Bravotv.com's Associate Producer talks high wires and cheese doodles.

on Sep 9, 20130

The Arizona trip has come to a close, and our Jersey crew of course couldn't leave without making a splash.

"Jersey style!"

The bros got a little alone time at the pool where they scared away at least two other people with all their loud pool antics. Who wouldn't hightail it out of there if you saw someone running into the pool like this?

But amid all the goofing around Joe Gorga made a nice toast to Joe Giudice. Maybe Miraval is rubbing off on them after all...

Then it was on to the bonding activity for the day: tightrope walking for two. Let's just say no one had the greatest of ease, but it did force Teresa and Melissa to work together.

It seemed like they were inching forward with their relationship just like they inched forward on that high wire.

Until Melissa's birthday dinner where she gave a beautiful toast that left out one person... I guess Teresa and Melissa needed a higher wire.

Penny's husband, Johnny, seemed to come to the party armed and ready to fight, which he then did.  Teresa seems genuinely surprised by the outcome of her gossiping.  She doesn't seem to grasp that these things can take on a life of her own, even when she is the source.  I wish she would face the reality of what she has started.

These fights must be viewed as ratings gold to the producers, or they wouldn't broadcast them.  I think that I am in the minority of viewers here with my opinion.  I accept that ,and only wanted to share my opinion.

Evidently, the postings on Twitter, by the marginal people in Teresa's life, have been going on for a very long time, unabated.  Did they make up all of this information posted, or did they repeat what had been said to them?

Will the drama end on this show?  Not likely, when people tune in to watch this.

The trip to the ranch was interesting in several aspects.

When the group was at the corral and the Native American man tried to present a spiritually-inspired teachings, the behavior of Melissa and Teresa was irritating.  They were rude, they were disrespectful, and behaved badly--making jokes, making faces, and generally acting like juveniles who had never been taught how to behave public.  It was behavior unbecoming adults.  I felt embarrassed for all of them.

Richie added to the insults with his usual need-to-entertain-the-boys-behavior that includes loud references to strippers.  I don't get this guy.  He does nice, kind, and touching things for his family, then morphs into this "other" when he gets with the guys.  His behavior must be embarrassing to his family.  I just don't know.  He's not a bad guy.  Why does he do this stuff?

The loud behavior at the ranch swimming pool was juvenile and offensive.  Why do some of these guys think they have to behavior so stereotypically?  Their behavior seems to enhance negative "New Jersey" stereotypes.  Is it the presence of the cameras? Is it encouragement from the show producers?  What gets them going to perform like that?

The difference between the two " leaving someone out of a toast things" . When Teresa did it last year it was because she is kind of inconsiderate and just never thought of Kathy. But Melissa purposely left Teresa out to hurt her and bug her. That's my opinion. And that's also what I think of how they are as people....Teresa just doesn't,t think ...therefore hurting someone, whereas Melissa thinks and thinks about the best way to hurt someone and then does it.

That toast you made was such a phony look on your face Melissa. You did not even acknowledge Teresa. You are never going to have peace with her because you are not about peace unless you are the center of attraction, and that requires chaos. Poor Joe. He really got fooled.

Melissa I still think you are a phony and Caroline called it out. You are still not real! You were not very attractive before all your surgery.  That  cosmetic surgery to fix that nose of yours and your forehead did not help the inner self. You need to be real and learn you are not the most important thing on the planet. How about taking care of your children and make your daughter feel special and important. If you are so innocent and were not what the rumors are going then  why are you so upset? Defending yourself so much  means it probably was true and you and joe are flipping out knowing you did cheat on him and you were working in strip clubs. So what . You are not a BLUE BLOOD or a Harvard graduate or a society person............ face it already. Get over yourself and start being a mother to your three children . If you had to live in a three bedroom  apartment would you love joe so much?  Or would the tight quarters show your true colors? I would like to know how quick you would leave your honey bunny. Besides children what have you done for society?

Melissa gets many "shots" in directly to Teresa's face.  Make no mistake, Teresa hears them and one can tell by how her eyes blink but she has swallowed a great many of them this season.  I think Melissa somehow feels wrongly empowered to be "many a joke is said in jest" mean spirited and revengeful to Teresa.

If the rumors weren't true I doubt Joe Gorga would actually react with such violence. I finally agreed with his wife on something.. he is an idiot.

Joe Giudice has been the comic relief in all the darkness.

Oh boy....Melissa what were you thinking?  That Revenge is a dish best served cold?  So far Melissa's bad behavior isn't usually in the spotlight, because Teresa keeps over powering that light to shine on her own bad behavior towards Melissa.  I see this as a Caroline states it, they are each as bad as the other and neither will budge on taking responsibility to trying to move forward.  Problem is, Teresa has more to lose than Melissa......like her brother.  And he stands to loose his sister, Mother and Father.  There are a lot of potential losers here, so Teresa and Joe should step aside and Teresa needs to own up to her end of bad mistakes that she's made to start the build a trust bridge again with her brother.   Melissa's decision to pay Teresa back on the whole Toast thing was a bad choice of her's as well.  I know Teresa has done a gazillion more things to Melissa than Teresa (that we've seen as viewers) and Teresa does not like to admit mistakes, but revenge is not the answer it sets a bad example and perpetuates the situation into a cold war.

Caroline thinks she knows everything...so all the therapy didn't help...according to Caroline only she could help solve everything

As someone who has done the high wire exercise, as a team building in business exercise but same principles apply, it is hard and scary and very rewarding in the take away lessons. Talk about out of the comfort zone!!  Kudos to Teresa for doing it twice and thank you once again to Joe Guidice for including Rosie in the exercise too! Families and friends learning more about themselves and each other at that beautiful location and upscale spa was fun to watch.

But then it was time to get back to the three season boring storyline. Caroline needs to practice "mind your own business". Her own family is pretty messed up and should keep her busy - but it is painful and hard work and much easier to point fingers at someone else's relationship or family. In real life, the rumors are out there about certain marriages and shady pasts - they are the ones that will eventually catch up to those who tried so hard to hide. The truth always wins in the end.

Seriously, Melissa leaving Teresa out of the toast? She's just mean...when it was done to Kathy, everyone had a fit. Sick of this entire cast against Teresa - almost 3 seasons now. Over it Bravo. Not cool.

Yeah, two wrongs makes it alright.  That was her beef with Kathy.  It had nothing to do with Melissa.  Did Tre's brother defend Tre?  Nope.  Then why the hell does Tre need to defend Melissa, the indefensible?  Melissa looked stupid.  Just saying.

Theresa, how does it feel to be left out of a toast.  You did it to Kathy last season, so now you reap what you sow girlfriend.  Why don't the two of you grow up and just agree to disagree and leave each other alone.

 @maria89

Maria89, I Couldn't agree more with your assessment! You are 100 % spot on, sad, but true, Melissa really does try to hurt/embarrass/humiliate Teresa.  I find that a deplorable personality trait, quite frankly.

 @miabella12

I know jus what you mean, Miabella, and you are right!  Mel keeps saying "Oh, I just let things go and let them roll off my back.  Once it's over it's over.  Clean Slate"  The only thing she left out is that HER idea of a 'clean slate' is about as filthy and muddy as a pig sty!  She is a VERY disingenuous person.  She won't be happy until Teresa is dead.  She will ENJOY it if Teresa has to go to jail or Joe gets deported.  She really sees herself in competition with T for her husband's love and attention. EW.  That's actually pretty creepy if you ask me.  T is Joe's SISTER, NOT his former lover that Mel is 'in competition with!  But Melissa ACTS as tho T is the love of Joe's life and she must 'take her down'.  I normally don't believe in all that crap, BUT... I am seeing too much from Mel that leaves little else for interpretation.

Did I miss something? I thought Caroline and Jac weren't acknowledged in the toast.  If that is the case, it wasn't just one person left out as it was when Teresa left Kathy out.   Just goes to show that when speaking in public it's better to just thank the whole group rather than single people out.  Someone's nose is always going to out of joint otherwise.

She and Jackie both were stuffing their feelings.  I don't think either of them were happy about the explosion!.

@travelgurl2013  At least Teresa didn't cry about it like Kathy did! And not mentioning Teresa in the toast is just the tip of the iceberg!! LMFAO! Thats nothing compared to what they say about Teresa on a daily!! Give me a break! Why would Teresa even bother mentioning that? If she was going to confront Melissa I'm sure it would be about all the mean rotten nasty things she says about her! Not about not being mentioned? Jesus at this point she's probably glad she wasn't mentioned!

@travelgurl2013 And last year, Kathy made such a big deal out of it, but of course Kathy won't dare say anything to her pal Melissa.  And what about Caroline?  Last year, she refused to raise her glass because she thought Teresa's toast was insincere.  This year....no problem for Caroline.

Face it, Kathy, Meatball Manzo, Jac and Melissa are Phonies.  Caroline always speaks the truth?  Give me a break.

You didn't hear Teresa whining about it or talking to everyone  about it like Kathy did.

@travelgurl2013 Interestingly Teresa doesn't even mention the toast, so good for her.  Maybe because it's better not to be mentioned than if Melissa had mentioned her but said something negative!  You know what they say, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.  I think Teresa is trying to agree to disagree but Melissa and Joey won't let her.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but did you see the look on Theresa's face when Melissa left her out of the toast.  Just one more issue to hold against her.

@travelgurl2013 Yes - she looked sad and disappointed.  But I am glad she didn't make a big deal out of it.  Although even if she did no one would have paid attention.
