Dance Mom

Teresa updates us on Gia's dance team.

Hi Baby Dolls!

Happy Summer, Happy 4th of July! I hope everyone is staying safe in this heat! We're all at the beach just enjoying being with each other and sitting still for once... well, as still as you can ever sit with 4 girls!

I'm in such a happy place -- literally! Thank you all so much for supporting me through everything -- you all are like a giant, extended family to me -- and thank you for helping me stay positive and count my blessings. No matter what, with four healthy, beautiful girls and a wonderful husband, my blessings will always outweigh any drama!

I'm going to dedicate my blog to my first baby, my Gia. I'm so glad you got to see her dancing. It's what she loves, and what she is so dedicated to doing. She works so hard, and I'm so proud of her! I love that she's on a dance team, because they're like a small family -- they all look out for each other and work so hard together. She loves her teammates and Lex the other main girl dancer, and her choreographer -- she really loves everything about it! I'm happy to see her involved with something so positive.

This week, I'm taking Gia to Florida for the Monsters of Hip Hop Dance Convention. She and her T.R.U.E. dance crew are going to be dancing for three days straight! I'll put tons of pics and videos up on my website. If you think she was good a year ago, you should see how far she's come! Andy should have G-to-the-IA dance on WWHL, especially now that she’s out of school for the summer. Tell him you want to see her!Gia has a video shoot coming up, and lots of big things I can't wait to tell you about. For more information about Gia and her dancing, follow her on Twitter @TrueGia (PS--the account is monitored by her manager, Maria, and me, so don't worry, she never sees anything but happy stuff!). And follow T.R.U.E. on Facebook -- they're always looking for good new dancers!

Since I'm going to be down there for a few days and I love my Florida fans, I scheduled a quick stop at the Orlando Barnes & Noble at Colonial Plaza Market Center on Saturday, July 14 at 1pm. Come see me!

All right, what else was in this episode? Oh yeah, Milania... How funny is she? Did you see my face when she called Joe a "big poop?" The things that kid says every day. I never know what's going to come out of her mouth! I'm kind of glad it's all being recorded on the show, because I'd never remember it all otherwise. Someday I'm sure she'll watch it and be embarrassed... although then again, maybe not.

You don't see my beautiful Gabriella on TV as much because she's not super extroverted. She kind of hides from the cameras, but she's always with us. She likes to watch what's going on, and she loves to draw. She's like an old soul. Gabriella is not as outspoken as her sisters, but believe you me, when she needs to, she says what's on her mind! She can hold her own. Don't let the quiet ones fool you!

And Audriana, OMG... she is like Milania No. 2! Whatever Milania says, Audriana says it right after her. She's tough and fiesty, just like Milania. Wait until you see her now, it's crazy!

I love, love, love my niece Antonia and was so happy to be at her birthday party. The kids had a blast. They love being together, and that's what it all about.

I really like Albie and hope he finds true love. He deserves it! (Everyone does!) Lindsey looks like a sweet girl. I wish them the best!I'm excited to see next week's episode at Beatstock. It was such an amazing day!

Dina: "The Reunion was Very Hard to Watch"

Dina Manzo opens up about her comments regarding her family and why she kept quiet for Teresa Giudice.

This reunion was very hard to watch. What most of you don't know is I went in there with the intention of keeping silent on my family issues, as I have for the past four years. An incident happened at the reunion, and I won't even give that person the attention they crave, but it set me off to tell my truth. Well some of it at least. I felt I was very P.C. this whole time, but now I had enough. Some people will push you because they know deep down inside you won't push back, but being "zen" is all about setting boundaries, and learning that has been part of my spiritual path.

I don't want to go into much other than saying my answer about Nic came out very cold because there was more to it. I wish it were that easy to get to know him, but unfortunately it's not because of my relationship with his mother, and I'm just being honest. He is not missing me nor does he know what is going on with this family because of NOTHING more than his age. Anyone who is trying to make people think otherwise, especially his mother, should be ashamed of themselves. The Mother Theresa comment was about people comparing how I raise money for children with cancer yet don't help him. I went on to say how blessed my brother is to live in a county in New Jersey that people actually move to for the autism programs offered. How I see joy in him because of the progress he is making. He is a happy, beautiful child that is on his way to recovery, and although I know it's a struggle for parents of children on the spectrum, there is NOTHING wrong with seeing joy in them instead of sorrow. I appreciate all the parents of children with autism for their emails, tweets, etc. understanding and APPRECIATING that I see Nic as a 4 year old beautiful boy and not labeling him as anything other than that.

Kathy and Melissa should not have challenged me about "family values" if they don't want to hear my side. I kept quiet for the most part for TERESA, not wanting to bring up old wounds when she was dealing with so much around her sentencing. It was a hard position for me to be in.

I have no words for my sister on WWHL. She could have answered the no engagement question and left it at that. The lies that followed after were extremely hurtful and must have come from the sheer frustration of having to defend her position on the engagement party. All of you have seen I have ONLY ever said positive things about her no matter what I was feeling.

Please take a moment to watch this video I made on my truth about it all. I will post all the details on my look next week, but you can get to everyone involved -- from hair to dress  -- on my Instagram post on Sunday. Speaking of Instagram, I invite you to join me on a post a day for the month of November to share what you are thankful for. Showing gratitude for what you have in life just allows the universe to send you more to be thankful for! Trust me, it works!

Sending lots of love,

Dina xo
