Mario, Nice recap of the situation. Jill is looking more and more like the phony she is. That's shameful that she was saying how hurt she was that everyone threw her off the island, when before the trip she tried to get them not to go with Ramona. Alex is right. Jill is in high school. "I'm the popular cool girl, go on my trip instead of Ramona's" You just don't do that to one of your "oldest" friends. Thanks for the objective view of the episode.

Hey Mario, It sure must be hard to watch all this drama and what went down in St.Thomas when your wife just had such sincere intentions of celebrating with her friends. You have a wonderful wife!

Bravo, Bravo well said. Couldn't agree more. I did think that Alex over-reacted at Jill's arrival, and that the women could have been a bit more gracious to Jill and Bobby. I think it came down to them finally enjoying their day after the looney toon left, and in walks the meddling Jill.

Mario- Right on target, as usual! I hadn't thought of the ambush incident, but you are so right- in Jill's mind, it's OK if she does it, but if anyone else dares to "surprise" her, look out!

I am glad Luann and Jill weren't on the trip- I only wish Kelly had declined to go- the trip would have been 4 days of peace and tranquility (and some wine and dancing!)

I found Jill's remark about being friends with Ramona for 15 years very disingenuous after the voiceover remark she made when being invited to go in the first place. "Being married to her (Ramona) for one day is a milestone". Very catty and insulting remark and shows her true feelings in my opinion. This is why the four on the trip felt this visit by Jill was no more than her asserting her "power" and wanting to stick her nose in it to see what's happening since now Kelly's calls had peaked her interest- Jill loves drama and conflict. People have a sense of things and Ramona and the other girls felt right away this was not a genuine visit of affection and affirmation.

Kudos to Ramona for sticking up for what is right and for her true friends!!

Instead of giving someone the benefit of the doubt, she fought and fought and seemed to blame you for something you'd never intended in the first place.

Thank you for setting the record straight. We've been wanting to know if what we saw was the real thing or just editing, as Kelly repeatedly claims.

Well finally someone on the show seems to have it right!! Thank goodness for Mario. Your wife planned such a lovely trip, shame shame on Kelly for destroying such a wonderful atmosphere! And shame on Jill, we did not get to see her try to manipulate the ladies not to go on Ramona's trip. Who wouldn't love to have a friend like Ramona! Best of luck to you and she.

I disagree with the assertion that LuAnn did a disservice to herself by not attending the trip from hell. Watching the backstabbing, cattiness, etc that is displayed by most of the girls makes me think " with friends like that who needs enemies. " First Ramona, states that she has to have JIll attend, and then she is the one initiating the conversations regarding Jill. Why talk about her? It would make any friend of Jill's feel uncomfortable. Was the gossiping necessary?

While I was watching what was happening with the girls on the trip to St. John, all I kept thinking about was how much the trip must have cost Ramona. And to then have to endure all the drama kinda defeated the entire purpose of the trip. Unnfair to Ramona is what I was feeling. If I had taken four of my friends on a trip, they would be so grateful and appreciative. They would never say a bad word to each other because their priority would be to have a good time whether or not they all liked each other.

Mario, you always tell it like it is... Such a class act you and Ramona! Its one thing for Jill to pop in (which was inappropriate) but to bring Bobby to an all girls party was doubley so.

Your beautiful and kind wife handled a very difficult situation with class and dignity. She threw one heck of a trip (very,very generous) for her friends. She handled Kelly and Jill with gentle yet firm deftness, and looked out for ALL her guests. The more I watch Ramona, the more impressed I am with her. She has developed a maturity and strong sense of self this season. She adores and respects you and your daughter, yet still retains that quirkiness which is simply delightful!!! I hope you know and treasure what you got in Ramona....She's a gem

My husband and I just had a 40 minute conversation about that show. Are they all REALLY as they appear on camera, or are they playing up the antics for ratings sake? If they are truly they way they are depicted on the show, I can only say... BETTER YOU THAN ME! LOL

I don't get why Ramona is still friends with Jill. Just because they've known each other for 15 years is no reason to keep in touch with a woman who continually tries to undermine everything and make every event and situation all about her.

What does Ramona like about Jill? Can you shed some light on that?

Mario- your wife behaved with class. I DO have to say, she was on the hooters boat when Bethanny was trying to push Kelly's buttons at every turn. Bethanny is a snarky, rude person. And- please replay the last episode: LuAnn called the vacation "Poison Island" at lunch and then told all the ladies at Sonya's party that Kelly said it. Kelly seems nice, just appeared to have too much alcohol and is not into the gossip or the Bethanny mouth. I think Kelly drank to relax and it backfired. I could NEVER have a friend like Bethanny; she is rude, self-centered, snarky, repeats her sentences (but said Kelly wasn't intelligent?) So Mario - even though it was rude, maybe Ramona was correct in what she said to Bethanny on the Brooklyn Bridge?
