First I would like to say that I am so grateful and appreciative of all the support I have been receiving. I answer every email and look forward to getting to meet so many new people.
I have not blogged up until now because I have a personal emergency in my family. One of our children has become gravely ill (not Allyson). He was admitted to the hospital by ambulance Tuesday night and has not improved. He is being transferred as we speak to another Hospital that has one of the best cardiac units in the country. He has a virus that has enlarged his heart and he is suffering terribly. We have only been home to shower over the last 48 hours. PLEASE pray for him. I know the power of hope and prayer is more powerful than anything.
I have read some of the blogs from the other ladies. All I have to say is, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything." I try to live by this motto (though I am not perfect). I loved this episode. I think it really gave the viewer an honest view (good or bad) of who I am. I think the viewers can see what really happened regarding the cooking party. I wasn't upset that I wasn't invited, only that Ramona lied to LuAnn about where I was.
The viewers were introduced to my "gay husband" Brad. Brad and I met through friends a long time ago and we have a very close relationship. He works with me at Zarin Fabrics as our creative director and we have decorated some of the most beautiful homes in The Hamptons. Brad was also a makeup artist early in his career as well as a stylist, so if you don't like my clothes sometimes, blame him! Just kidding, I pick out most of my clothes but like to blame him for fashion mistakes anyway! As you get to know Brad you will grow to love him like I do.
Jill, I adore you and everything about you! Your style is devine! I have got to know, all about your eye makeup.
My eyes are similar color to your's... do you wear Chanel?
Oh, Please do tell!
Many thanks,
Mindy
Hi Jill. First I want to say that I really enjoy your honesty and the fact that you seem very real. You say what you mean and mean what you say. I get lost in the episodes and I think it is great. I have actually contacted Bravo in hopes that they would use an idea of mine for a show regarding the gay community and it's variety. From men like my partner and I who have a son and are very down to earth home bodies to drag queens, club kids and yes people like YOUR GAY HUSBAND who is a very successful business man. If they do I can only hope that there are people that will participate that are as wonderful as you seem to be.
Thanks for caring so much and continue to be a wonderful caring person.
Hi Jill, First let me start by sayiny I hope your son is going to be alright...YOU r thr reason i watch this show...i lived in east hampton (year round) and always thought a show like this would ROCK!!!! I think i met brad at the swamp in east hampton afew years ago...REALLY SWEET guy...anyway keep up the good work and i TOTALLY want to visit ZARIN fabrics...FABRIC,FABRIC,FABRIC...LOL...LOVE you LOTS...Jeffery
I didn't know till recently that Jill had a gay husband! What is that all about? I guess that means she was married before and had her children. How long has she been divorced or without her other husband? I guess I am just a little confused and do enjoy watching but moreso when I understand a little better as to what is going on. I read that more will be revealed but I thought perhaps more was revealed in the first season and I missed it since I wasn't aware of this show. I was only aware of The Housewives of Orange County which I love most of the time. Please try to clarify as much as you can as I am starting to be a loyal watcher and Jill is one of my favorites and my prayers are with her and her son. Thanks, Kathy Frost
