Caroline dishes about the boys' moving day and the conversation with Kathy.

on May 30, 2011

I did share those feelings with Kathy that day, and she understood where I was coming from. That’s all I have to say on this subject, I'm tired of talking about it.

I felt bad watching Jacqueline talk to her dad about Ashley. I don’t believe for a minute that Jacqueline should harbor any guilt because her relationship with her ex-husband didn’t work. They were married entirely too young and weren’t prepared to be husband and wife, let alone parents. Jacqueline worked multiple jobs to support Ashley and always had her best interest at heart. I understand where Ashley may feel like the odd man out, I really do. But I only allow that pity party to go on for so long. This kid has no idea how good she’s got it. She’s got a mother and father who love her and a step-mom and a step-dad who love her too. She is very much a part of two families with brothers and tons of extended family members as well. Ashley spends time in Texas with her dad whenever she wants to and obviously has a home with Jacqueline and Chris. There are millions of people out there who are products of divorce. Some marriages end in a very bitter way, and yes, the children suffer because of that. That isn’t the case here. Jacqueline has an extraordinary relationship with her ex-husband, and they work together to deal with Ashley’s issues. I just wish Ashley would open her eyes, look around, and be grateful for what she has. She’s been blessed with not one but two families that only want the best for her.

So what did you think of Greg? He’s 6'5'' of complete cuteness. Albie and Vito met Greg while attending Fordham University. He is absolutely hilarious, and I believe will be a very unique addition to the mix! Moving day was fun, and I was glad to have everyone there to help. In our world there’s no such thing as a moving company, we rent a U-Haul, round up all the family, and get to work. We’re getting things done, but we’re making memories too, and I love that. Anyway, keep an eye on these three; I think they’re going to make you laugh out loud. Love them too much!

OK, I need to have a cup of coffee before I pass out. As always thank you so much for watching, and I’ll see you next week!

XO
