Were i love washing your because i think your are so fine that i think you my angle from above and keep looking fine as your are your biggest fan
One night at Delicatessen for dinner I asked my daughters Sea and Teddy, "What's Playboy magazine?" My daughters were so cute and shy about filming. I felt for them as I had to ask them questions that normally would only be discussed only between us. The scene was so funny. Teddy was ready to film and had fun with it, whereas Sea was just sweet little Sea trying to get through it. Sea and Teddy didn't see anything wrong with Playboy as they came to the studio, saw their dad and mom working together, and saw the pictures that my assistant had taken. It's work, like filming on the The Real Housewives of New York City is work. They don't see it as anything else. I loved the back and forth about what a good parent is: pretty, hard working, and fun. As for the other Housewives, I think any woman would be envious that I was chosen to be in Playboy. It is the ultimate stamp of approval that you are a beautiful and sexy woman. I have never thought of myself as beautiful or sexy. When I was younger people kept pushing me to model so I tried it. I was asked by Playboy and they let me choose any photographer I wanted, so I immediately chose my ex-husband, Gilles.
My scene with Jill at my home was hysterical. Everyone, even bloggers, is obsessed with the date of Playboy etc. I was asked to be on the cover, they told my agent it was going to be one date, another, celebration of this, etc. I kept it real on RHNYC. Whatever happens to me is in real time. If you think it's confusing, it's because modeling dates and issue releases are constantly changing. It's the nature of the beast. I love my job, and have fun with it.
In my next scene, LuAnn invites me to Fashion Night Out. The party was packed and was a great opportunity to get New Yorkers excited about fall and spending money. The ladies were all ready to go, I had a good time, but I am still warming up to everyone. I am still the observer. A few days later, I saw Bethenny at the Jill Stuart fashion show for the first time since I went to her 'drink' launch in Montauk last summer. I am so grateful for all of my opportunities and have been working since I was sixteen. I have two girls and we have a lot of fun, but when I work, I work. I don't wear my work on my sleeve, nor do I complain about it. I welcome opportunity and constantly seek out new ones. I am a single mom. I have to work. And I want to be an amazing provider for my girls. I don't need to talk about what I do, I just need to get my work done.
Were i love washing your because i think your are so fine that i think you my angle from above and keep looking fine as your are your biggest fan
You have no morals what so every and yet you come off as if you do. You took off all your clothes just like a prostitute for the whole world to see. And you make comments like, "I don't mess around with anyone" or something to that affect. No, you just display your nude body to everyone in the world for a profit. I give up.
Actually, cold blooded refers to animals who have no internal furnace and require the sun to warm them. So if ya'll want to split hairs, Kelly cannot possibly be cold blooded because she has an internal furnace. She does not need dead animal's to keep her warm. She lives in the clothing and fabric capital of America and can get any type of material she desires; layer it up and she can be just as warm if not warmer than wearing dead animals. And besides---SHE WAS NOT WEARING THAT FUR VEST TO BE WARM. SHE WAS WEARING IT TO BE TRENDY. There's a big difference between wearing fur in order to ensure one's survival and wearing it just because you want to.
To Kelly....I don't mean to be hurtfull...but think about how the horse you like to ride would feel if he was treated like the animal you like to wear.
To "P"...I liked your comment.
You keep saying you are in the 40th Anniversary Issue. I thought they already did 55th Anniversary. I thought it was a model search on The Girls Next Door. I am confused.
Wearing fur is everyone's right however wearing fur DOES support animal crulety. So your statement made absolutely no sense. If you want to believe in something educate yourself before you speak. Faux fur is just as stylish and doesn't torture animals!!
I saw a picture of you on TV in the PB spread and I thought it was Cindy Crawford. Its apparently one of the pics inside. I had the t.v. on mute and couldnt hear who it was and when they came back from commerical and showed it again I was like, "Hey, its Kelly. I know her!!" My daughter will call me a dork for that. (hate when she does that) Your daughters are gorgeous. Wish we could see more of them. YOu must be doing something right!!
Did you see the episode of Chelsea Handler when she commented on your absurb PETA comment "Peta says its ok to wear fur...they just don't want you abuse animals" She nailed it when she said "I think the Chinchilla who's hide you ripped off to make that coat would disagree". Thank You for saying such an absurb and ignorant comment on national tv...it made every fur wearer out there look bad..as they should!
I would love to buy a vowel please.... for Kelly. I really like you but I think you need to think a little more before you speak. You said you wear fur but dont abuse animals, then you said maybe later you might become vegetarian and might not wear fur but for now your cold blooded. Hmmmmm. Ok first of all you are abusing animals because they kill them for the fur. i just find it hard to follow you cause you make one statement then another time its a completely different view.
I think you should know the fur you wear belongs to animals they KILL for the fur.I also think you should know we being HUMAN are not cold blooded perhaps you are you wear fur. Humans are warm blooded.I am not a member of PETA. I am just a warm blooded animal lover.
Hey Kelly, It is totally up to you on whether you wear fur or not. But don't flaunt it and then say you don't believe in abusing animals and don't try to quote PETA when you have no clue what you are talking about. You are just trying to throw it out there that you have money and you want to spend it on things that are unimportant. You just have fun being in your 40's and acting like you are in your 20's. Grow up.
Kelly, I thought you were the coolest of the housewives until your flip, naive comment about fur. "I don't support abuse of animals, I do wear fur." If you purchase fur, then you support the abuse of animals. That's like saying you don't support sexual abuse of children, but you do enjoy watching kiddie porn. I can't believe that you are actually so dumb as not to make that very obvious connection. It has nothing to do with PETA. They can be overboard sometimes, but I'm sure you can find a video online that shows you how the fur is obtained from these beautiful, innocent creatures just so you can get a little ego boost. It's very easy to find extremely realistic looking and feeling fake fur these days - so if you need "the real thing" that means you are so insecure that you want people to know you have money. And you give that money to people who torture animals. Not sure how that makes you feel good about yourself, but...wow...
Kelly - "I'm not abusing animals. I'm just wearing fur."
What planet do you live on? Since when is fur cruelty free? IT'S EXTREMELY CRUEL TO BE ELECTROCUTED, DROWNED AND SKINNED ALIVE ALL IN THE NAME OF FASHION. I believe that you are a good person - just a little uneducated in the area of where "fur" actually comes from. Educate yourself about this dispicable act and then you might have a change of heart.
As for the "fur" comment.... someone should tell her to watch the videos of the Canadian seal slaughter.... maybe she'd have a different opinion about wearing fur! In support of the seal campaign, I will no long be watching this show!

Kelly, You are much more kind this year. I have to say, I have know idea what you were trying to say in your blog. It's repetetive and vague and self-promoting. Check your past blogs, you've already told us you started working at 16, and I'm not sure why we are supposed to care.
Kelly. The decision to wear or not wear fur is entirely your own. However, please be careful about making statements on behalf of PETA. You stated that PETA does not say don't wear fur, they say don't abuse animals". PETA does say, don't wear fur AND don't abuse animals.
Kelley you are so differant and (wierd) that it reads well in tv. I dont know why you havent done any acting instead of modeling. Would love to see you as the next it girl(your eccentric sexy funny and charming in your own way). One thing and im sorry to tell you this, you are very immature and i can not believe how some in her 40's can be so dumb!! The first season you were running around new york (literaly like you belong in zoolander) that stupid!! But you should realy channel your energy and focus into hollywood would love to see you on the big screen or tv shows (other than realty)
I love your over the knee boots that you wore to the Jill Stuart fashion show. I'm 6'1" and have wanted a pair for years, but they are always to short with 4" heels. What brand are they?
For all the people who keep mentioning Chinese fur farms, please be advised that NOT ALL fur that comes into this country comes from China. If you will look at industry statistics, 70% of fox and beaver come from Norway. They electrocute the animals there, not skin them alive. Most of the dog and cat fur that originates in China is sold in Eastern European countries where people are less sensitive to animal cruelty. Fur products that come into the U.S. have to be identified with country of origin and also what type of fur. The U.S. does not allow the import of cat or dog fur products (although testing is not 100%.)
It's lost in translation. From those that live in the Hamptons or a luxury condo in Manhattan, to those of us with limited resources walking through each day, trying to decide who to save. Giving what small resources we to save bears from being torn apart by dogs for sport in far off lands, to horses being starved in Texas. To see those most privileged, those who could do the most, concerned only with how "cute" they look after a life, is destroyed for that reason only. It's impossible to get through.
Kelly, use caution in your new alliances with Jill and Luann. They will turn on you like they did on Bethenney. They have included you because they feel stronger in numbers. You owe Bethenny an apology for the way you attacked her in the bar!
I love that you state that you eat meat & wear fur!! Me too!!! I am so proud that you proclaimed that on Nat'l TV!! So many celebrities are afraid to do that in fear of PETA ramifications! I didn't think I liked you last season, but you have definitely changed my mind this season!! You are a beautiful woman & a great mom!! You remind me so much of my girlfriends (I have very few because I don't like drama) & I.... we are all mothers & we hate getting involved in the drama drama drama situations.
KUDOS to you!
Kelly, I'm liking you much more than last season, but I am really having a hard time with you wearing fur. You say that you don't support animal cruelty (so, in your mind, that makes wearing fur OK), but......didja know that these animals DIE solely for the purpose of "donating" their coats so people like you can wear their fur?? Um....that sounds like animal cruelty to me. PLEASE consider wearing faux fur.
Kelly I rarely post but I feel compelled to write this. I always found you funny and quirky on the show, but when it comes to fur I truly believe you need to understand that although you do not abuse the animal directly, you pay money into an industry that does. Look at videos of Chinese fur farms, and the tactics used on other animals... in china these animals (including dogs and cats) are skinned alive and left in bloody piles to die.
There is nothing wrong with changing your mind, and moving forward with new understanding. You are influential and have the capacity to show people that it's ok to change your mind about ideas you have had all your life if it is to end cruelty.
Take care xx
For your information only. Just so you know what PETA's stance really is. It's informative. But it's up to each individual to decide.
Kelly, Love your personality & the way your mind works. Get a kick out of watching the rest of the cast try to decipher your "Kellyisms". (Your cast mates can sometimes be dense.)
Your daughters are beautiful, bright & charming. Congratulations on raising such precious children.
While your Playboy appearance was iconic (& I never saw Alexis' infamous photos of last season so cannot comment) Bethenny's decision to do her PETA nudity was a strange career move simply because, unless she is a vegetarian, wears no leather apparel or accessories & uses no products (beauty, cosmetic, household) that have been tested on lab animals, she is decidedly not representative of the PETA philosophy. Can we say "series spin off"?
Keep tweaking everyone's brains. You're great.
I love Kelly this season! I think it was great to do the playboy shoot! I think you are right to stay out of the Jill/Bethany thing and if I were you I wouldn't trust Jill or Luann quite yet it seems like they are just being nice to you to have you against Bethany...
It looks like you try to be "eclectic" and it isn't genuine. I have no issues with you posing for Playboy, but then again I don't hold it in high regard either and it doesn't surprise me that you do.
the problem isnt about just wearing fur or eating meat, its that no one understands how that fur came about. the animals are not just killed for fur. they get skinned alive for their fur. i dont care if you eat meat or like animals, its about the inhumane way it happens. kelly your a great woman i just wish that you could have know the real truth behind fur
Kelly don't you get the inconsistency in your statement.; "I love fur and will wear it, but I am against any animal cruelty". Do you know how animals are raised/trapped and killed for your fashion. Once you learn you will understand that at least for the present, animals suffer so that you can wear fur.
You have great style!! In the last episode you were wearing great boots while trying on a great fur vest. Where did you buy those boots and who make them?
Kelly, why would you put down Bethany's PETA shoot and say yours is better? Atleast Bethany was doing something for a cause unlike you.
I am a midwest girl myself that loves wing and beer. I am very glad you stood up against peta! Have you heard about HSUS. They are an activaitest organization that is worse the PETA. They are starting one state at a time to band animal agriculture. That means no more steak, no more chicken, no more fur, no more make up made from animals! We need to stick together! I am glad we have a celebrity that is supporting us. The midwest girls who eat meat and ENJOY it!
There sure are a lot of people out there who support you and your weak defense of why you have a right to wear fur. (Because you are American????) Please consider that you could use your American wealth and privilege to speak up for something more important than your vanity. Think of all the suffering that is caused by the ridiculous and outdated American concept that wealth should be displayed at all times, in every form, at any cost.
Kelly, I am glad to read what you posted because when you were on t.v. it seemed like you were putting everything off on Bethenny. I am beginning to like you because you are all about you and not speaking in others business like LuAnn. I think that the playboy shoot was a very good business move and you are a business lady. You should stay neutral, keep taking care of those kids, and keep the arrogance it really is for you. Love u
Kelly, After watching this weeks episode I had to get on your blog and comment about the fur statements you made. First, I am not a member of PETA and actually don't agree with alot of what they stand for. I am also not a vegetarian...I eat meat (from organic free grazing farmers). However, I am an animal lover and the fur industry has extremely cruel practices. You made the statement "I don't support animal cruelty but I do support wearing fur." Well, wearing fur IS supporting animal cruelty. There are many faux fur alternatives out there that are just as stylish. I am not trying to tell you what to support, just educate yourself before you subscribe to certain beliefs.
I never comment on TV blogs, but I had to in this case. The part of last week's show in which you talked about fur, PETA, etc was odd. First, I am NOT a radical animal rights activist and no, I don't work for PETA. I happened to see video on furisdead dot com and I was shocked and sickened to see how fur is processed. Kelly, please take 2 minutes out of your day to check this out. If anything, it will give you another perspective. Knowledge is power and as Maya Angelou so eloquently says, "When you know better, you do better." After watching this, you will see there is better out there- faux fur! Best wishes for a better "furless" tomorrow!!!
Hi Kelly, I just love you and your girls. You are a kind sincere, generous person. Any negativity from others is pure jealousy. Funny everyone had an opinion on your decision to pose for playboy. It's easy to pass judgement from the sidelines. I don't think any of them received a call from the playboy mansion.....ever. I love your website, it really reflects who you are. Take care and just keep being you. I am on Jill's team but would happily be on yours too. Mary Ann
Kelly, How exactly can you wear fur and eat meat and not support animal cruelty? Are you aware of the treatment of animals within these industries at all?
I love your blog and dislike the way people talk about you on the show. You are honest, true and as the saying goes living in the moment! (We chould all learn from you.) To me if you get your words mixed up now and then well welcome to the real world! I think the other people, husbands, wives, friends must practice over and over so they can appear to be perfect. Your blogs prove your intelligence. Don't change, and I agree with your other bloggers. If we eat me, don't waste the animal wear the fur!!! I particulary like to wear leather, that doesn't mean I go up to the arctic and club baby seals, you looked great in that fur vest/coat! Don't Change you are a wonderful mom.
Yeah Kelly! You did a fantastic job in the last episode! I mean how retarded is PETA? Those animals will die one way or another (I mean, everything dies, right?). It's like, we're just helping it along. And with all that cattle and chickens around, if you don't eat those chicken wings, they'll probably all just kill and eat each other. And that would be a form of canibalism. By eating meat and wearing fur, we're just keeping them from going to hell. ('cuz canibals go to hell). Anyway, I'm really glad you referenced America in you're defense of meat eating. I mean, its the American way, right? We are a special country: anyone can choose to eat meat or wear fur or kill whales/dolphins or carry guns. It's our RIGHT. And these animals are a nusance - remember the one that killed the woman who fed it. Good thing there taking care of it right now. Anyway, thanks for standing up for the good old american values. It sad that our god needs defending at this time, in this economy. But Jesus will come and save those of us who are true to our faith. Those of us who believe in what's right.
I had a question about your comments in the last episode. You said:
“Peta isn’t saying don’t wear fur. They are saying don’t abuse animals. I am not abusing animals, I am just wearing fur. I’m not afraid of fur. Do I wear fur? Yes! Do I support the abuse of animals? NO!"
How do you suggest we obtain the fur without harming the animal? Maybe let it die from starvation or perhaps hold on to it until it dies in captivity and we can remove the fur before its decays? Please realize that I am being sarcastic. There is no way to acquire animal fur without causing harm for the animal.
Kelly, This has been haunting me for the last couple of nights, so I have to share with you my honest response to the latest RHNYC episode. I'm not an animal activist, but I am a vegetarian who believes that we have a responsibility to others, including animals and our environment. I'm not saying that it's always easy, but I think everyone should put some effort into minimizing animal cruelty and environmental destruction. And buying fur coats because you're "cold-blooded" (which actually means "lacking feeling or emotion" - from dictionary.com) doesn't help either cause one bit. This isn't about PETA, it's about you're responsibility as a human being and as a mother of two children who will inherit this world as we leave it. It also seems as though you made a dig on PETA and animal rights just because Bethany was doing her campaign. Why do you care so much that you have to go out of your way to buy fur and belittle animal rights organizations? Just focus on your own life and carry on, like Bethany does!
Why are PETA supporters so abusive to people and love to attact anyone that doesn't share their beliefs. I love my pets and support SPCA but I too wear fur. That is my choice as it is my choice to make my pets part of my family. However, I won't be adopting any wild animals that would tear my beloved dogs to shreads. Too many things are taken to extreems and people with opposing views shouldn't be attacked and degraded.
I'm sick of the self righteous, all knowing and overly offended.
I'm also tired of people disecting your every word and looking for anything negative in order to attact you. What does that say about them? People that say they are cold blooded and like to wear a warm fur are simply saying they get cold and need warmth. Is this really so difficult to understand??? We all know what you meant but some need to attack other's unnecessarly.
If you spoke to and about people the way Bethenny does I think people would stone you in the streets. Yet she is praised, so hypocritical.
I hope you keep your positive attitude and don't let the attackers faze you, living well is the best revenge!
