I'm so happy, we the viewers finally see the truth about how really special you and Ramona are as a married couple as well as great friends. You have a lovely family and I am sure The Singers are the envy of your circle of aquantainces. Everything you and Ramona do with your friends is very well planned and thoughtful. I hope you are appreciated by your friends. Caring, fun people like yourselves are a rarity in today's society. I can see why Jill was so gung ho the last seasons to make you out to be the bad guys, but eventually the truth comes out. Might I add Avery has blossomed into a beautiful intelligent young lady. To all you haters, stay away from Mario's blog if you don't like what or how he states the truth and leave room for the rest of us who love his straight talk, we all deserve his take on the show! Mario love Ramona, we all can learn from how she has directed her life. She is a genuine woman who only want peace and love! All would have worked out between Jill and Bethenny at your home the day Ramona brought them together, but LuAnn freaked-out and desperately could not have that happen for fear of losing her only friend Jill! I think things in the end worked out the way it should be. Jill does not deserve any close relationships at this point--her need for total control in relationships is what ruined her "CIRCLE OF FRIENDS" and now she is experiencing life alone (at least on the housewives.) Everyone has moved on without the need for Jill and her foul take on the world. Everything out of her mouth is an insult at anyone in her direction. It is no longer funny or amusing to me the things that come out of her mouth. In the past I thought they were cute, but then I realized that this was hurting EVERYONE IN HER PATH, then it was just plain disgusting! Ramona deserves much more respect than how I have seen her treated by Jill. Jill has made fun of Ramona for too long. Ramona is a true lady and you are very lucky to have found her! Keep her happy Mario she deserves your love and respect forever!

Short and to the point! So like a man, and Much needed! All the Haters that say you shouldn't blog... guess what YOU'LL shouldn't post! He's on the show and he has a perspective, a blog is for sharing that perspective! HELLO?!? Don't get mad because (like Al Sharpton said) "You can't handle the truth!!" ROTFL Ahh... Kelly, she adds such humor to my week. Unfortunately, its at her own expense. Anyways, keep sharing your side of the story. Men can cut through the b.s. whether their wife is involved or not, and like one poster said earlier you've been dead on in your analysis of people's characters since the beginning so I trust your viewpoint. And not only was Jill being hypocritical with her ambush tactic, it was a "girls weekend" and she brought Bobby. I know she remembers how Ramona feels about hubby's at "girls" only events (and rightfully so) and I remember Jill having a snarky comment/facial expression or two when Alex brought Simon to the girls only night in season 1(i think it was season 1). I agree with you 100%. Jill just wanted to get camera time. If she really wanted to make up with Bethenny she would have done it off camera. I felt Ramona planned a lovely trip and it was ruined by Kelly. Kelly needs professional help. She talks nonsense and acts like a victim when in essence she is the one who caused all the discomfort on the trip. The main problem with Kelly is that she does not have the intelligence to understand the dry humor of Bethenny.

Of course you will say what we saw was the truth, because what your wife told you happened coincided with it. You however are biased. You don't in-fact know the truth because, you were not there, Mario. I will say Ramona's behavior has improved quite a bit. It would seem that she saw herself over the last few seasons and decided she needed to change (for the better, of course).

In all honesty though, I think the NY cast should be changed to "Real Househusbands of NY." You are all more entertaining, classy, and fun-spirited then those crazy ladies. How about it, Bravo? Do a trial episode for us?

your comment about jill putting the positive spin on her actions SO true. i'm watching an earlier episode (thank you bravoTV for playing them before the Finale) ... any who ... this is the episode when we first found the separation of jill and bethenny ... bethanny goes out of her way to greet to both jill and luann at this fashion show and they call her phony but yet the night bethenny announced her engagement jill greets her like no time has past (albeit it was minutes to bethenny leaving the event).

Hey Mario, great post. I can't stand Jill, she annoys me so much. I'm not a big Bethanny fan either. I feel bad for Kelly she is stupid /beautiful and needs to get off the show. Luanne, Jills follower, looks like thats her new religion. I like Alex and Simon, they're funny and a good couple like you and Ramona. I'm glad your wife opened up about her father. It was kind of nice knowing someone else had a bad childhood and did pretty good for themselves and found a good husband, -stay true...dont be like these other guys.

Hi Mario, Contray to what another poster said, I like your blogs.Men see things in a different way sometimes.Jill was wrong to crash the party.She had issues with Bethenny, with Alex, had gotten so angry with Ramona about her not saying anything about Bethennys Fathers death, and she had declined the trip.She should have called first.I have always loved Jill but I think she really has such a priviliged life that she doesn't even realize that she can't do whatever she wants.As I said I love Jill and always have, but I think she's going through a bad time and i don't know why...It can't just be about Bethenny ...or is it that she's not in control, I don't know. Good for you for not giving LuAnne the apology she dogged you about and at the most inappropriate times. An apology was not owed, and, bless your heart, none was given.

Once again Mario you don't fail me....Your blog is one sided and heresay. If you are going to make comments (which I wish you wouldn't), you should stick only to what we saw on the show, not what "supposedly happend". And if you do, like the comment that Jill tried to get the other ladies to not go on the trip, then back it up with proof. Last time I looked it was Real Housewives of NY, not husbands.

We need proof and we want the cameras to give it to us, not your blog. You should comment on what we saw on the show. We don't want second-hand gossip from Ramona telling you that Jill was trying to destroy her plans. If Jill really did try to keep everyone away then shame on her. If it was just speculation on your part based on a few comments you heard, shame on you for mentioning it and trying to make her look bad. Like a dog with a bone. Won't you leave Jill alone.

Mario dear, answer me this please: What is it that makes Ramona want to stay friends with Jill? Ramona is constantly patching and putting bandaids on that friendship. And for what? Is Jill's friendship worth it? I don't see it. Jill has snarked her way through this whole season, and Ramona has received the brunt of her insults and insinuations.

Have you got a brother hanging around? Uncle? I LOVE how spportive you are of your wife and that you're an involved Dad. Avery's a lovely, bright young woman and that's at least partly due to the fact that she has great parents.
I so enjoy your blogs; spot on. Is Kelly as unbelievably dull and vacuous as she comes across on TV? I can't imagine accepting an invitation to such a glorious trip only to sabotage it the way she did. Had I been there, I'd have slept with door securely locked and possibly a knife under my pillow. On the very few occasions that I've tried to rationalize Killy's behavior, I think back to her reaction to Bethenny's lovely gift bags and metaphorically slap my face to get over it. Hallo Mario! you are so right .....it was ambush to use Jills way (poor Bobbie).......and surprisssssse was yelled out like coming from a drill-sergeant, when she opens the mouth it is commands and demands, its here I am here I come, like a bulldozer ......awful, I would love to be a fly on the wall, when she see herself???....and cudos to your wife Ramona, she was a great host ....and took good care of her guests......she knew how to take special care of Bethanney and Alex, and thanks God for Sonja Morgan, she was defusing and ironing out all the time.. a great great friend!!........

Am I the only one who remembers how mean and rude Jill was to Ramona in reference to the news of Bethenny's fathers death? Also, while at the 4 Seasons she made it clear that her plans depended on who else was going on the trip. Why would you want someone who laughs at your renewal to be along on such a great trip? Jill only showed up because she couldn't stand that things were happening without her- she wanted more material for gossip!

Ramona is such a breath of fresh air this season. It's nice to see how forgiving and relaxed she is in all the drama. I hope she is able to renew herself ever summer and keep it going. It's got to be difficult with all the drama around.

I enjoy hearing your take on things and I Love your new wife, she is a whole new woman this year and all for the better. If all the woman could be like her as far as letting their feeling out but not holding a grudge and saying your sorry when it is necessary they would all be happier and have less drama week after week. Her party was out of this world and I am sorry it wasn't as perfect as she had hoped but Thanks to her and Sonja doing everything possible to keep the peace it did turn out pretty well considering. I think you have Jill's number which is pretty clear to most watching that she lives to get others on her side and was disappointed that Romonia didn't change her plans after making such a special point to invite her in the first place. Good for Romonia not letting her dictate who her friends should be according to Jill. She only hurt herself in the end. By missing out on a fabulous trip. I Love watching your whole family on the show and look forward to watching you re new your vows.

Your take on things is both insightful and humorous! Bobby is not a good actor and while I felt sorry for him initially, he should not have spent all that money to watch his wife be humiliated...then again, he knew what was going on and maybe did it to show her she can't rewrite her behavior!
