Alex, I've been watching the show since the beginning and you've become my favorite! Season One truly depicted you and Simon in a negative light. But you've shown yourself to be the most grounded housewife of them all. I think you are both beautiful and genuine. It's weird to be a part of a cast (I have been) and even stranger to be playing the character of yourself in a cast. You add an interesting sense of reality and normalcy to a show that is at times surreal. Of all the women on this show, you react the way most of the viewers would, and I am sure we identify with you over any of the other cast members. You make the show worth watching.

Hi, love you on the show. Someone needs to tell Jill she deserved what you said to her. She certainly doesnt hold back when she is offended..Jill owes you an appology.

Alex, I am not sure what to say to you. I think you have a big heart but you trying to be someone that you are not. I speak 4 languages and have a masters degree and never feel the need to tell everyone. I think you and simon have a wonderful relationship and am happy for you but think that you need to start keeping your nose out of Jill and Bethanny's relationship.

Alex...you are theonly one with any sense and politeness..If they do not think Kelly said all that stuff have them see thetape and then they will knowthat she had a breakdown, and to tell her host to zip it was very nasty.

Alex, I love watching you. You carry youself so well, you seem like an amazing person. I don't know how you have the patience to deal with Kelly or Ramona, you are a very strong woman. Best of luck!

You may be the most intelligent, classiest, and most sophisticated housewife but you are also the MOST CALCULATIVE. You are well rehearsed and there is no impromptu about you. I see you sit back watching and plotting a good time to speak or smile or whatever it is that you do. You aren't naturally real and don't speak your mind when you really want to. Only when it sounds good and makes you look good. You may have fooled everyone but not me!

Hey Alex you and Bethany are my favorite, Ramona was too but, I was a little confused as to why she treated Bethany that way. I hope that you guys never change and good for you for standing up to Jill, she is full of it and now that you all have figired her out she wants to cry about the way that you treated her. I think that she is the mean one on the show and always acting like she is the victim. Yeah right.

Your the BEST! Those other women are so superficial! You stand out as a mild manner lady, wonderful mom, and loyal and caring wife.. Certainly very attrative... I think most are jealous of you, cause your so pretty, and have a brain too. :)

You GO Alex. You are the bomb. I am so proud of you. I really believe you are truly yourself on the show. I have loved watching you and Simon on the show from day 1 because I have always felt that neither of you hid anything. You are amazing. Just know that the only reason I watch the show is because of you and Bethenny.

all i can say is the way you guys ganged up on kelly was entirely high schoolish you were on jills case about the exact same thing i think u r getting entirely too envolved in the garbage i dont think you have bad intentions but i do believe you will make a spectacle of yourself if you continue to be overly invovled

Got to tell you - when you first hit the scene, I was a huge fan. Since then, I am sad to say, I see you as the world's most insecure social climber. I was born and raised in the NYC circle in which you are trying to run, so I actually know what I'm talking about. You should try to fight your battles ONLY (Bethenny doesn't need you to do it and it made you look petty)...remember that people have done favors for you so try to be grateful...and you should walk with grace. If you could do that you would, by far, be THE coolest NYC "housewife."

If you are a vampire, then I want to be one too. You carry yourself so well and are obviously a wonderful friend. It shows just how honest and real you are. YOU GO GIRL!

to janie123: you are not watching the same shows that I am watching. Alex did try to talk to Jill after the mean girls episode and Jill would have nothing to do with Alex. And Alex was right, when Jill does not want to let you say something she laughs and jokes right over you. When Bethenny talked to Alex about not using her skinny girl logo, I beleive that is when their relationship changed and they became friends. And they are friends. And it is not one sided. You two are both witty and classy. And you had Bethenny's back when you talked to Jill. You were taking care of a friend who was in a vulnerable state...pregnancy, dad dying.

I look forward to the show every week just to see your facial expressions, they are hilarious! The way you looked at Kelly when she flipped out was priceless! I don't think you are taking sides or being mean, I'm glad to see you taking up for yourself. Keep fighting the good fight & tell the devil I said hello :)

Alex, you know what class is and demonstrate it in your behavior. You are kind and considerate and Kelley, LuAnn ("Countess I am so much important than You are"), and Jill should stop and take notes.

You and Bethany should have your own show and the others need to go away. They may have money but they sure as heck don't have class, or even know what common courtesy is. You are a good mom, wife and friend. That is gold!

Alex, I really enjoy reading your blog every week. You are obviously the most intelligent woman on this show. All of your interpretations of the ladies' behavior are rational and spot-on. I also enjoyed watching you verbally spank Jill Zarin in front of all the ladies. I can relate to your sanity! Keep up the good work!

quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger. this is wisdom and maturity. it appears you are the only one that gets this.

i think you are one of the more level headed girls from the show BUT in saying that, you have to let go of this hang up you have about status. let it go. it's not worth your time and quite frankly it's pretentious and it's not important. if you continue to be hung up on it, your children will see that (they likely already do) and they'll be the same way and noone likes pretention. reaching for the style section and praying you're in it or wishing you were in it, is so shallow. let it go and stop denying that you're NOT hung on it, because you clearly are.

Wow!! What a wild time you had!! You are aclassy lady. Keep up the good work. The gossip is horrible this season. What happened to Jill. Man that head is bigger than my mirror in my bathroom. I love your boys, they are so cute. I get a big kick out of Simon. He is so funny!! I love watching you on this show.

It was hard to read you the first season but over time it is apparant that you are far and above the rest of the "cast".

ALEX !! Alabama LOVES you ! Happy you put Jill in her place. When that woman talks it's like Wah wah bla bla bla.

I seem to remember Bethany bad-mouthing you MANY times in past. So why is it that you only hold resentments towards Jill & feel need to voice your anger towards her in a public place. I don't doubt that Jill has said nasty things about you, but so has every single one of the Housewives. If you had something to talk to Jill about, you should have taken her aside. Your excuse to why you didn't do that is ridiculous....if you really wanted to you could have asked her to talk away from everyone. You talk about Jill being in "Highschool" but what you did that night was classic Highschool behavior. If nothing else, you should atleast apologize to her for approaching it the way you did.
And remember, Bethany said many mean things about you BEFORE her friendship with Jill ended...of course she's going to be extra sweet to you right now bcuz she wants you on her side. The very fact that she asked you to, AND was pleased when u did, confront Jill FOR her shows how meanspirited you both are.

Honestly Alex, you are the only sane Housewife on the show. At last you had enough of the bickering, back stabbing and down right ludicrousy of at least three of the so-called housewives. Need I name them? I think not. Those who have regularly watched the show can see who changed for the bad as the years have gone by. Thank you for standing up to those who just do not count anymore. The women who do count on HWNYC keep professional women like myself coming back to watch. However, I am about ready to stop watching unless Kelly and The Countess (by marriage only) leave the show for good. Keep it up Alex. Your strengths give you so much power.

Alex, I watch you from week to week and wonder how the hell you manage to stay sane in the midst of such INsanity. If I were you I would have dropped out of this show long ago...but then I would miss hearing the voice of reason...

Alex - You have really come out of your shell this season! I wasn't sure that you had in it you, but you do! I'm impressed by all of the you who handled Kelly so well. What a train wreck!!

You have just risen above the crowd show after show. Like Grace Kelly, one does not have to shout, flaunt, be rude to be noticed. So..............there.............I'll just consider you our new Grace Kelly. Inner beauty illuminates a person from within, so you are beautiful in and out.

Alex, I have always liked you from the very first season, and even more now. It's pretty obvious from some of the comments that Jill has her minions working over time. I do find it curious what Bravo decides to publish and what it keeps back. Do you all get access to all the comments, or do you only get to the see the select ones that Bravo decides fits the script? I hope to see you next season.

I am afraid that you are the only dame among your cast members. As it is quite obvious that you are not friends and are just been placed in akward situations.
That been said, kudos to you for been able to look at the situation study it and coming for the best decisions considering the bone that is been thrown at you.

When are you going to come clean as far as the real reason you hate Jill so much? You claim it's comments she's made about you & your family. Come on. Your new Best friend Bethenny has made at least as many, if not more of those snipes, comments & one-liners about you & your family, yet you aren't telling her off every chance you get! Fess up!

Oh my! The mean girls have made it to your blog! You are not being used by Bethenny. You are your own woman and the friendships you have made have given you a voice. I am glad you spoke up to Jill. I think you are the only person on this series with any sense at all. You do not play sides. You look at what makes sense. Keep it up. Maybe some of the other shallow people on this show will take heed of your good sense and values.
