The Truth Hurts

This week's recap and family updates.

By Jill Zarin

Bethenny had you over to talk about her relationship troubles this week. Do you have any insights into the situation? Can you expand on the talk you had in general?

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

I love Bethenny. Why? I respect her. She is about the truth. Maybe her truth, but the truth. We don't always see eye to eye, as you will see in next week's episode (read between the lines!) but since I've gotten to know her, I know I can always count on her honesty. My mom is the same way; it hurts sometimes to hear it, but I always sit back and think about what they are saying to me and reflect. Bethenny loves Jason and Jason loves Bethenny. Period. I hope she continues to find balance between her career and what I think is really more important, her personal life. Her future.

You and LuAnn had a joint dog-training session this week. Have Ginger and Ally been getting along any better since then?

I loved watching this episode. I thought it was hysterical. Ginger is Ginger. Ally is Ally. Sometimes they fight like sisters, but most of the time they love each other like sisters. P.S. -- Ginger is cuddling with Bobby right now!

And anything else you'd like to talk about!

jill_105_02.jpgI love looking back at some of the outfits I wore. I loved the orange shirt I wore to Luanne's. I don't know if you noticed, but it is made from the same fabric in Allyson's room! We sell them in the store. We started a line of Dress Shirts, Cooper Boles By Zarin, made from drapery fabric a few years ago. I ran into Carson Kressley last night at a charity event, Skating with the Stars, at Wollman rink, and he told me he loved his white and blue toile dress shirt he has from Zarin Fabrics. We can make them in any fabric from our store. On another note, my mom says I should throw out my ripped jeans!

Life is changing for us everyday. I am continuing to receive lots of fan emails from all over the world and I try to answer as many as possible. I will start a newsletter soon on my website, jillzarin.com, and answer some of the questions you have regarding clothes and jewelry I wore and other favorites of mine. Please sign up for the newsletter when it is updated!

Our stepson is still in the hospital. It has been 3 1/2 long weeks. He is improving slower than we expected but are hopeful he will be home soon. Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. Keep the information coming on STILLS disease to jillzarin.com,.

I am continuing to help my sister, Lisa Wexler, with her Live With Lisa show. I was on it last week and hope to be a guest on again soon. If you want to hear some professional advice I heard from a guest on her show, you can go here. I brought her to a fundraiser for DIFFA tonight and introduced her to many people in the design field as potential guests on her talk show. Next week my my mom and I go to Lisa's house for a ladies lunch and tape a segment for her show! Bobby is the BEST and has been working on some major real estate projects, and Allyson is back to school full force. Last night though, she was honored with a recognition for her participation with Creaky Joints, a website and information center about arthritis, and we are all very proud of her.

Thank you all for your wonderful emails and comments. I read them ALL! Remember -- if you see me on the streets of New York, don't be a stranger and say hi!

Enjoy the show, Jill
