Murphy:  You are right about the book episode (although Dina was in on the discovery with Caroling to some extent was my understanding) and that Caroline was the one who "outed" her to the people in town (ugly, in my opinion), but that was near the end of season one, escalating to the finale.  What I am talking about is the hate campaign origin, in which Dina openly expressed her dislike of Dina in almost the first episode, Danielle tried to reconcile, Dina refused to even be civil and Caroline and Teresa jumped on.

As for your assertion regarding why Teresa waited outside the bathroom for Danielle, I cannot think of one statement made by anyone in any season that even suggested that; not by those who tried to cast as positive a light on it as possible, nor Teresa herself.

Kansas girl; I kind of don't know what you are referring to.  I don't get upset by what anyone says in response to me.  In fact, I have thanked people who have given valid criticsm.  Unlike some, this is not this big of a deal to me.  I am just passing time until I am well.

The only thing that is a big deal to me is the unfairness and twisting I see.  Can I just give you a couple of examples?

Kathy was obviously taking a dig with her "mothers cookies" statements; Teresa was just as obviously digging with her "no one wants a dessert cookbook" comment.

Regarding Caroline, if she blogs about Teresa in the episode, then she is nasty.  If she doesn't she is a coward.

Personally, it amuses me no end that because I have made some comments defending some of Caroline's actions because I thought what was being said was unfair and illogical, many jumped to label me a "Caroline fan".  I did not like Caroline at all season one when everyone else was singing her praises (I bet if I had commented on my thoughts regarding her then, the same people who are crucifying her this season would have jumped all over me, lol).  Through subsequent seasons, she still is not my favorite as she is kind of pushy and rushes to judgment, and can frankly be mean without provocation.  The way she treated Danielle the first season before knowing that she was psycho when Danielle was chasing them like a pathetic puppy particularly turned me off.  In subsequent seasons, I have been able to see some positive in her, but I still think she needs some work (as we all do, I would say).  Definitely not a fan.  I am sorry that I am not in the majority that have and take the time to write often that believes Teresa is this wonderful, loving, talented human being.  What I see is totally different.  I was kind of hoping that someone could make points that would help me see the good in her because I do like to see the good.  But truthfully, the majority of what I have seen lacks logic or foundation.  In addition, the most vile statements are made by people who then get totally riled regarding any criticism or different opinion.  However, they are entitled, as I am entitled to disregard.  This is public space.

Can someone give me some clarification?  I did not see WWHL the night Vanessa Williams was on, but read comments that indicated that she was supportive of Teresa and Kathy was unhappy about it.  I just read a comment that said that Vanessa Williams said she wished that Teresa would stop all the antics; which is it?  Just curious.

Have you thanked Teresa for your recent nose job and hair extentions? If it was not for her you would not be on the show and able to afford such luxuries.

Kathy...I think you are a class act.  I don't think you were being malicious at all when you commented at Teresa's book signing about the recipes. Coming from a Italian family I understand that there are a MILLION recipes for everything and each person adds their own little touches.  I guarantee that Teresa's recipes were not invented out of thin air by her mother and she does not have a monopoly on Italian pastry.   I agree with other posts that she really can't stand when others are successful.  I hope you do well with your dessert business, if I lived on the East Coast I would love to come try them...bring them to Maui ;-).  Good luck. Your and Melissa's husbands make me want to not watch the show!!! They are little women. I take that back, little girls. Actually I take that back they are little somethings but I don't think I should use that word right now... 

Kathy, I love you and your family. I really don't know where all this hate is coming from. Anyone I know who watches the show loves you, and always looks forward to seeing you every Sunday night. There is really something fishy going on with the board. Other boards about the show do not seem to be so against you.

I really respect you and find your stance on the show to be similar to Caroline's. You are both great and dedicated mothers as well as are extremely loyal and trustworthy people so expect the same in return from friends and family. I thought you were really good with the questions on WWHL. It was obvious that you were trying not to fight and were just trying to be neutral in the situation while still being honest. I thought it was horrible and offensive that Teresa would insinuate that you did not accept Rosie when she came out. It is so obvious how supportive and what a great relationship that the two of you have. It is so obnoxious how Teresa has to deflect the situation and bring up other people's issues or have to become defensive and blame shift. I am really getting sick of her issues and problems being the center of every episode. I think that Teresa is just a mean hearted woman who is a very insecure and jealous person. While other people believe that everyone else is jealous of Teresa, that is not what I believe to be true. I think that everyone has the same positions as everyone else on this show and know and expect to have business opportunities when being on this show. I think everyone has fans that would be interested in purchasing their products whether you personally would or not. I don't believe that Teresa is jealous of the other women's financial stability, homes, designer clothes, looks or possessions. I believe that Teresa is honestly jealous of their lives. She is jealous that the women have solid marriages and are secure with themselves. Caroline knows who she is as a person and is a very strong and independent woman. Kathy has a husband who adores her and two great kids who are very close and open with her as well as is someone who is very strong and knows who she is as well as has the love and support of her husband in EVERYTHING that she does, whether it is therapy with family members, business ventures or repairing relationships with people that she wants to. Melissa is very secure as a person and has a husband who adores and loves her and who also happens to be Teresa's brother. Teresa is upset that her brother adores someone that she dislikes and that isn't her. I believe that ANY woman that Joe married, Teresa would have an issue with. I also would like to hear from Joey or his 'ex-fiancees' as to why it did not work out and get the real story. Jacqueline, although people do not believe that she is strong, secure and has a mind of her own, I truly believe that she does. She has a great, loving and supportive husband and she has her own issues to be worried sick over rather than being concerned with Teresa's issues. Jacqueline proved that she is a good friend by asking Teresa if the tabloids were true rather than automatically believing them. All Teresa had to say was that she appreciated Jacqueline's concern but they were untrue and explain the situation rather than getting upset, defensive and blowing it out of proportion. Everyone is at fault for this situation but fans only keep blaming either just Teresa or blaming just Jacqueline and Caroline. It ridiculous and unfair.

Totally agree with the blogger that said the sauce she makes takes 30 minutes to prepare and the simmering is a couple of hours (although for me, two hours is a minimum and only if pushed; the flavor is really better is you simmer longer); should have worded it better.  What I meant about the time was that sometimes your schedule is such that you can't be around to babysit it all day, so the time still doesn't work even though all you are doing is stirring and making adjustments if necessary.

Annie003:  I totally agree with you, and said so in a later blog.  I am glad you understood what I meant by sauce, what you call gravy in your region.  In my region, sauce is that Sunday sauce that is your family's staple sauce, which I think is what your gravy is.  What I was referring to was that, and I have known people who make a 20 minute version of that tomato based sauce, and it is not good.  I would rather have Ragu.

Your mother must be so disappointed with how you, Rosie and Joey are all twisting words and ganging up on Teresa and Joe. She seems like a truely sweet woman with a strong sense of family even after the child hood she had being raised away from her brothers and sisters.  You should all stop and really listen to what she's trying to tell you!

After reading these posts, I am amazed at the damage that one member of this cast can do.  Teresa's toxic behavior and passive-aggressive action has infected everybody else and many of the viewers, too.  Remember that old saying about "one bad apple?"  Well, it is sure true.  She's done a lot of damage to these people--witness how mean the posting are against all of the others.   There is one, consistent, common denominator here.

I find Rich charming and amusing when he is joking with his kids. I find him insufferable, vulgar and crass when he makes inappropriate and offensive remarks solely to get camera time. This man should only be shown in scenes with his kids and should never ever ever be allowed individual interview time. He lives for the camera.

When are you coming out with a cookbook to include desserts?  All of your food and desserts look delicious.  ooooh,  or you could sell online and ship... i would love it even more if i didn't have to cook it too....  I think you are a wonderful and beautiful lady.  Don't let anyone bring you down.

Kathy how does it feel to eat Teresa's dust? When you were on WWHL everyone said it was so boring and you did not like it because everyone was not bashing Teresa! Teresa had the most viewers ever tune in when she was on the show again. She was so busy on her book tour and meeting and greeting fans that it was hard for her to come on the show. Her fans love love love her and want to see more more more of her. Jacqueline is acting as stupid and as jealous as you are! Sweet Teresa tried to say hey to Jacqueline and the witch would not say hey back. How childish can one get? I'm sick of y'all please leave!

I wonder which housewives understand the word 'endearing'?   Now we may not be able to give the webster dictionary defintion-we do understand the physical out pouring of emotion to someone we admire or aspire to be-or someone we can look to for strengh when times get tough.   I think that is the point so many people are missing about the viewers- we are not 'team' anyone-we are tired of the self promotion at someone elses expense.

Let me give you an example-

We would buy anything your mother was selling-probably even used motor oil!-because she has integrity, is honest-and quite frankly probably has a way to improve the quality of life and a practical use for it-and either saves money or time- or is delicious-yes if your mom made pasta with motor oil and told me it was good-I would take a bite-because she is Nonnie!

I don't think your mom is a saint(actually I do-but I think the church would have some words for me if I declared that in  Bravo blog)-if she is human she has made many mistakes and has hurt people-but it's her recovery-hard work-and quest to put her family-before money that makes her 'endearing'  Is she all of those things?  Maybe not-but the camera doesn't lie-she tells all of you to stop when something negative is said about family, and she has shared her struggles-and like Teresa doesnt think everything needs to be aired-just move on and work hard.

The backlash you and others are feeling is because you are throwing stones at others for money(fame, freebies-whatever)and you can blame it on editing-but it happened-therefore it exists.

You signed up for this-I don' t believe what is happening today is what you thought when you marketed your self to bravo-but what we want is 'responsibilty' from you and the other housewives-to be a good example-Not for plastic surgery, extentions, new clothes-or selling your name. Or to quote you from The View-"a piece of the pie" 

I think Teresa is more angry with you then Melissa. You grew up with Teresa. Everyone knew what Melissa was about when she married in, but you Kathy? I don't think you were a pawn of Melissa's. I think you were a full partner. Melissa must have felt like she won the lottery when you didn't not only balk at what she was doing to your cousin, but that you were so willing to help her with a fervor, and almost smittenly. The fact that you both have husbands who want fame and Teresa's success? Wow, the odds were really stacked against Teresa. You guys sure put her through two years of hell, but I'm SO proud of how she didn't "play" back dirty like you guys did, but let us put the pieces together ourselves. You underestimated your cousin, and you underestimated us and you overestimated you and Melissa. .

Kathy, I really want to like you and your family. But your true colors are starting to come out. You are not into family as much as you claim. I actually wish they'd get rid of you. You trash Teresa, but if it weren't for her no one would even know who you are.

It's funny how neither you or Melissa ever publicly thanked Teresa for the opportunity that was afforded to you through her stardom. Do you think it's appropriate to knock her given that fact?

How Rich behaved when Kathy went to the ice cream shop made me cringe, to talk like that in front of his wife in public is disgusting.  I do notice that Rich does seem to be jealous of everyone he is always putting people down particularly Teresa and Joe, why is he like that with them.  He comes across as pretty sleazy.
