Like Being Back In High School

Playing the peacemaker is a full time job.

By Luann de Lesseps

How do you feel about the tension between Ramona and Jill? Is it difficult to be in the middle of that at all? What are your thoughts on the cooking party drama? Speaking of the cooking party, why were you not terribly excited to go?

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

Its weird, its like being back in high school. I try not to get involved in their disputes and if I do it's all about keeping the peace. I love to cook and like to learn new recipes but too many women together on any occasion is always something I try to avoid. This episode saw your daughter competing in an equestrian event. Can you elaborate on what that whole world is like?

It's a world of its own. People from all over the world compete with their horses. Victoria is dedicated to riding and has been since she's 5. It's very impressive to see such dedication to a sport. Once I put her on her pony for the first time, I knew it would her passion. My husband's family were avid equestrians since the days of Napoleon, so it runs in her blood.

How has life been since the premiere episode aired?

Great, people are starting to recognize me and have been complimentary about my part on the show. By the way, when I said "I don't feel guilty about being privileged" I don't, I am lucky not guilty and I do everything I can to help others. This you will see in the upcoming episodes.
