Hi Mario, Even though you got in Jills face last season I do like you anyway because Jill can hold her own if she has to.It's refreshing to read your blog and Simons too . Men are usually not the greatest at expressing their feelings so it's really so nice to have a mans point of view.I think you and Ramona have a good relationship and that too is refreshing. I think out of all the women on the show there are only two who show they have talent -- Ramona and Bethany. I think Jill has a good heart and I love her daughter to pieces, (who wouldn't be proud of such a lovely human being and she's so pretty), but Jill I think sees Ramona as her biggest threat -- maybe subconsciously. I don't know why, maybe b/c Bethany is at a different place, looking to get settled down, searching, not quite there yet! Ramona is successful in her own career, she isn't perfect but she has a hubby and a great daughter too! I think Jill likes to be taken care of, whilst Bethany and Ramona can and could survive by themselves. Jill and Ramona should just get over it and learn to get along, b/c when they are together they are so funny, a bunch of us don't stop laughing at their repartee. They should do a show together. The other women, the pretentious Louanne (is she not aware that a Countess title in Europe is 10 a penny, everyone knows this) and poor Alex is like wallpaper compared to the rest. As for Kellly, well a bout in rehab might be coming!

I think Cherrypie is really Ramona! Who else has that much time or really cares to say that much about this guy! No one likes him that much. He was just annoying during the show and really not a gentleman.

genuine on the show unlike Bobby and Simon. Bobby acts
like Jill's doormat. She treats ginger better than she
does Bobby. He indulges her and it seems that she's
never appreciative. And I agree with you totally about
Simon. He and Alex are both in denial. Simon is so close
to coming out of the closet that it's funny. I've seen
this type of denial in relationships like theirs and I
think if it wasn't for their boys, Simon would be out by now. While I think he's a very attentive father, most
gay men are too their sons. I think it helps them keep
the charade going, but in time it will come to a head.
Simon is screaming to let his "Simone" side up. Lastly,

When Ramona explained why she didn't attend Alex's open house, you told her what you thought she should have said according to you. When Bethanny wanted you to apologize about the signage at the charity, you ignored her, when a quick 'I'm sorry', would have made your friend feel better.
Jill do you think that your friends tollerate you because you are richer? Jill, who died an made you queen? Also, when Bobby gave you the car (Mercedes SUV), you frowned and shoved the red bow off the dash board as if you did not appreciate his gift, adn then you went on complaining about what features were missing.

I thought you're that quiet nice husband opposite your noisy, mouthy wife Ramona--but I love that she speaks her mind--except sometimes not at the right place or time-ugh!

Overall, it's fun to watch all of you and I say of all the
Real Housewives shows, I admire New York the best cause they're more family/children oriented plus more fund-raising exposure than the other RH shows. Hope to you all next season--enjoy the summer.

Reairing of Mario's dirty laundry! Mario probably will be on the Reunion show since they gave Simon air time last season to try to redeem himself. My thoughts on Mario tonight is he be wearing those high-heals, and fnacy dress he's been dying to wear. That maybe the only way to top Simon. It looks like Bethenny's attack dogs are on the loose again!

Ramona pointed out the number of signs, period! Jill went nuts and was mad because she could have advertised her company again. Bethenny flipped out and acted like a baby instead of returning a phone call or waiting till the event was over.

Once again, Ramona is being blamed for someone else's actions. It's as if Jill and Bethenny are 5 year old girls that need to be coddled. They are responsible for their own words and actions, not Ramona.

If Bethenny didn't know about the signs then what was she flipping out about? Can't have it both ways!!

$25,000 in liquor for 250 people at a cocktail party, yeah right! $100 per person at retail cost including children, that is a ridiculous claim. (not to mention it would be at the liquor companys cost)

I hope you will be blogging next year, you have a great sense of humor and take on the show. Plus, it seems to drive some of your castmates nuts when you call them out!

TV has now become one long infomercial from midnight to 8 a.m. on almost every channel, even though, we, as cable subscribers, pay for TV.. not 8 hours of commercials.. So, watching the Bravo shows/reading the blogs on the websites which are now becoming even more of a promotion of everyone's wares, is just insulting. We already pay a ton for cable TV. We do not want to watch shows that are just more "middle class" sales people hawking their wares. It is getting ridiculous. Is this the way that Bravo "pays" you for being on the show??? By letting all of you hawk your wares?

Yep! Leave it to Mario to step right into an argument, just because he can. Frangelico does not in fact make tequila, but is in fact a brand name of a type of liquor that was part of the bar. Did it ever occur to you and your loving, crazy wife that perhaps Bethenny was telling the truth, and knew nothing about the signage?

Your wife was wrong to instigate Jill, and Jill was wrong to go off without getting all the facts!

Ramona's comment about the Social Register shows how uninformed she is. The register does not dictate appropriate behavior. Also, shame on you Mario for your comments about Luann. You should be bigger than that. Go back to your tennis and your 3rd generation company.

The fighting over advertising for the charity event went way too far. I have served on several charitable committees, though not on the scale of this one. Advertising for big donations is expected here in Florida. To have a few signs behind the bar should have been a non-issue. After all they made a HUGE liquor donation. Do you think they will be willing to make a donation next year if they receive NO recognition? The bar area actually looked much classier with the signs than with whatever it was that was in the frames when they removed them. At a previous event, Jill had coupons for a discount at Zarin's and was screaming "fabric, Fabric, FABRIC!" over the mic. Too many double standards going on here.

I'm certainly not surprised you would side with Ramona on the bar signage but you either misspoke or you don't know what you're talking about. You said Bethenny put up the signage and Bethenny very clearly said she was not there when it was put up by the company that donated the bar. This company donated the bar Mario -- your True Faith was on the picture signage, which I have to assume you totally agree with, but you agree with Ramona the bar shouldn't have signage from the company that donated the entire bar?? By the way I think you should watch yourself in the shows. You come off as a TOTAL JERK with your crying over the tennis match.

Why can't any of the other husbands on this show be more like Bobbi...Bobbi just sits back love and supports Jill, and just watches you all make complete fools of yourself. I use to look at Simon as the last housewife, and excused him b/c he is just way to in touched with his feminine side, but you really brought yourself down to his level this season, and it is very unattractive, and takes alot away from you. Mario, youre cool. People will always have something to complain about so just keep focused on living life the way God wants you to. The name of the show is THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NYC". It's a title. Simon and Mario are spouses of these "REAL HOUSEWIVES" therefore their input is added becauase apparently Bravo thinks it's a good idea.
Your complaint is as pointless as complaining about developing the characters of "The Willises" and "Thelma" on the 70's sitcom "The Jeffersons" because they are not "Jeffersons" and therefore, 'what the hell are they doing on the show"?

Mario, I don't understand why you felt it necessary to harras Jill about playing the tennis match. The rematch should have been between the same people playing last season. If you just wanted to play a match with her, you could have handled it so much better. And Yes, Jill seems to feel the need to be "one up" sometimes, but thats her...and you like her or you don't. But you went so overboard and so did Ramona that it really was a negative look for the Singers . I know you didn't want Ramona to lose to Jill again and thats what is was all about. I found it funny that Ramona had to create such angst between Jill and Bethenney as she was stuffing the gift bags with HER skin care products and You were getting Kudos for the award plaques from YOUR business? Bethenny's co. donated over $20,000 in free drinks to the event and she was not the one who posted the signage, so, WHY would Ramona and you get Jill so worked up and ruin her evening by egging Jill on about this? Just the typical RUDE and passive-aggressive behavior that both of you always indulge in. That does not make friends, nor, promote good business relations.. To have a friend, you need to BE one... You and Ramona isolate people from you. You create angst... no one wants to be around that.. Be Nice for a change?

Now, Mario, is it possible that any of you don't see how much business/self-promotion was going on at that benefit by all of you? Boy, did the fangs come out when business opportunities and money were the issue.

So here you are, advertising your products by linking them to the "donated" awards for the women. Explain how this is different from what happened in Bethenny's situation?

The worst in all of this was how Ramona and Jill turned on each other and Bethenny without so much as a kind word or thought when it came down to the money. That was just sad.

This year has been about making money by selling yourselves and/or products for ALL of you. It's been one long infomercial. You seem to be nice enough people, but you can't possibly believe we have missed this fact.

After all these weeks of you waxing on about Simon's wrongs, how could YOU not weigh in with your thoughts about what he wore to the event. He looked laughable and pitiful wearing the shiny red leggings and pimp jacket. While dancing with the woman of his dreams (Ramona); he looked like he was at a singles' club trying to score. It was a ridiculous display.

I LOVED watching Ramona and Simon dance! It was just the best! It reminded me of Elaine on Seinfeld. You're wife and you are great.

Well, I am more shocked by the lack of rancor in your blog. Simon looked like a cross between an elf in those tight, red, shiny leggings and an over-the-hill 60 year old rock and roll has been. You were totally wrong about the signage as was your wife, who cranked up Jill but played nice with Bethenny as she didn't have the guts to tell her she called it to Jill's attention. And self promoting being declasse? Ramona was the queen of self promoting the entire year, as were you, the new "housewife". For everything you have said about the rest of the cast, you are more than guilty of. I still can't get over the episode when Ramona came in to help you work and your web site sign was pointed straight at the camera. You two belong together. Alex and Simon may enjoy the camera a bit much, but even they didn't attempt the self promotion and glorification you two managed to do this year. And let's not forget episode one when Ramona reads Jill's interview to your daughter, saying how terrible it is to say something mean in print about anyone, then both of you proceeded to spend the season knocking anyone in sight. Enjoy your 15 minutes, as it was 14 minutes too long.
