There are sooooo many things I would like to say to you but for now just this. You are a first class hypocrite. You tore into the "she-devil" for calling you a snake. You tore into Alex for "taking sides"? Are you serious? I could go on and on and on and on but I'm getting my hair done. So ta ta not so darling.

This entire season you are behaving as if you have to prove something to the world after your divorce. Instead of Bethenny telling Jill to get a hobby she should have told you to get a hobby. You are clinging to Jill as if you and she are lovers. Why were you so offended when Bethenny came over to see Jill? That was not about you, that was about two friends attempting to repair and mend a friendship find you a man and chill the hell out. Also you are no longer a Countess you are just LuAnn you lost that title when you lost your husband.

People please remember this is a show!!! Secondly, remember that only small portions of the entire tapings are shown in each episode....I guarantee you that the portions used are the most juicy to keep everyone watching :0) And finally if you don't agree with the way some of these people are living their lives then use this time to reflect on your own and improve it! Say what you will about the countess, but she has nice children. I am sure that much of the show is edited for maximum drama and thus not very reliable. One thing that seems accurate, however, is that the de Lesseps children are well mannered, gracious and kind. I was especially impressed by their display of gratitude towards their housekeeper when she gave them presents on her return from her vacation. Rosie seems like a wonderful woman and to the childrens' credit, they appear to recognize that and appreciate her. I can't say that is typical of most 12 and 14 year olds.

It is unfortunate that Countess LuAnn chooses to amplify her husband's French lineage rather than her own Native American heritage. The de Lesseps led a company which used Egyptian slaves to build the Suez Canal. And, despite what Bravo & LuAnn say, the deLesseps did NOT build the Panama Canal; the French floundered trying to build a lock-free canal. Teddy Roosevelt and American ingenuity are responbile for the waterway that connects the higher Pacific sea level with the lower Atlantic sea level. ... perhaps the Countess needs a history lesson??....

Its hard to think anything more obselete in this economy and culture than the title of "Countess". Referring to yourself in the third person is a sign of a narcissistic personality disorder.

As a west coaster, seeing the NYCity side of life is absolute fun for me. it's a world i never imagined.

I had to laugh when you had the nerve to get up and reprimand the guests at the awards dinner. YOU were doing all the talking while the speaker was attempting to announce you. LuAnn and Alex/Simon are the most pathetic people on this show. I have never seen a more self-absorbed, snobby person than LuAnn "The Countess". She actually makes me ill. Alex and Simon are too hard for me to even watch. These two are complete wannabees. Maybe instead of shopping, they should start shopping for their home. What a dump!

I think you may have the kind of experience to attempt writing a book on manners, and you try to handle the most embarrassing situations with as much poise as possible. Everyone makes mistakes. I don't agree that you don't spend enough time with your children. It is not like you are out every night, running the streets.

COUNTESS How many years of your life did you spend drinking out of a bottle before you were no longer allowed to do so? You are one of my favorite's I must say. You and Bethenny for different reasons. I admire the class you show when you rise above the pettiness of situations. The way you take appropriate approaches to handle conflict. There is NOTHING wrong with having manners and being distinguished. If it makes other people feel insecure about themselves, that has no reflection on you. It's a demon they have to face. You are awesome. You make me aspire.

Some viewers find your title offensive and thereby your pride in self to be off putting. I enjoy your down to earth manner with one teeny exception. Is it really necessary for you to tell everyone within earshot (where ever you go) that you are a countess? It just seems strange that you feel compelled to let everyone know that. Plenty of people hold titles (i.e. PHD, Dr., etc) and don't feel the need to introduce themselves as "Hi, I'm a PHD and winner of a lifetime achievement award for discovering the cure for the common cold". The PHDs or Drs. actually had to accomplish it via hard work rather than hardly working.

Glad to have you back! I thought you were great last season and I still do! What really amazes me is how some people can dis an independent,capable,educated,classy and beautiful woman such as yourself. I think some people are threatened by a woman who talks intelligently and has impeccable manners. I think they feel most women should be like motormouth Bethenny who shoots from the hip and often ends up with her foot in her mouth (sorry but I find that womans' caustic observations irritating!)By the way I find your choice of friends, especially Jill Zarin, in keeping with your good taste. Jill is also one of my favorites and she would be my choice of a friend as well. So don't change a thing, we all love you and it is good to see you again!

I, too, was fond of you during the 1st half (ish) of Season 1. However, I did lose a lot of respect for you when your son apparently needed (still needs?) more time with you /nights with you home. You basically blew him off when he said his friends parents were home every night & you are never home. Then when the Housekeeper commented on it - you claimed it was about your husband when you knew damn well it was about you, too. Stop writing and start reading a self help book on parenting!!

Real class is treating people with respect regardless of their income or zip code. By looking down your nose at those you deem unworthy and beneath "the countess", you only show how undeserving you are of any title. I'm sure the "real society" of NY is laughing it's royal arse off at this group of wanna-be ladder climbers.

Thanks to the people who also noticed the 'Countess' talking about herself in the 3rd person; The Countess doesn't drink from a bottle. LuAnn, you are the only one who thinks you're important, get a grip.
