish you and Simon will on your new endeavors - you guys deserve it! Looking forward to seeing you for Season 4!

Alex, don't judge. Seriously, do not judge! There's nothing extremely shocking about this reunion. Tempers flew. Emotions ran wild. That's what happens when families and friends and real lives are involved.
