Now for last night's show. It was very interesting to see how all the girls are working on various businesses, books etc. I would like to congratulate Bethenny on the success of her book. One thing I must say though is that she broke one of her own rules by taking back the comments she said about Jill’s apartment on her blog. Bethenny didn’t you say that “once you say it you own it?" I guess you forgot that when you tried to take it all back. I got such a laugh out of the things she said that I just couldn’t resist to make a few remarks myself. One thing that puzzled me was how she criticized Ramona for having three different brands; TrueFaithJewelry.com, Tru-Renewal Skin Care and Ramona Singer Estate Jewelry on HSN. Hey Bethenny, aren’t you promoting Bethenny Bakes, SkinnyGirl Margaritas and Naturally Thin? Where is the synergy? If it works don’t fix it.
Now for my favorite housewife (other than Ramona) Jill. We find Jill trying to single handedly revive the US economy by spending Bobby’s money like he had a printing press. And what was that “Big PP” (private plane) comment? Not funny Jill. Stick to what you do best, getting your picture taken as much as possible and shopping.
LuAnn is seen working on her book which I understand will be out shortly. Maybe they should hold the presses and make a few changes. Out with the chapter on “How to stay Happily Married” and add a chapter on “The Proper Manners and Etiquette when going though a Divorce."
Mario is so not funny! He just whines his way through his blog making snarky comments at everyone. I don't think much of him.
Mario,
You are mean spirited and a real jerk, but don't take my comments too seriously, that's just my sense of humor!!!
Mario!!!! My goodness! Your blog is better than bethenny and jill's put together! hilarious...love you but what happened the the sweet guy from last season? Love the way you call'em!
Mario,
I really liked you last season. I thought you had a lot of class especially being married to a woman who can put her foot in her mouth any time she speaks. But this season you have become a bitter housewife. Did you not watch yourself lose it with a camera in front of your face when you freak out about this boring tennis thing with Jill over and over and over? You should be more empathetic to Simon since you behave just like him. I wish you would go back to being a classy guy and give up your new career as a bickering housewife.
Your blog was better from last week but that was a VERY LOW blow towards LuAnne regarding her divorce. And please stop talking about the tennis match. SERIOUSLY.
I love your posts Mario. I hope you get to continue posting. You don't suck up to anyone and you call things how they really are, unlike Simon who goes to great lenghts each week to make excuses for his behavior.
oh my mario! let it go. we all know you're a pro tennis player. why do you give a hoot about how much money Jill spends. I do believe there is jealousy here. It's strange though, do you secretly wish to be married to bobby?
grow up and stop blogging you sound so vicious
Mario!! It was so much fun to read your blog that you should continue doing it. It is great to read what you guys think since we only get to see the version from bravo tv and all of you give us more insight of what is going on. You have to keep it real and thats why the show is successful and your blog was good! Cheers!
Mario,
Priceless!!! Although, I must say your wife has acted totally bizarre at times and I wondered how you deal with that. I really like your analogy on everyone’s behavior and you make me lol too. Jill is full of herself week by week and hard to watch. Love the show as it makes me grateful to not have friends like any of you.
Mario,
I love you and Ramonas bluntness with people, you both keep it real and tell it like it is. You are absolutely right, what does Jill do besides spend bobbys money. I'd like to know what kind of life she lived before she got a hold of him
Love you and Ramona! Thanks for setting the record straight. All the Jill-lovers need to get over themselves and go post on her blog how while wearing those tacky Team Jill t-shirts.
Mario,
I laughed out loud, you are very funny! I love it that you don't take everything so serious and find your take on the show hilarious.
I found last weeks blog funny also, I think it's great you are calling Jill out in regards to her over the top drama queen act.
Jill's comments about a private plane was so pathetic, another social climber on the loose. I loved it when poor Bobby said he knew she would find something to complain about while receiving an extravagant gift. So telling...
Simon's hissy fit was really funny, poor Alex looked like she thought he was nuts. It must be hard to hand your tiara over to your husband!
Bethenny does look a bit foolish trying to school Ramona about business, have they met? You and Ramona are obviously very sucessful in your business and personal life, maybe Bethenny should be asking questions instead of giving instructions!
Best of luck to you and Ramona, her skin looks great so I'll be checking out her new skin line. (The one that has it's own name)
Mario, I understand there are probably many things that go on behind the scenes that we don't know about which is probably why you make some of the comments that are so rude. But really take it down a couple notches. I really thought you were awesome last season but this season you are just getting ridiculous. And that comment abotu Luann was so uncalled for. Not everyone can have the so called "perfect" life that you and ramona supposedly have.
Mario; I am glad you joined the blogging crowd! I don't agree with LuAnn needing to change the title of some of the chapters in her book. You can be the most perfect partner in the relationship all you want. As long as there are women willing to pursue married men, there will be affairs. If Halle Berry can get cheated on, ANY woman can get cheated on. Don't blame LuAnn, blame the whore that went after a man that the whole world knows is married bc he's on a friggin TV show. As far as Jill's spending habits-as long as you've got champagne pockets, its ok to have champagne taste. The economic tsunami was triggered by the mortgage crisis- people having champagne taste with ginger ale pockets. Focus your anger towards them.
A gentleman would not feel the need to take someone down a few notches. He would just let it go and never mention it again.
Mario, You are the best. When will you write a book on tennis???? You are handsome, and attractive. What drew you to Ramona? I like her too, she seems real. I think the two of you make a great team. Would you do a shirtless tennis game for us at home.
Mario - I still think you are funny! Keep up the blogging - it suits you. A lot of the viewers must have nothing better to do than be haters. Again - people - this is a SHOW - it is for entertainment purposes. You are not going to "teach Mario a lesson" by spewing negativity. It is obvious that this is "tongue in cheek"
I like your blog Mario. Keep it up! Your blog is no more critical than Tamera's or Bethanny's. But people don't seem to like your blog and igore the nasty thingsx Tamera and Bethanny say becuase Bethanny is a fan favorite. I love you and Ramona and am convinced the show would be boring without you guys. You have an opinion and I'm glad you share it!!
I think it is a shame that you felt it necessary to make fun of Luann's divorce. You know she has two children who are probably suffering. That is a laugh riot, isn't Mario. You have totally disappointed me.
Mario - seriously, let the tennis thing go already - and I can't believe you would make that comment about LuAnn's divorce - that shows a total lack of class. I liked you last season - but this season shows your true colors - what a disappointment.
Mario,
Nobody should joke about someone's divorce like that. LuAnn may come across as snobby and putting on airs, but nobody should take a shot like that about marriage. Shame on you.
I play a lot of social tennis, so I know how even 'friendly games' can bring out the beast in people. The most important lesson I've learned from it all is this--the best players simply let their game do the talking!! 'Proving' how good you are with words, excuses, and score-blabbing shows weakness. Take the high road, and work on your follow through.
It is rather disturbing the way Mario responds to people when things do not go his way. Especially with Jill...he looks like a crazy man flailing his arms and getting in her face...and all over a little tennis game. I most certainly would not do business with an individual like that.
I love your post! I do have to do one thing to say....you ar actually a lot like B. You have an honest tone to the blogs. I can actually picture you saying this blog out loud because I believe you are trying to please no one but state your side of what is going on. Everyone besides you and B like to sprinkle sugar on peoples back after stabbing it a bit. I love your blog...much better than Simon the temper tantrum throwing man. He truly showed that he has an extremely volitile side of him and Alex wanted to jump out of the moving car. I would believe that this is a regular occurance and that she just sits there and takes it. I have seen you rant and act too cocky, but so what. You are the full package. A successful business owner who likes to work and sweat. You seem to be a good husband and father and that is a rare trait in the world we live in. One thing I would love to see more is you and your family's faith shown more.
Entertaining blog, but the reference to Luann's divorce was totally uncalled for and unclassy. Get over the tennis match, its old news, and quite frankly is boring all us viewers to hear about it so many times. it seems like you are interested in getting more air time and are just creating unnecessary drama.
Game, set, match...we get it, you're a great tennis player. You should really be more gracious though...it was no big accomplishment to beat Jill and Simon and no one really cares.
I can't believe you said that about LuAnn....Going through a divorce can be really difficult and devastating. Hopefully you will never have to go through that...That was mean spirited, and not funny. And by the way, you criticize Simon for wanting attention and now you have a blog?? Give me a break, you are the one that should stick to what you do best, which I still don't know what it is...
Comments on LuAnne and her situation were in no way funny. That was as low as I have seen anyone get on any of these shows. You know, last year, I wondered, how can someone as nice as Mario appears to be see his wife behave the way she does and not give her a check as most couples do when one or the other acts inappropriately-----Well, question has been answered. Grow up Mario.
You and Simon are very entertaining. I love both of your blogs. Although, some things you have said are inappropriate, but I guess that is the "Yankee" in you.
I love your recaps of the show and your view on the others. I don't think anything you said is mean. Keep up blogging I find it entertaining. Thanks Mario. Don't stop.
Mario,
You should never comment on someone's divorce! It's so out of line and in no way funny. Your blog was fine up until that moment. What were you thinking....? That's worse than not being a gentleman, it's just plain RUDE and MEAN.
Commenting on someone's divorce is so low. its great you have a wonderful marriage but think of the hurt and embarassment Luann and her fam are going through right now. Last season you seemed like a class act but this season + the blogging- you seem like a nitwit. oh ps- congrats on the man-blog. now you and simon are the same
mario enough already. I found you much more interesting and pleasant when you were barely on the show and didn't blog.
I find it disconcerting that you are involving yourself so much with what goes on in the other h'wives lives. Your new, more involved role makes you look like a wanna-be Simon, always trying to vie for the spotlight. Trust me, take the back seat like you have in the past, the light is more favorable.
I think you are funny...but be careful, I have to agree the divorce comment was maybe going too far...
You know how Lincon said it's "better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt?" That's what I think of when I hear Mario talk now.
Used to think Ramona was the crazy one...
Mario, A gentleman should never take a low blow like someone's divorce. That is a very personal issue that involves two children who are having to deal with this. As a father you should have been more conscious of your words, being that these two children are dealing with a very personal issue, in a very public forum. Also, were you not using your tennis skills to try to one up Jill? As a tennis player you made tennis look like a common school yard contest between children. Instead of the game of skill that it truly is. IT is ashame that you consider yourself a good person because you are full of yourself.
its true simon had a mini meltdown, but you my friend have also had a few...no one can always be composed. i liked your blog this time, it was less self obsessed and had plenty of sharp commenetary...and ofcourse i love bethenny's impression of kelly that you mentioned!! ahhh lmao and catty on the countess! lol keep it real
For someone that prides themself on being a gentleman, your comments about the Countess's marriage were not only disrespectful and inappropriate, but really showed what kind of person you truly are. I cannot imagine that as you watch the series that you truly believe Ramona is the most normal or down to earth housewife, and your tactic of consistently bashing your co cast members to bring yourself up a peg in the public eye is not only not effective but sad to watch.

mario, last year i actually liked you. but this year, my goodness, you are acting like a crazy person. is this how you treat women, it's disgusting. take a hint from jill, and shut it!
