I'm not sure if you still read your older posts but i just wanted to leave a comment to wish you all the luck with your little princess. My boo was premature too but after 2 years of a rollercoaster he is perfect so keep your chin up and think positively.
It certainly does put relationships in perception. When your child is ill petty arguements with friends become irrelevant. Those friends who are worth hanging on to will be there for you and Bryn

I heard she had a heart attack and called her up immediately. We have renewed our friendship and have vowed never to get mad and stop speaking again. Life is too short. I've seen it, I know.

I just watched your show and you said you were scared that you rushed everything. My husband and I were seeing each other for 6 months, and then we found out we were pregnant, got married one month later. We had karley jan. 30th of 2005 and 8 weeks later we were doing it all over again. kendra was born dec. 16th of 2005. They are 10 1/2 months apart. First time parents had no idea what to do, but as soon as they give you that little baby your whole out look on life changes(for the better). If we could I would have 2 more the same way. bethanny and jason enjoy, relax and have fun.

I am so thrilled for you. I am so glad you are happy with all the great and wonderful things in your life. I must say You deserve them. I hope you have more children. You deserves a wonderful family . I have 3 grown children 1 daughter 2 sons, a 5 yr old grand daughter & a 2 yr old grand son. It's great.

I just wanted to say not to worry about those people who are worried about your post baby body. I too lost 45 in about 5 weeks after my son was born due to no special anything from myself; the weight just came off!! We are the lucky ones, they are just jealous they cant be this lucky!!! Jill makes me gag - she is the biggest whiner and always always always plays the victim. How pathetic. LuAnn seems to constantly get in the middle of everyone's situations and her best effort to help ease the tension is to make an exit. Geez! Keep on keepin' on....can't wait to see your new how.

My heart went out to you as you tried to navagiate your way through the many obstacles placed before you this season. Watching you come full circle to embrace the wonderful gifts you deserve made me happy for you as a viewer.Jason is a jewel and Brynn a joy to behold. I am so happy for your blessings, but sad at the same time because Jill realizes what she has lost in a friend like you. Although you may not be able to reconnect on the same level of trust as you once had, it was nice to see you two trying to reestablish a path of communication. Also, your friendships with the two least likely people you would have ever thought possible, was so much fun to watch develope. Alex and Ramona proved themselves to be trust worthy and loyal friends. Enjoy!

Bethany, if you let Jill back in your life you are inviting kaos. She had a few episodes with crocodile tears to gain some viewers pity. She is a self absorbed egotist that doesn't know the meaning of being a friend. Everything she does has a big price on it. I used to like her, I think now we have seen the real JIll Zarin and she wants you to let her back in so the viewers will also. Don't do it. She closed the door on you numerous ttimes, don't let her ever have that control again. She's a FAKE. You are eral & fantastic. Congratulations!

I have loved you from the beginning of RHONYC. You're a good soul. I'm sorry Kelly does not understand that there really is NO difference between cook and chef. My mother, untrained as she was, was still a chef in my eyes and the eyes of the restaurant owners who employed her. She was funny, beautiful and inventive in the kitchen (and everywhere, really). I wish she were alive today because she'd just eat up the chance to watch you!

I've tried some of your recipes with success. They are good dishes. I think Kelly is a complete nut job and I wish she'd get help. Also, I don't know how she is called "writer." I am a professional writer and have been for 15 years. That girl can barely form a sentence--I have never read her writing, but she can't speak which makes me think her writing must atrocious or heavily edited.

Keep on doing what you do! And your beautiful daughter is lucky to have you as her mommy. Bryn is the same name of a dear friend of mine from elementary and middle school who unfortunately passed away a few years ago (I'm 41--she was much too young). I think it's a beautiful name for a special child.

It IS hard when your baby is tiny - my daughter was my tiniest of the four kids and has those perfect rose bud lips which are pretty but so darn tiny that nursing with my huge breasts was really hard! But we kept on and it all works out!

Yea! Congratulations Bethenny! I just found out...I hadn't been on the blogs for awhile so I missed the announcement. You are going to be an awesome mommy. Breastfeeding is a task but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty cool. I never got there w/ my first, but did great w/ my 2nd. Formula is a god-send, too. Don't get me wrong - it doesn't matter as long as you both are happy. Happy mommy, happy baby! ; )

Congrats on your baby girl!! My youngest daughter was 4 lbs. 2 oz. and 6 weeks early - she spent 16 days in the NICU, but is now an extremely active 15 month old - she's still tiny, but she makes up for it in every other way! :)

I think you are the ONLY level headed one of the housewives. Really I couldn't believe the way Kelly acted on the trip. What I don't understand is why she didn't go home if she was so miserable, do they not have planes that come to the island! She obviously wasn't there for Ramona or anyone else for that matter. Really the first time I saw the episode I thought it was a "staged enactment" b/c it was so off the charts. I can't believe a grown woman really acts this way.. extreme high, extreme lows, gummy bears and lolipops, immature comments like zip it, the glares and faces she makes. I can tell you my daughter who is 3 years old has more self control.
LuAnn and Jill I agree need to get a LIFE! They are so focused on what everyone else is doing. They clearly have WAY WAY WAY to much time one their hands! I always thought having money would mean a stress free life, is this what people resort to when life gets easy! Yikes maybe working isn't so bad!

Bethany, you have obviously worked hard for everything you have and deserve these blessings. Jason and Bryn will give you new perspective on what is important, sadly it probably won't make for good TV - but that is probably ok. I hope that is behind you though, and I think it's admirable that you are concerned about Kelly.

BTW, thanks for your recipies - cook, chef, caterer, whatever, you've got talent, and it's stuff I can wip up on an evening after work without feeling guility over.

I just watched the new episode of housewives on n.y. and thought all you girls were mean as hell to Kelly. You call her crazy and say theres something wrong with her but if she says anything bad about you you girls jump on her and get all pissed off. And half the time your the one who starts stuff with her. So maybe take a step back and look at yourself.

Bethnenny, I do think you make a big mistake with how you treated Jill. I don't think she changed over night. I think people around you influenced how you view your "best friend". They are jelous of the relationship you had with Jill and try to destroy it for their benefits. Alex used you! If she has problems with Jill, then she should hatch it out with Jill. I know she said Jill do not listen, but it does not give her the right to embarrass someone like that. Jill always get your back whenever someone ie. Romona attacked you, but you have no sympathy for how hurt Jill feels after what Alex did. I disagree that Jill is only nice to people because he/she is an underdog. That is call a true friend. A true friend is someone who is there for you through tough times. (that is why Jill is so mad at you for not holding her hands when her husband is in the hospital).
So it's all a big misunderstanding btw the two of you. You tried to say sorry and she didn't hear you. Then she tries to say sorry but you don't care... WHY???
Again, I don't think she is a change person. You know the type of person Jill is from day one, and the two of you loves each other regardless. Stop letting others influence you.
I went through the samething in the past with my best friend. Now I really miss her and could not remember why I fought in the first place. Unfortunately it's too late for me to make up. You still can do it.
