Season 2
Season 1
Hello again! So what did you think of Thanksgiving in June? I think the general perception among viewers is that things are happening in real time, not true! We actually filmed this in November, just thought I'd give a little insight into our filming process.
Let's talk about Vito and his family. They are wonderful people who have welcomed Lauren into their family and embraced her as one of their own. As a mother I couldn't ask for more. It means the world to me to know that Lauren is loved not only by Vito, but his entire family as well. Jackpot! I'm going to let you in on a little secret, you need to go visit the Scalia family deli, The Best of Little Italy, in Monroe, NY. You won't be disappointed! If you're not from the area, check it out on the web.
I was happy to see Ashley stepping it up at home. Power on, Ashley, power on! You have it in you, kid, just let it out.
"Friendsgiving" at Teresa's was a way for us to support Teresa and Joe during a difficult time. I was happy to see the Gorgas having a conversation that suggested moving forward towards resolving the feud. I've said it many times, every family fights, we're only human, but at the end of the day we need to forgive and move on.
That's all for now, folks. As always, thank you for watching! See you next week!
xoxo
Man O' man--At times is looks like "TRE" is gonna rip your head off. Why was Dina not there? Are you two on bad terms too??
Caroline, I loved this episode what you said about Lauren and Vito. It is the same thing I said about my daughter. I told my mom she was going to meet her future husband on her job. When she told me about him and I met him I knew that was going to be her husband. They will be celebrating their second wedding aniversary in August.
Please tell me that you thought Teresa was very rude about the sprinkle cookies! How awful Jacqueline must have felt as she had just taken those cookies!
Hi Carolyn! You are the best! I have watched every episode from day one and you are my all time favorite. You are a very graceful and classy lady and I know that when all hell breaks loose on the show, you will be the light of wisdom. I wish you the best with everything and I know that you will continue to give people good advice and helping them along the way. You have a great family and I am happy that everyone is doing well. I am a little sad that with the boys moving out that there wasn't one more round of the ham game. :o( Even though you said no good came from the ham game, we all thought it was hilarious. Maybe Vito can hook the boys up with some ham and they can have rematch at their apartment? Ha! Take care and all the best to you!
To the High Priestess of New Jersey, thanks for explaining that it was November when you filmed the episode that aired tonight. We were so confused! What would we do without your explanation since everyone on camera was preparing for and celebrating a holiday called THANKSGIVING!!!! geez.
You are wonderful!!! The little I see of you, you teach me to be a better person. Your parents did some great job with you Dina and Chris.....
I love you Caroline. Honestly, you seem to be getting really short with everyone this year instead of letting people vent and then hitting them with some mature knowledge after. I get the feeling that you are getting tired of reality tv thing, but I really hope it is how BRAVP is putting together the clips and you are not really being this snippy with everyone. Love love
Caroline, again, watch your interactions with other adults a little more closely. why did you snatch that card out of teresa's hands? teresa may act goofy sometimes, but remember she's a grown woman with 4 kids of her own.
Caroline,
Your always a breath of fresh air, I love and respect your view on Family and always trying to stay positive. I can't tell you how nice it is see all the love you have for kids and family! May you and your family have a Great summer!
XoXo From So Cal :)
Hi Caroline!! I really do love your love for family. I am a fan you are great. I really miss Dina and wish she would have stayed on, but I understand. I wanted to tell you to start watching your facial expressions when you watch the show back. When people are talking and annoying you it somewhat shows. It may not be annoyed but it comes off as you being not compassionate. That is not you and I know people have their moments but I hate that you look that way. I think people generally are sheep and not honest. I love how you know who is what. You are a very good mother, wife, and friend and I thank you for allowing me to watch you and learn from you. People need something to aspire to and you are great! Keep on keeping it real. Oops! Almost forgot.. I enjoy your kids- they are wonderfully hilarious! See ya next week :)
Hi Caroline
Thank you for reminding me Thanksgiving is in November :) You are awesome and your Kids represent the strength they were raised with. What a great example your boys can set for Ashley.... Seems though the house cleaning Ashley did was loaded with motives ....CAR . But good to compliment the baby steps she is making. Love the support you offer to Teresa she sincerely appreciative of it.
Bonnie
Hello Caroline, I really like the way you handle every situation in a positive way. You are a great friend, mother, wife, everything. I relate myself to you a lot. Miss your sister. Take care and have a great summer.
I really like Caroline because she is straight forward and to the point. she carries herself with the utmost respect and she really cares about her family. I am glad that she is always there for her friends and family when ever they need her. You rock Caroline keep up the good work.
caroline,
i know that there is a lot of drama involved, but i am sick of you trying to play the "i don't care" card. i mean if you don't like drama and you don't care why are you still on the show? i like you, but sometimes you try too hard to play the tough cookie... it doesn't suit you. i love how you could be so tender with your boys... i wish i could see that side of you more... as far a for respect for theresa, come on! that lady really needs a brain, i could see the frustation on your face with her sometimes...
Hello Caroline, I was cracking up when Albert found out Vito's Dad is from Sicily. My husband and his family are Romans with light skin and blue eyes. Nonna never liked are dear zio Oreste because his family came from Calabrese, very close to Sicily. She always said I no lika CALABRESE!!! Oreste treated her better than all her other son in laws yet she liked him the least because he was CALABRESE!!! Sicilians think Sicily is a separate country. My husbands family laugh. Sicily is in Italy period. They're Italia just like everyone else who lives in the boot.
Love you Love your family. But you all need to lighten up on Vito. let him be the one to decide when to pop the question.
I am very happy for Lauren and for you. One of the most important things as a mother is know your children are happy and it is always a plus when the family of their significant other loves them !! All three of your children are on the right path because of the wonderful upbringing you provided.
Thanksgiving at Teresa's looked like fun and I think it really raised her spirits.
I was also happy to see the Thanksgiving at the Gorga's was geared toward reconcillation opposed to back stabbing. It was a nice change.
Hmm. Let's see. It's June and last night you all were celebrating Thanksgiving. That must mean the show is taped before it airs. Thanks for that insight, Caroline. Proving once again that you are the smartest person in the room.
One thing certain this season is you absolutely don't encourage drama of any sort. When Theresa heads down that path -- you kindly stop it and re-focus her. She is lucky to have you as a positive mentor. I loved the scene with Vito's family... Your husband's discussion on being poor was one of the season highlights...
You seem very smart. I'm confused as to y u don't see through teresa. I don't think its all her fault but she is not genuine at all. She is shallow and can not control herself classy is the furthest thing from describing her.
Caroline:
Graceful as ever! Love you! I am so happy for Lauren that Vito's family loes her so much. That is such an important thing! GOd Bless
i love the way you are with your family, family is the most important thing, the most valuable thing in life:) i just wish they would show lauren more!!!! she is such a beautiful wonderful young lady, as well as your sons. you have a beautiful family!!!!:)
well said...love you and your family. BTW love how you're so straight forward with everyone. You are real and a genuine person.
You seem very brusque and blunt this season. As if perhaps you are really not having that good of time on the show. Also, it didn't appear that you were enjoying your time at Teresa's house for Thanksgiving. It seemed you were just going through the motions. I hope life is good for you and wish you the best.
I just love you, Caroline! I admire you so much. Your laugh is contagious! I even have my husband interested in the show now. He thinks you are one tough cookie and gets such a kick out of watching you! Your children, family and friends are so blessed to have you in their lives!
Now that crazy Danielle is gone, would Dina ever come back to the show? I know she hates drama but she is a joy to watch, beautiful inside and out!
Caroline, Regardless of all the constant feuds that go on around you and your family, you remain, classy and dignified. The success of your well rounded children, speaks volumns! I find it disheartening, to hear other cast members, who have so much drama and skeletons in their family's closests, even remotely say anything harsh about you, Albert or your kids. Of ALL of the members of RHONJ, you have every right to hold your head high, in your accomplishments in life. Cinzan, bella.. Cinzan!!! My very best to you and yours, from one Jerseyan to another!!!!
Caroline, Just watched the show and read your blog last night. You are not right in the middle of the drama right now, but I wanted to comment that it is always nice to see you and your family on the show. You have a wonderful family. So happy for Lauren. Her future looks bright. And love your husband and sons, too. You are a loyal friend to Teresa and Jacqueline. Love you, Caroline.
You are so right. Move on. I really appreciate your positive influence on the show. You look so much more rested and calm this year. Keep up the good work!
Caroline, Why do you keep bringing up the subject of marriage concerning Lauren and Vito. As a viewer it is uncomfortable to watch and it seems at times, Vito himself is uncomfortable. In my book, the only time marriage is discussed is after he has asked and the ring is on the finger. In episode 1 you bascially chastised him for not having asked Lauren to m arry him yet and last night you referred to Vito as Lauren's husband when you were talking in the deli. You might actually scare him away if he feels he is not ready and you keep bringing the marriage subject up!.Let them talk about it in private when it suits their lives. Perhaps he is far from ready to make that commitment yet?
Caroline, I have to say out of all the shows on the Housewives, you have been and always will be my favorite. I got the chance to see you this past weekend at the Westchester County Center for the Pet Adoption Day. Even though you were dressed down you looked more beautiful in person. I just love the fact that you support such causes and use your new fame to help them and not for yourself as most new "stars" do. You are always gracious and kind, and when I and anyone else I saw said hello to you, you gave us all a genuine smile. Thank you for being an example to all those women who watch the show. Much continued success and love for you and your family!
Caroline
You raised a beautiful daughter who knows how to make the right choices. You could tell Vito is a nice man with a nice family. Good Luck to them.
Very disapponted in Caroline. She admitted to shooting groundhogs when she was young. I thought she is an animal lover. This little clip should have been omitted. It really bothered me.
I dont think Vito is that happy when you bring up Lauren and him get married. To much pressure. Dont think the boy is ready! This just might push him away! You should just let it go an when and if it is going to happen then you can say all you want. Other than that you are a good friend and family member to the other woman.
Glad Danielle is gone but you have a new one right by your side Its Kathy!! Get ready cause she is going to brew more trouble than you need in your life for you and Teresa ,Melissa. Jacqueline should stear clear.Good luck to all of you.
Love you Caroline!!! You seem like the only reasonable one in the bunch. You seemed bored and annoyed at teresa's friendsgiving. Next tim e u should host!!
I know what you mean about family's fighting firsthand! Coming from a family of eleven myself I recently had a huge fight with one of my sisters and it took us 6 months to speak again! It was not a good time in my life or her's but we realized that we are family and need to stick together. I only wish Joe Gorga could see that he needs his sister in his life before it's too late! I wish we could see more of your large family on the show, that would be nice!!!
Thank you and your family for supporting Teresa, none of us are perfect but that girl is really caught between a rock and a hard place. Teresa has grown on me because she is getting her hustle on and not sitting around waiting for Joe to solve everything, looks like they have a real partnership and I wish them nothing but love, and your family too. I have a strong willed teen daughter, sometimes they just have to learn the hard way, referring to Ashley. Your Lauren is a very impressive young woman, and your guidance and direction come from your incredible loving and nurturing nature. Power on!
Caroline,
I adore you - your family is the most solid of all of the Housewives franchises. You can tell that you have been an amazing parent because of how your children treat you and how they are once they "leave the nest." Albie and Christopher's advice to Ashley was spot on...and even though it's no different than what Jacqueline has been telling her, she might just listen because they are closer to her age. My favorite scenes are when you are with your family and one of them does something that cracks you up. So "real." Good job, mama!!
Caroline, I love you! But please, stop putting so much pressure on Lauren and Vito to get married. His side of the family is guilty of it too. When they're ready, they'll do it. I get that from my own family constantly and its really annoying!!!
Caroline, Just love Lauren and her Vito. I am rooting for a beautiful wedding at the Brownstone when they are ready, of course. I do enjoy you being the voice of reason. I'm sure many of us now think to our selves, "What would Caroline do?" when faced with the little bumps in life:-) Thanks for just being yourself, and keeping it real!

CAROLINE, ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL FACE YOU MADE WHEN TERESA WAS EXPLAINING HER COOKIE THROW-AWAY RETALIATION THEORY! I DON'T KNOW IF YOU EVEN RECOGNIZED HOW YOU WERE LOOKING AT HER--BUT I LAUGHED HARD AND LONG! YOU ARE MORE GROUNDED THAN A PEPPER SHAKER! JUST KEEP GUIDING TERESA-GOD LOVE THAT GAL...SHE'S GOT A HUGE HEART BUT NEEDS YOU AND JACQUELINE AS THE VOICES OF REASON. YOU'RE ALL BLESSED! YOU SHOULD BE SOOO PROUD OF YOUR SON'S WITH THE ADVICE AND THE WAY THEY SPOKE OF FAMILY PEACE TO ASHLEY! YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND HAVE DONE SOME GREAT JOB AS PARENTS!
