Super Nanny

Episode 3: Bravotv.com's Associate Editor thinks Rosie is the key to keeping everyone in line.

I think the biggest takeaway from this week's episode was that Rosie is the key to solving all problems. Need a babysitter? Call Rosie. Need someone to sort out your family feuds? Get Rosie to intervene. If Rosie can help Lauren with her weight issues, then she will have offcially put out every fire in Jersey.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

No. 3 - A Big Problem

The Manzos are big jokers and love to give each other a hard time, that much is clear by now. While it's all in good fun, it's not always easy when you're sensitive about something (like Lauren and her weight). Of course it's in any brother's job description to tease his siblings, so when Al lobs up the comment about Lauren and Vito's kids being bigger than Albie and Chris', well, it was just too easy.

To be fair, Al was totally trying to give a positive spin to it in a dad-ish way. Your kids will be so big they can beat other kids up. Hurrah! Just what Lauren wanted to hear. This spirals into Caroline saying their kids won't be beasts, which then translates to Albie as their kids will be like little koalas who have trouble moving their arms. So poor Lauren is left with mild bitterness, images of koala children, and grilled chicken.

Personally I think Lauren should work through her feelings with a good old fashioned round of the ham game. What better way to get back at your brothers than by slinging some cold cuts at their faces?

Hating the Way She Looks
No. 2 - The Bermuda Triangle

Teresa, Melissa, Joey -- they just pass around the blame from one to the other in what sometimes feels like an unending circle. (Can they just work out their issues with the ham game already?) Their argument has become so confusing that I don't think it's possible to say who's right and who's wrong.

I do love Rosie's new role as mediator however. There's no one better suited for the job, because if anyone gets out of line, Rosie just needs to give her menacing glare and boom, problem solved. Perhaps the solution to all the drama is just to put Rosie in a room with the three of them and hold them there until they've all worked it out. Ham will be provided upon request.

The Battle Rages On
No. 1 - Super Nanny

I probably could have watched Rosie chase around all of those children for the entire hour of the show. This is what every babysitter should aspire to be. Some of my favorite Rosie-isms include:

"F-ck me."

"I'll throw your right into the lagoon, I swear to God."

"I'm going to take you up on that drink now."

"I'm going to need serious scotch tonight. Serious scotch."

But in all seriousness, she was a great sport about watching all of those kids. Certainly not a task for the faint of heart. And did you see the way she deftly handled the Milania/Antonia issue? Further proof that she should be handling the Giudice/Gorga situation.

Rosie vs the Kids
Next Joey and Teresa talk and Joey informs Teresa that he's an angel from God. Yeah, just watch.
