Living in Manhattan is unlike living anywhere else. Although I do love to get away to The Hamptons just to see some green, the energy on the streets of New York is exciting. There's always something going on. I love fashion week, for example. I took in about 5 shows this year, and we've also gone to a few art gallery openings recently. Plus, it's easy to live a healthier lifestyle in the city because you can walk to most places you need to go.
Fast forward to "the day after." We previewed the first episode with over 500 family and friends at Touch in NYC Monday night. I watched the show tonight on Bravo with Bobby, Ally, Ginger and my parents at home. It felt surreal. Since the show has aired, I have been contacted by some old friends. I think hearing from them made all of this worthwhile for me -- I am so grateful to reconnect with them.
Jill, you have done your part with one step at a time. We cannot push our way back into people lives UNTIL they are ready. So, respect their wishes, especially as it pertains to Bethany. If she is NOT available, she is NOT. You are beautiful, loving heart and it is obvious that you want to make those chaanges in your life which will benifet yourself and others. Rest, believe and from the Old Testament come "Be still and know that I am God".
I know everything will work out and you have absolutely done everything a person can do to repair damages in the past. Now if you can rest in Him :)
I love your spirit, courage and continued effort to to on :)
Your sincere effort to express change, courage and loving heart was a challenge to me. Take care, Lynz2727
Hi Jill,
Although a lot of people including the cast of NYHW attacked you, you remained my favourite. I understand the importance of friendships' but I honestly didn't get why the other wives had issues with you. I think you are genuine and sincere. What you see is what you get. Perhaps a tweek here or there, but between Ramona, Alex & Bethenny (which are mirrors of each other) I wouldn't take their opinion of you seriously. I totally understand your reaction to Bethenny. Here you sit on the reuninon being torn to pieces by the people who call you a friend. Forgiveness is important, but this should be a huge eye opener for you. May you see who your true friends are. Going to high fashion events and great restaurants is awesome, but at the end of the day if you can't trust the person who you helped more than anyone else, who can you trust? Whatever you decide with Bethenny is up to you. I wish her the best, but I think she's an opportunist. She monopolized your relationship and as soon as she could do better she did. I hope you keep Kelly close, she needs a sincere friend. I hope you pray and keep God first in your life and I wish you and your family all the best. Peace and love. I don't think I can stomach the nastiness of the other women for a third season, but who knows.
You were alway's my favorite, grounded with value's great family. But this year you have become too Hollywood. Nothing natural nothing like you were.... Talk to Mother and Lisa you have lost all of your charm, and I am so disappointed in you... Now I like Sonya LuAnn is cheap no class and Kelly is an airhead. You are who you associate with.

Jill ,you and your wonderful family are uplifting to watch and listen to ,you are the best of the best. The other housewives are so fake and self centered ,so far you are the only houswife who truly has put her family first.Your daughter is beautiful and how refreshing to see a young girl who dresses like a young lady who respects herself.BEST WISHES AND PRAYERS
Jill,
I was very pleased to see that you stood your ground with the PetStairz. Considering that 60% of al pets sleep with their owners I was happy to see that you put the 6 step back in your house. Especially when your pet is used to sleeeping with you . Remember it is like the pet olympics when you are not at home. Protecting your peys joint health is a wonderful tribute to pet ownership. I appluad you Debbie Runge Owner and founder PetStairz dot com
I saw your post about Ramona being mean about Allison and Brad coming to her apartment.
First of all, I am not surprised about Ramona's reaction. Folks that have not had to cope with a chronic disease really do not "get it". Really sad because it sounds like Ramona's daughter might have arthritis issues.
I am happy that the good folks up at Mt. Sinai were able to help Allison. I've logged a ton of hours in the iv immune clinic room getting tnf's meds.
I wish that Mt. Sinai would consider starting an assisted living facility. Something that would cater to any age group that has a chronic disease that can live sort of alone but uses/needs the excellent medical services of Mt. Sinai in NYC. With real estate prices the way they are and, I think, Mt. Sinai having extra space not in use, it seems like it would be a win win.
I think that you are a terrific mom.
Hoping that Allison has a good week,
Martha
ps ~ still looking for a way to use ebay giving works to give some of proceeds from my sales to creaky joints :) Not sure that this is easy to do as I have been bugging CCFA NYC to sign up for donations to camp Oasis: camp for kids with crohn's disease
Jill, I have watched N.Y. Housewives since it started. I still like you,& the countess. Ramona is ditzy,Bethenny is needy,Kelly is full of herself & alex wears a pair of rose colored glasses, that said i wish you the best.
Jill, I so look forward to the show each week, mostly because yo are so entertaining, funny, and interesting to watch.
You have such a great, personality, and are so in touch and down to earth.
Your mother is also adorable.

Jill... I really thought that I was the only one who loved you. When I signed on I saw many others felt the same way. You make the show. The others have so many bad things to say behind their backs. NOT YOU!!
You have my accent and I love listening to you talk. I was from NY and now live in CT. Good ole Long Island, I always say to people hey Long Island we were raised to say....daddy I waaant that. LOL.Just wanted to say you are the best. However I want to say that the new chick that you are trying to get Bet and her together..Forget it, the new chick is sick... She is also a liar. Poor Bethany, she was so cool in the bar and that wacko went off on her, like what? then she had the nerve to tell other people that Bethany was crazy. No Bethany is sweet and being good, but that suppose MODEL, is not playing with a full deck. Half the time I think she is DRUNK!!
Okay just wanted to say ..You are keeping the show together!
jill ~ your the one that makes this show so real ~ love watching thanks ~ sue
After both of my parents died of cancer, I had a hysterectomy and double mastectomy. Also, my husband was diagnosed with M.S. Know what made me feel better than I had in a long time? Hearing your mom speak to Bethany. Your mother was kissed by angels the day she was born. What a wonderful woman! Does she have a web-site or answer personal e-mails?
Jill you are great -- you radiate happiness. Would love you to write a book; growing up, how you met Bobby, your travels, etc.
Jill, I too love your zest for life--your family--Bobby, Ally, Your Mom and Dad, your sister...you are blessed...as they are for having you!
Blessings and Hugs, Connie
Jill . . . you are so real, so genuine---I love your spunk. You, Bethanny and the Countess are full of class. Don't let anyone ever get you down. Never change, Sweetums---okay?
Jill, I hope your mom makes another appearance. I loved her and could just watch her mother everyone for hours! She can adopt me too. She was so sweet with Bethenny. You are all blessed.
Ms Lady.... I'm a African American Woman, Born and Raised in Brooklyn New York, Almost near 49 and I can clearly say..... You Go Gurl.... You are definitely the Bizness! Keep your head up and Bless You and your Family. PS...Your Mommy is a absolute Doll! You are so Lucky to have her in Your life. Good Luck and God's Speed!
Jill, i just wanted to get it out there and i hope u read these....but you are AWESOME. your like the friend i want in my life. sooo funny, and motherly- taking care of pple and caring about pple you love. I love your NY or Bronx type accent and the way you voice your opinions and how you always have an opinion but know when it's appropreiate(sp)to keep your mouth shut and be classy. You are just the appitamy of a great friend, classy, funny, caring beyond belief, opinionated and have such a great sense of life and pple. thanks for being on the show and bringing balance and class to it. Because in all honesty the ones you think would have class because they are supposeldy so refined because they've gone to boarding schools and have all this money, really aren't.
Dear Jill,
My mother and father divorced when I was a young child and they remarried soon after. Divorce in the 50's was not so in style and living in a small town in NJ it was the scandal of the year
When I gave birth to my two daughters my stepmother said she wanted to be called "Mommom" and now that they are both in their forties they still call her that! They say they don't know what else to call her. So keep this in mind while trying to think of a cute name now. Now that I think about it is Grandma Jill, Grandpa Bobby, etc. I hope that this email gets to you.
Judy
Jill, I was diagnosed with Still's Disease at age 27. I know Jill that your daugher does have jeuvenille arthritis I am greatfull to got that my son so far at age 25 has not been diagnosed. I know Jill that your son-in-law was diagnosed with Still's Disease I believe at age 25 with a heart attack. Jill please tell all you can or that you can bear to and any way I can help to spread the word that how young you can be to get RA. When I was first told, I thought the doctor was joking. I laughed. I couldn't believe that me, who was healthy up until that point with a two year old had RA. I was devistated, and I really knew nothing about the disease. And then three years later I had to have both my knees replaced. And a few years later, some more surgery. But there are those days that I cry all day, and then there are those days that I thank god because I have a beautiful 25 year old son (whose a good harworking boy) and a wonderful husband of 29 years. Who has stuck by me through everything from potty training our son, (who the mom usually takes of) to standing next to me so proud at our sons graduation, and also our beautiful 12 year old bichon frise who was a therapy dog for about 9 years who is not doing so good right now. This part was not easy for me to write, honest, I'm balling like a baby. But he is my baby and I can't imagine my life without him. So we have good times and we have not so good times in our lives. I would love to hear your story (not tv's story, although I do believe that what you talk about on TV is the real you) but if you had the time to share what you have learned over the years, good and bad I would love to hear from you. Sincerely, Kathleen Cruz
Jill,
Bethenny's right: to know you is to love you. The more I watch, the more I see how grounded you are. One thing: I don't know if I'd announce on tv where your daughter will be studying French this summer.
Jill, Your the best out of the group. Love your sense of humor and how you handle the crazy other two (the COUNTESS and the other blonde) Bethany is sweet, I feel for her, I don;t have an opinion on the new girl Kelly yet.
Your right tho I laugh and forget the days problems while watching.
Oh yeah I lived in Woodmere for 7 years and tell Bethany my brother-in-law is a Frankel from Brooklyn.
Jill, I love you and your zest for life. I also adore your daughter and think that your husband seems to be a great support for the both of you. When I visit NY, I also feel the same energy that you feel and hate when I have to come home.
